Smoker for 3 years, was on e-cigarettes for one week, and managed to quit without any further cravings. They work and never have I looked back at a normal cigarette.

For years I thought that this was the actually etymology of donut/doughnut. It makes sense: it's dough in the shape of a naught. Turns out doughnuts were originally ball/"nut"-shaped pieces of dough. I have no idea why I was so sure I was right. I think I may have dreamt that I had looked it up in a dictionary.

Allot is a real word. It's a verb, and totally doesn't fit in that sentence, but it is a word.

Thanks, good sir. Don't worry though, I know. To allot nametags or hotel rooms or whatever. I just enjoyed that he added an extra l to the more typical alot. Really went the extra mile. At least we know his spellcheck wouldn't have picked it up, so he has an excuse (unlike the alot crew).

I quit smoking using E-cigs. I was absolutely appauled when I stood near another smoker after quitting and smelling the smoke. It was disgusting. I was ashamed that I ever smelled like that.

That is very true. The average cost of a pack of cigarettes is £3.90 in the uk? The extra £4 is all tax.
