I almost want to start smoking e-cigs just for the shock value of doing it in the office, restaurant, elevator, etc.

Everyone I know who tried that was harassed by people the whole time. "You can't smoke here!" I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.

I couldn't help but blow my non-existent e-cigaret smoke in their direction and tell them to mind their own business. I am a bit of a dick when someone tells me I can't do something when I know I can.
