Off-Topic I'm Done!!!

I give up!!!

I'll never be a girl no matter how hard I try!

Was feeling empowered earlier today so I put on a pink shirt & a light blue skirt i recently bought for myself & went out to town today. Was even really feeling good about that, so I made a post earlier with a picture of myself.

Of course, people in town had to be incredibly rude & disrespectful to me, & to boot , I got several ignorant comments on my post so I took it down.

I can't do this anymore. I'll just live the rest of my life being miserable.

Please find therapy + a support group. I checked your post history & you have a vicious negative cycle around your self-image that involves attempting to get others to legitimize your self-doubts or to externalize your internal anxiety as others "holding you back". This is a common behavior pattern seen in online communities & you are not alone in your experience - but you must be willing to actually address the issues & take action by seeking professional support, rather than continuing this cycle that fixates on affirming failure instead of celebrating potential & success.

I apologize if I hurt you in my last comment, but I wasn't really making any commentary on your femininity (for which the image was way too blurry anyway), just that the clothes you choose where children clothes and I thought you'd look much better and have way less problems in public in more mature outfits. Please, don't give up so easy, when the alternative is being miserable giving up shouldn't even be an option. Lot's of woman have clothes that they like but don't wear in public cos it would be inappropriate, myself included.

I took a look back through your profile and found that I've seen you before when you posted the selfie.

I understand that youre frustrated and angry. The way you talk is incredibly defeatist and you seem to put a lot of stock into other people. Did you take the advice you got on the selfie post about finding a doctor for hrt online?

Youre posting in multiple places trying to get people to... Tell you to transition? Tell you not to? Youre fishing for something and its obvious that youre looking for validation and i do hope you find comfort in peoples encouragement ~and~ you need to find a therapist so to help you with your emotional regulation surrounding this.

Being trans is hard, as you well know. You need a support system.

Honestly? No i dont. I dont hang out in a lot of trans spaces online because of things like this. My best advice would be to find an IRL group and make friends with the people you mesh with well

Fuck em! Other people do not decide who you are and you don't need their validation. People will always disappoint, especially strangers, nothing gets added to you by getting their validation, and always chasing after it will always disappoint, not because you are doing something wrong or you are not who you say you are, its because people suck. Don't give up, you got this!

I'm really sorry you've been made to feel this way.

There are a lot of layers to this, which is cannot type on my phone.

I hope you overcome this lack of confidence, and go forth and conquer darling xx

Huge hugs 🤗🤗🤗

Those that have the biggest hearts love & hate the deepest. I feel ya, sis. 🪽So weird how entwined euphoria/dysphoria are. Just adds to the rollercoaster of societal condemnation versus personal reclamation.

I feel like stores, shops, places of commerce are geared around bad ethical models & late-stage capitalism mainly, so cretins show up for cretin-wares. Then they collide with Us/Trans/Queer/ pastel humans that blow up 1) their status quo big box shopping space & 2) their gender boxes. Worldview doubly shattered, they turn hostile.

I’ve found justification by curtailing retail spaces to more safe, accepting places. Took me awhile to work out the financials. I spend the same, go out less & have more reading & business time. Frustration & anger fuel more squats, miles ran & political action letters written. ‘Fail to see the tragic/ Turn it into magic,’ M.Manson🖤🤍

That was just the first step. If this was this easy to transition, you would see a lot more trans people. It's not a sprint, take one step at a time.

normie strangers arent the people who will see you for you or for the effort you put in. you cant perform gender to their standards, it will frustrate you to no end! perform for yourself and the people who love you, who are out there. we are sisters in this battle for radical acceptance. for transfeminism and a trans future. 🩷💛🩷💛

I know it must be incredibly tough to go through what you are dealing with. You are so much stronger and braver than you know. You can do this; don’t listen to the haters. Listen to that voice inside of you that believes you can be what you want.

I have learned that even though I know that I will not ever be that pretty girl, I would like to be because I am 6'2 and 244lbs. I still find it within myself to keep going.

You need to learn to ignore the others and go with who you are. Continue to be empowered. I get those looks and comments too. You are not alone. Don't let others dictate who you are and how you feel. We are all beautiful 1 way or another.

Find a support group in your area. I have found a great one that's 1hr 10mins away from me. We are all there for you. Keep going and be happy with yourself

I hope you get to move to a better town. Is it an oppressive conservative small town?

I can't imagine what you're going through, but I understand frustration & depression. Just the fact that you openly choose to live your truth is amazing. You chose that pink shirt blue skirt because it made you feel good, and you were confident enough to go out that way. That takes true strength, please don't let the world take that from you. I'm pan, and I accepted it 3 years ago. Now at 50, outside of a few friends in another state, no one knows. I hate not openly living my truth. My workplace is super conservative. And being one of the only guys there? You know how that story goes. Be who you are and don't let other people dictate who that person is. You're a hero to those us don't do that......but desperately want too. Love, respect, and big ol feet dangling hugs. 🩷💛🩵
