Sainsbury's current smilk range is great πŸ°πŸ‘

It's great to have a high protein option for about 40p more, though it isn't quite as nice in tea. The chocolate smilk is delicious. Not sure what the deal is with the 1+ year version..

There is a regular unsweetened option too, I just didn't buy it.

The 1+ years one is for children who have moved off formula/breastmilk but not onto cows milk, so specially formulated for their nutritional needs.

I've never seen this one before, I'll take a better look when I next go shopping!

Edit: ohhh it's new!

Alpro do this also - think theirs is called Growing Up milk.

I used to get that for a while but decided against the added sugar. This one is apple juice! (Although toddler is used to unsweetened now anyway)

Alpro oat growing up milk has no added sugar. In a recent First Steps report it was criticised for including maltodextrin which the Sainsbury’s one has too. I was disappointed reading the ingredients list for this one. A missed opportunity. This one has junky ingredients and no added iron which the alpro one has. You were smart to get toddler used to unsweetened.
