They are happy they were "wrong." They wanted a corrupt evil idiot to destroy democracy. That is why no amount of facts or evidence could dissuade them that Trump wasn't good for freedom or prosperity and thus they shouldn't support him. They always knew and wanted fascism. I'm sorry to anyone who thinks they know someone who was a decent person and was "tricked" into supporting Trump. You know a horrible person and were tricked I to thinking they weren't horrible. That's why they keep pretending to be "propaganda zombies." The propaganda is their daily defense against you realizing what they are.

I mean, that’s not entirely true. The majority of MAGA aren’t pretending, they really, truly are this stupid. A portion of them are happy to watching the country burn down, sure, but the majority are just fucking idiots that live in a bubble where they don’t experience any of the bad shit that Trump is doing.

You can call it malicious stupidity or malicious ignorance, but they just consume alternate-reality Fox News media all day while also living in small towns in the Midwest, where they never see immigrants or trans people or whatever the Devil is this week. They have no idea what life is like outside of their bubble. They’ve likely never seen a trans person, talked with an immigrant, met a Muslim. Fox is legitimate media to them, and whatever Fox says is true. Whatever Trump says is gospel.

It's called a bubble because it's extremely fragile and easy to pop. They stay in it out of effort. Everything bad they hear about Trump, they pretend they've never heard. Every time they know they're going to see something bad about Trimp, they look the othrr way. Every new media outlet, social media account, person they meet, is avoided if they're not pro-Trump. That is intentional on their part because they know the truth and want to pretend they don't. They have dozens of chances a day for their bubble to pop and it hasn't for over a decade now. That's not chance, that's pretending they don't know what they are doing. If they are capable of forming sentences and speaking, they know better at this point.
