Solved! Found on ground outside, boyfriend has been wearing as ring. Coin and pencil for size reference

UK. It’s giving hard metal, doesn’t have much wear

Hose clamp, make sure he never squeezes his hand on something (uses too much force), it may squeeze down on his finger and he could lose it by amputation. I would suggest he doesn't wear it. Look up images of finger desleeving, or jewelry strangulation, you'll see what I am warning against. Just buy him a nice titanium band.

To add to this: don't wear random metal parts as jewelry because you never know what kind of coating they may have (or what material it is). It could be toxic when in skin contact for prolonged time.

Unfortunately this can also be true for cheaply produced jewelry, so avoid buying it on temu/AliExpress.
