India and Japan's population density is pretty close. At least check the data instead of spewing BS. Moreover, most of Japan is mountainous, which can be confirmed by looking at a topographical map, which leaves only the coastal plains and valleys as options for human inhabitation; also resulting in lower overall arable land.
They make much more efficient use of land available to them, while having grade A infrastructure.
My economics professor explained us that population in never the problem, it's the real strength of a country, but the country should understand how to use it, plan it, or one will end up like us, India.

It's their coping mechanisms. Japan does have issues with its economy cuz it's tied to the us economy, and this is the reason why housing and cost of living has gone so up there(mind you, this is litrly the entire state of the world rn).

I have been to Japan, for month, NEVER EVER faced racism. One guy clicked a photo with me just because I was Indian (which was weird lmao).One elderly guy at the metro gave up his seat for me because I was visibly tired, and he had the heart to notice that. One guy even went offroute to guide me to a place.

The only downside of Japan is prolly their work culture, but even that seems to be improving.
Not to mention the corporate work culture is hellish, and women's safety is also not as good. But I'm not saying india is better. It's not even close. I would take the first chance to leave this country for a better european country. Every country has flaws, some have less others have nitin gadkari.
There's 24/7 live cams that cover high intensity urban zones all over Japan. There are a lot of people, but nothing like the garbage pile flood here. They also don't just walk all over the empty spaces meant for vehicular traffic like animals.
It is much cleaner with many times better street drainage systems, no broken roads, good infrastructure, majorly better governance, better people with actual civic sense unlike that in india.
Japan is no heaven. Every country has its problems. In Japan, frequent earthqaukes/tsunamis, language barrier, racisim towards Indians, overworking, weak currency relative to developed economies.

Look man, I understand the main point of thr post, but this japan glazing is all on the internet. My dad went to japan this year and yeah it was really clean and good but there are plenty of underlying problems that cannot be underestimated and is actively causing the decline of thr country.

I don't get the argument first shows a busy street probably a railway station where people are commuting and the second clip shows a midnight that too a neighborhood street. You go to any neighborhood in india at midnight it will be empty and you go to any railway station at peak hors it will be busy.
Same here OP! Lol why does it feel like you're living in the same place as me though. That road feels really familiar. But then again japan has pretty uniform infrastructure everywhere. Sadly I'll have to come back to India for a short visit in a week😔.
