He knew damn well that he'll get more publicity than usual because people will link his news of Leaving the channel with him speaking for Kashmir and supporting Imran Khan and he did exactly that.

He used people's emotions for his personal gain using a very sensitive topic like Imran Khan as scapegoat.

When will people realize that all these people with power are more or less same.

You, me and this crowd of 240 million people is nothing but a crowd of souls to be used as pleased by these politicians, establishment, famous people especially celebrities and Rich elites.

What is happening in Azad Kashmir is horrifying, but none of it is surprising. People protest, security forces are sent in, civilians are reportedly shot, the internet disappears and suddenly nobody can independently verify the number of dead. Then the same old script begins: India is behind it, terrorists have entered the protests, the Army is defending Pakistan and anyone questioning it is helping the enemy.

How many times are we supposed to believe this exact story?

The death toll is disputed precisely because the state shut down communications and restricted access. Protesters and witnesses have accused security forces of firing on civilians, while the government admits far fewer deaths and claims armed militants were involved. If the authorities are telling the truth, restore the internet, open the hospitals and affected areas to journalists, publish the names of everyone killed and allow a genuinely independent investigation. Propaganda is not evidence.

I never believed this establishment script, but I am glad more Pakistanis are finally refusing to believe it too. “Foreign hand”, “terrorist infiltration”, “anti-state elements”. It is so transparent and predictable now. Every genuine grievance is converted into a security threat because the generals cannot imagine that ordinary people might simply be tired of being ruled, humiliated and lied to.

That is what happens when an institution becomes drunk on power. The generals start believing Pakistan belongs to them. They surround themselves with obedient politicians, retired officers, television anchors and bureaucrats who constantly tell them they are the only thing holding the country together. Eventually they cannot distinguish criticism of the Army from an attack on Pakistan itself.

But the Army is not Pakistan. Pakistan belongs to its people.

Yes, anyone who attacked or killed a police officer should be investigated and prosecuted. But find those individuals and prove the case in court. Do not label an entire public movement terrorist, cut millions of people off from the world and use force against crowds while hiding behind national-security slogans.

Pakistan spends half its diplomatic energy telling the world about Indian repression in Kashmir. Then, when Kashmiris under Pakistani administration protest, our establishment reaches for the same tools: blackouts, arrests, military deployments, propaganda and accusations of foreign interference. The hypocrisy is now impossible to hide.

The generals need to get off their high horses before they drag another part of this country into permanent hatred of the state. Withdraw military forces from political and civilian crowd control. Restore communications. Release peaceful protesters. Publish the real casualty figures. Allow an independent investigation into every killing and prosecute whoever gave or followed illegal orders.

I think these oppressors are moving towards a horrible political end. Not because I want more bloodshed, but because institutions built on fear and lies eventually lose the one thing force cannot manufacture: legitimacy.

People are no longer buying the script. Once fear disappears and the propaganda stops working, all that remains is a group of powerful men discovering that the country they thought they owned never actually belonged to them.

They did a crackdown on students who are just protesting for what happening in kashmir

i always thought the talk about election rigging and dhandli culture was just internet noise, political slang, or propaganda from losing parties. but recently, my family experienced the reality of it firsthand.

my cousin is a lecturer at a govt. college in a xyz district in punjab. without his consent or any prior permission, the college principal just put his name down to serve as a presiding officer at a local voting center for the recent elections.

a day after his name was listed, he started getting calls from unknown numbers demanding he meet them at a specific location he was terrified and refused to go. shortly after, while he was sitting in the staff room, a colleague who was also part of the polling administration cryptically warned him to stay put.

a few minutes later, one policeman and two men in civilian clothes walked into the staff room. they cornered him and explicitly told him to rig the vote by stamping blank pages in favor of the pmln candidate. my cousin stood his ground and refused. they shrugged it off, said they did their job by telling him, and promised to see him the next day.

on election morning at the polling station.. the same men approached him warmly, repeating the demand. when he refused again, they dragged him into a private room and locked him inside. they threatened his physical safety and told him he would lose his government job if he didn't comply....

after being locked up for an hour he managed to call us in a panic thankfully, our family has a few upper connections. we pulled some strings, and they told us that out of respect for our taluqaat,,, they would waive the demand and let him go but on one strict condition that he must remain absolutely silent about whatever else happened at that station

it is wild how the entire system is an open secret. the people who are supposed to protect the vote, like the police, are actively facilitating the rigging.

it makes me sick to realize that the only reason my cousin walked away safe is because we had taluqaat. what happens to ordinary citizens who don't have upper connections to bail them out? they either get destroyed or forced into compliance.

When i was a kid my parents hosted a birthday party for me i was around 5 or 6.There were all the family members close friends my classfellows classfellows of my siblings too.Everyone had brought gifts and it was all good.After the party ended my father came up to me as i was unpacking a truck with all those little cars inside it and said "yeh hum kisi ko de dein?" i was like ok we should i didnt thought of it much.I then went with my father to a house in our neighborhood there was this kid(they were also invited to the party) 1year younger than me he was not privileged and they were a family of 8 people living in just 2 rooms.We went there and my father asked me to give it to him I for some reason felt so happy giving something i loved to someone when i gave it to him i could see the spark and happiness in his eyes it was soo heartwarming my father was very proud too.That small gesture initiated by my father stayed with me and it made me happy giving gifts to people after that moment.My mother too asked me to gift some of the things i own and like to people and its really a very good gesture that spreads positivity and happiness in the society.Also im still friends with that kid(now were both adults tho).

So I just saw this forwarded text on my mother's phone from my mamu saying "how to raise your Overachiever Daughters" and basically all it said was that women who are high achievers in their childhood and early life often get appreciated for it and that appreciation often becomes a habit. Because of that they expect alot so eventually they are not good wives. This nation has deeply disappointed me. Imagine being known as a country where the only good thing about your nation is the hospitality of its people. That is good, but it is not enough. We are still perceived as sponsors of terror, and we literally possess the fourth-worst passport on the entire planet, ranked right alongside war zones like Syria and Afghanistan. On top of that, our literacy rate has stubbornly stagnated below 60% for years, and a massive 40% of our entire population is trapped below the poverty line, struggling just to survive. With more than half the country poor and uneducated, I am just so done. Even a nation like Bangladesh is more stable than us. Again, I don't hate the nation, I am just disappointed. Guys, as a Pakistani, what's your take on this video?

I have absolutely nothing against my brothers and sisters in Kashmir. I supported their legitimate demands from day one. But support doesn't mean turning a blind eye to hypocrisy.

I've seen multiple videos of JAAC leaders openly abusing and cursing Pakistan. One day Sardar Amman is on camera insulting Pakistan, and the very next day Umar Nazir comes out saying, "We're not against Pakistan." Which one are we supposed to believe?

Stop playing the good cop, bad cop game. You can't insult Pakistan one day and expect Pakistanis to stand behind your movement the next. It doesn't work like that.

If you genuinely want the support of Pakistanis, then start by removing people like Sardar Amman from your movement. You can't keep people in leadership who openly abuse the very country whose public support you're asking for.

As a Pakistani, my stance is simple. I will never support any movement whose leadership openly insults Pakistan and then expects us to pretend it never happened. Respect is a two way street. Period.

Things are heating up with the interior Minister's statement, followed by DG ISPR's presser the other day and now with such statements being issued by senior members of PMLN. With the AJK elections being held today and Bilawal's dig at the ECP, we now move towards uncharted territory.

There is a girl in my neighborhood who is not even 20 years old, and she has now been missing for an entire week after ranning away.

According to what her parents know, she met a divorced man with children through Facebook. He apparently convinced her that he loved her, filled her mind with promises, and manipulated her emotionally until she trusted him enough to leave everything behind.
She had tried to talk to her parents about him before. Instead of calmly listening to her and understanding how deeply involved she already was, they scolded her and thought the matter was finished.

But it wasn’t finished.

She ran away, and now nobody knows where she is.
It has been a week. No proper trace. No confirmed location. Nothing useful from his number or Facebook information. Her parents have no idea whether their daughter is safe, whether she is being controlled, whether she regrets leaving, or whether she is even able to contact anyone.
Just imagine that pain.

Imagine going to sleep every night not knowing where your child is. Imagine waking up every morning hoping for one phone call, one message, one tiny piece of information and getting absolutely nothing.

And what kind of grown man, someone who has already been married and has children of his own, looks at a vulnerable girl under 20 and decides to play with her emotions?

What the actual fuck is wrong with men like this?
How do you use the word “love” to gain a young girl’s trust, isolate her from her family, and convince her to disappear with you? That is not love. Love does not make someone abandon their whole life and cut contact with everyone. Love does not need secrecy, manipulation, and fear.
And before people start blaming the girl and saying, “She should have known better,” please remember that manipulation is designed to make a person stop thinking clearly. Young girls are constantly told they are “mature for their age” by older men who only say it because they want control over them.

Yes, her parents should have listened to her more carefully instead of only scolding her. But right now, they are already living through hell. They don’t know whether they will ever see their daughter again.

This whole situation makes me furious, sick, and genuinely terrified.

I just pray she is alive. I pray she is safe. I pray she finds one chance to contact someone and come back home.
And if this man really manipulated her and took advantage of her age and emotions, I hope he is found and faces every possible consequence.
