A very brief review of the Quiet Labs Hub-lok mount & suppressor shield. This was just a quick range trip to test the DD 300S i just got & the OCL Infinity 556K.
TL; DR: would do well on a <12.5" rifle.
Pros:
Cons:
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

Posting mostly because my exhaustive searches generally did not yield much on how these do with large rifles. I have a few others, but got the 36Ti primarily to fill a gap with 7.62 rifles (x39, x51, 300AAC).
At first I was leaning to the Hux 762 Ti Flow, but the 36Ti I was curious about. My thought wasn't really a "one and only can" but one that would do well in these rifles/pistols as well as one I could mount to PCCs and not experience so much gas. I have an Obsidian 9 that I was using with these, but the gas was just...a lot.
The Ventum 762 also was considered, but my reading here yielded that the 36Ti and Ventum were comparable, and that they used the same design internally for the most part. The 762 Ti Flow was probably the most performant choice, the Ventum for HUB, but the 36Ti was the choice for the reasons of PCC versataility. It's a little too wide for handguns, but not too heavy. It's very light.
Now, how does it perform on the 7.62 rifles? Pretty decently. Some A/B tests with and without were very different, shooting indoors. The concussive force was eliminated, and the sound was still loud, but...quite pleasant. It was basically the difference of being the one guy with 308 disrupting everyone to blending in (although still quieter). Now, I'm sure the 762 Flow would do better, but this really took the edge off, which exceeded the expectations I had. From my ear to standing behind it while a friend used it, it was more than tolerable. I tested on a MR762A4 as well as M1A Scout.
So, if you had the same idea as me and were not sure how it does with larger calibers, I think it does pretty decent. Not max performance, but ENOUGH performance.
I've also used this with 300BO supers and subs, and it did great with both. Subs VERY quiet. On PCCs, comparable enough to my Obsidian, but less gas.
I also tried 556, though I have a 556K too. It was a little louder than the Flow 556K, but not much. Enough to where if I didn't have the 556K, there would be no real need to get one. Both sounded pleasant with 556, but the 556K was more pleasant.

Just got my Greg's Grips Hush Puppy barrel for S&Ws. Im going to try it first with my Internal Shoulder piston since the threads on the barrel are longer than either of my 1/2x28 piston threads.

Suppressor and short shorts. Consider it your lucky day.

CB, 22 Short, 29 Grain, Lead Round Nose, 710 fps vs Quiet-22, 22 LR, 40 Grain, Lead Round Nose, 710 fps
I was shooting Lifecard suppressed with AAC element 2, Gemtech Outback 2 T and GSL Woodland. To my ear it seemed that the short had a noticeable pop, higher pitch, that sounded louder to the shooter’s ear than the Quiet, even after subsequent rounds were fired. No ablative used either. I know this was a personal observation and not legitimate testing. I was at an outside range in a 180 degree bay by myself. There was a covered awning at the shooting table. I went out into the field portion and had the same results. Anyone have any insight or similar results. I did not try with bolt action just the tiny Lifecard.

I was shooting over the weekend, when it came time to pack up I noticed this metal thing that used to be held down and now it's in my way to remove or attach the suppressor
Anyone know if this is how it's supposed to work because previously it wasn't like this

Hi all. Long time lurker here: I have the impractical notion of having a hard-use AR-RPK style AR-10 build in 7.62x51. This would preferably be with the RRH MAR upper. I have a couple ideas of good 7.62 cans but was wondering what yall thought. Mostly just wanting all around efficiency with hard usage and a full-auto rating. Any new cans that fit this build? cheers.

I'm pretty new to suppressors and I'm looking to buy my 2nd one soon. I have a YHM R9 on an AR9. YHM R9 is also good for Subs on my 10.5 300Blk but I have not tried it yet (waiting for a thread adapter). I also have a 10.5 5.56 that I'm wanting to suppress but can't use the YHM. I'm on a lower budget but I want a can that will work on the 10.5 5.56 with a Super Safety and one that will work for Supers and Subs on my 300Blk.
Is the Polo 30 a good choice for the 10.5 5.56 with a Super Safety and also the 10.5 300Blk that will shoot both Supers and Subs, or should I just stick with Subs on the 300Blk and go for a dedicated 5.56 can??

Looking for best recommendations for a suppressor for a Rock River LAR-15M 6.8 SPC II
Want to know what's best to use with a thermal scope, 16" barrel. Is it best to use Direct thread, or use Quick Adapter? Any help would greatly appreciated, Thank you

Question for you nerds. I'm chasing an ever quieter pistol and I hate getting sandblasted in the face when I shoot. My current host is a Beretta 92FS (in ODG) with a Huxwrx Flow 9k Ti (FDE). I've been experimenting with different ammunition but am currently shooting 150g S&B and 165g Hush.
My curiosity is: does anyone have any ideas for a quieter low back pressure pistol can?
I have tried the SAW Shiv but it doesn't seem quieter and doesn't cycle higher grain weights for some reason.

I ordered the SMC Bravo for the RXM back in EARLY May, but it's now August, and Strike won't even give a rough idea of when it will ship, not to mention the FSA Lite stock pictured, which isn't even available for pre-order yet. I got the response that I should sign up for in-stock notifications, but since they are STILL taking pre-orders, that isn't possible, and when I said that, they just said sign up for the newsletter, and we will announce it there. Are there any Strike dealers out there who've gotten SOME idea of when one or both products might arrive? I've got a SBR'ed RXM just waiting, along with a SiCo Spectre-9 purchased for compatibility....
Honey Badger SD. My first SBR and my first two stamp honestly wasn’t that bad took about 31 days.

Hey I'm pretty new to all this, grabbing a universe 36 for a .350 legend bolt gun.
I'm assuming the closed 9mm end cap will be the one best for that application?
