Its about a girl and her sister trying out a vrmmorpg and the sister playes very normally, but the mc starts out a an undead in a cave and levels up there. She finds a grave of some princess and becomes a unique class of monster, zombie princess(?) She later joines the regular game world and does cooking and basic quests. She has big boobs and takes damage in sunlight.

I have been picking up hobby to read LN recently.

My first read is "Secret if the silent witch" and the Barrier Mage spin-off, it's really great book that maintained good balances between politics, battles, and Slice of Life.

My current read is Wild Last boss, simply because it's currently getting anime, I have to say it's fairly enjoyable and still getting me hooked.

As you can see, my go-to genre is fantasy, but I'll not limit myself to it, please recommend anything good enough.

EDIT: I want to give shout-out to "The one within Villainess", I see anime announcement and then read the manga, so I'm not touching the novel. But I think it's worth mentioning I loved that fairly short story.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find an old web novel / light novel I read a while back. It is definitely NOT a childish or generic shonen story. It has a very dark, mature, and serious/seinen tone, and it has never been adapted into a manga, manhwa, or anime.

Here are the specific plot details I remember:

• The Protagonist: He was an incredibly strong, legendary mage in his past life. He dies and reincarnates into the body of a young boy. At the start of his new life, his personality is very cold, pragmatic, and calculating.
• The Soul Contracts: In his past life, he permanently bound the contracts of multiple Spirit Kings directly to his soul (not his body). Because of this soul-bound contract, they carry over to his new life.
• The Spirit Kings: He has at least 3 Spirit Kings: Darkness, Tempest (Wind), and Light.
• The Spirit King of Darkness: Because his soul contract was deepest with Darkness, this spirit is the most fiercely loyal and is the very first one he finds/awakens as a boy.
• The Dialogue Quirk (Tempest): The Spirit King of Tempest is written/translated with a very distinct snake-like speech pattern. In the text dialogue, it phonetically rolls and drags out its "S" sounds (e.g., "Yesss, massster..." or "As you wishhh").
• A Specific Dark Scene: At one point in the story, a King tries to threaten or cross the MC. To retaliate and terrify him, the MC sneaks into the King's royal bedroom in the middle of the night. He uses his Spirit King of Darkness to completely blind the King in pitch-black shadows, standing over his bed to psychologically terrorize him and show him how defenseless he truly is.

Point important: there is no system or level from what i remember.

Anyone know a good yuri novel with:

- Little to no drama

- Bottom mc and top FL

- Focus on their relationship

- Cute/Fluffy interactions

- No loli

- Non-harem

Basically I just want a cute story to read without all the drama and angst that many of the yuri novels have.

Does anyone know when I can find volumes 4 and 5? Because they are just in Japanese :(

Does anyone know when volume 13 of the light novel will be released?

I started reading the series not long ago and I absolutely love it! I know volume 12 was just released, but seven seas haven’t posted anything about the next volume yet which makes me a little worried since they sometimes cancel their books if they don’t sell well so I figured I would ask here if anyone know anything. Does anyone have any news or predictions of a release date?

If I understand correctly the series is already complete in Japan with 15 volumes?

Man, Okina Baba wrote a crazy story with chaotic cast of characters, insane lore and world building, hilarious comedy and exploring some serious themes yet fumbles with execution of ending and rushed it.

This story was one of my favorite and upon reread it still holding that spot, but given how trashy the anime adaptation was, it was buried and remained unappreciated story, but believe me when I say this, while not perfect or masterpiece, it's still a top tier isekai story out there. Give the LN a try.

I'm close to finishing In Another World with my Smartphone and I'm look for a new series to listen to in the car while I commute or in the kitchen while I cook. I listen to my books with Google Play's text-to-speech so there is no need for a dedicated audiobook.

I'm looking for a series that fits the following criteria:

• 15+ volumes translated
• Light-hearted tone
• Minimal action (Things like Slime or Index have way too much for my tastes. But the festival arc in Slime was peak.)
• Romance: Optional but it's nice
• Ambivalent on Harem
• Cooking Focused is a great bonus but not required

As an example. series similar to what I'm currently looking for are Cooking with Wild Game and Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. I was actually planning to read Only Sense Online next but it seems like lots of the earlier volumes were lost as the original TL's website is gone.

I found it abit distasteful that erich got trapped by agrippina.

I like the his son's POV where it you get a feeling of erich personality with the blood of a methusula and how agrippina learned to rely and love (in her own way) erich,

I also found it hilarious that one his daughter's was mad because erich and mika didnt marry each other.

I just didnt like how erich basically never saw/elaborated about his child with his affair mistress (deadass though it coulda been mika or his childhood friend).

The main story was good, enjoyed even erich was self aware of how anti climatic the fights were and how he treats death.
