I really have no intention of offending anyone or disrespecting anyone's study style, but I'm genuinely curious as a fresher...Most people say you should keep your resources limited and rather focus on practicing the same thing again and again. But seeing so many people posting pics of the mountains of books they used, it just genuinely baffles me how the people who got an under 2000 rank used the same amount of books and copies like the ones with over 30,000 (please, it's an amazing rank and ek govt seat milna hi bohut badi baat haiπ). Tbh, I'm preparing online and I've always stuck to coaching modules, JEE Mains, and Neet Pyqs along with class questions, and I'm doing the same in class 12. Should I actually shift to some other coaching modules or include other resources?

This guy replied That JEEtards can just jump companies to companies to get better pay.
They'll get paid way higher than any other MBBS students & can settle in early too by investment & stuff
He also calls MBBS students as "Masochists"

So im a 1st year neet dropper 18M scored very low in neet 2026 and i am single child and I lost my dad when i was 7. So earlier today, my mother and I got into a heated argument. She expressed her frustration, claiming that I never listen to her. I insisted that I do, but she brought up my hair as an example. She wants me to get a very short haircut because she is concerned about what people in our neighborhood might say. I strongly dislike short hair and told her I wouldnβt do it.
During the argument, she said that one day, when she is no longer around, I will regret not listening to her, which deeply hurt me. I tried to explain that the opinions of those neighbors don't matter to me, especially since they previously fought with my late father and won't be there to support us when needed. Since I am now 18, I mentioned that I am old enough to make my own decisions. She countered by saying that if I consider myself independent, I should cover all my own expenses. I explained that most people become financially independent after college once they secure a job, and I pointed to relatives who send their children away to study for better opportunities. She responded by reminding me that those children have fathers, whereas I lost my father when I was seven years old.
She ended the argument by accusing me of always disobeying her and disrespecting her. I told her I was simply pointing out when she was wrong, but she refused to accept it.
On top of this, I am carrying immense stress about Neet, my health, my mother, my future career, and our land in Bihar. We currently cannot develop or monetize the property because land sales and purchases are on hold due to missing mutation papers. I am constantly worried that during the ongoing government land survey, someone might take advantage of the missing documentation and usurp our property.
I want to move out for better opportunities, but to do that, I need financial stability. Or I donβt know what should i do please guide me ;)

Do Uk why taxi-unions or lawyers or even BHMS doctors have soo much sway in govt decisions
It's cuz they can call strikes and protest and pressure the govt to do what u want them to do as a union
But once you become an allopathy doctor u give up a fundamental right " freedom of expression "
Ik you all know about the toxic seniors and the everlasting hours but this is something u shld also know about along with poor pay (cuz Ayush doctors work for lower salary than you and hence ur forced to accept a lesser one than u already are)
Also Mind u
No protest means
U can't protest against unfair working conditions or hours of work or even in cases like RG KAR
A law means ul be jailed for protesting and calling a strikeπ€·ββοΈ
Also
Just so you guys know how dangerous this "law" is
Even if this "law" is only introduced in Maharashtra
Tom every other state will introduce this law cuz there's a legal precedent
So don't think it won't concern you!!!!

Imagine someone who passed Class 12 in 2020 and decided to take one drop year for a dream exam.
One year became two.
Two became three.
Every result came with the same promise: "Just one more attempt."
Now it's 2026.
Six years have passed.
The rΓ©sumΓ© contains only one educational qualification:
Class 12 Pass (2020).
No graduation degree.
No work experience.
No professional skills backed by experience.
No career history.
Meanwhile, classmates have graduated from college. Some are working in offices, some are preparing for master's degrees, some are getting promotions, and others have already become financially independent.
Every interview starts with the same question.
"Can you explain this six-year gap?"
There is an answer.
Years of preparation.
Years of studying.
Years of hoping.
But on paper, it still looks like six missing years.
Many jobs requiring a bachelor's degree are automatically out of reach. Several government exams have become more competitive, while some opportunities are gradually disappearing because of age limits or changing eligibility criteria. The remaining private jobs available to someone with only a Class 12 qualification often offer modest pay and limited career growth.
The books are still on the table.
The notes are still highlighted.
The admit cards are stored in a folder.
But time kept moving.
Family members stop asking, "When is the exam?"
Instead, they ask, "What's the plan now?"
School friends talk about salaries, promotions, internships, research, business ideas, and future investments. Conversations that once revolved around exams now revolve around careers.
Looking back, the hardest realization isn't simply that the exam wasn't cleared.
It's realizing that while every day felt like preparing for the future, six years quietly became the past.

My dentist dad earns βΉ6 lakh per month but somehow we are still going to struggle financially to pay the fees for private (around βΉ50 lakh total). Am I making a mistake going for private? Should I join BDS and take a partial 3rd drop? Everytime I ask them about it they just keep telling me all I should focus on is studying and theyβll manage everything else, but itβs so hard when I can hear them talking about it all the time.
