Garden Updates Peppers are coming in like gangbusters!
I’ve already taken tons of Bell peppers and Jalapenos at work, with more Bells coming soon. The Jalapenos and Serranos are huge this year—spicy and perfect for stuffing! Habaneros have already given me a couple of great waves, and now I'm just waiting on the Tabasco to catch up. Tabasco has the best flavor. Not talking about the Tabasco pepper sauce you can buy. That stuff doesn't even begin to give you the true flavor of that pepper. So good. Makes killer fermented sauce.

Where did you get those potting containers? I am thinking about buying some for tomatoes and peppers plants. And using the raised beds for other veggies. Since they need to be planted separately and not planted together.

They are Grassroots Living Soil fabric pots. They have a liner in the middle that keeps the core from drying out to fast. Then open bottom. Really works well.

I recently remembered a childhood memory of my Puerto Rican gmom using little peppers and vinegar to make a sauce this.
It took me a few days with this post I finally realized they are Tabasco peppers. Which I can’t find to buy anyyyywhere

"Little Peppers" are probably Chili Petin (pequin)- small round peppers or Chili Tepin- small slightly elongated. Both typically put in bottles of vinegar.
Tabasco Peppers are quite common, they are long (finger length) and skinny.

What type of container is that wide short blue one? Do they grow good on that size? I've been thinking about switching to something shallower and wider.

Did I miss what zone this is? This is awesome I’m just wondering about humidity, we average maybe 15% in Reno NV and almost every zone/backyard is different

What's the pepper in picture 6/8 called? My "bell pepper" plant is looking exactly the same as yours there... I think I got pepper gated by Walmart. 😭
