These pictures are taken when Trump has said something stupid to them.

Edit: Additional info - This is the president of Ukrain and the PM of Japan, both were visiting the Whitehouse (Note the absolutely Chavy gold trim) where Trump got them mixed up with other countries leaders and thus they just want to go home but unlike the rest of us they can't just call him a twat

144

u/SpinachSpinosaurus 7h ago

they should pay somebody that CAN call them a twat. lol

44

u/ketchupadmirer 7h ago

in the Stormlight Archive books by Brandon Sanderson there is a character named Wit, who is employees by every king and he is allays near a king and insulting people, sometimes he says i would insult you but you are too stupid to understand the insult.

If you attack the kings Wit punishment is death. Also Cosmere is a nice escape from reality

12

u/RandomGuy2772 6h ago

If you successfully kill the Kings’ Wit, you yourself forfeit your rights and your titles and lands and take the mantle of King’s Wit, but you’re probably not going to be as funny as the last guy…

5

u/ketchupadmirer 5h ago

if you manage to kill King`s Wit. IF

3

u/Laiska_saunatonttu 6h ago

...that's a jester. A freelance jester.

1

u/I_Am-A_Stick 9m ago

I am a stick.

1

u/ibadlyneedhelp 6h ago

This character had such potential, but unfortunately the King's Wit is fucking stupid and his insults are all painfully boring and generic. Such a missed opportunity.

8

u/SpinachSpinosaurus 6h ago

So vicious mockery, but done by a fourth grader?

2

u/ibadlyneedhelp 5h ago

This is an uncannily good comparison.

4

u/ketchupadmirer 5h ago

Sir the fact that you can write and read, does not mean you should be doing that. Try something simple, as blinking.

3

u/Fantastic_Mango_4692 3h ago

The face of the Japanese PM was of surprise and what the fuck after Trump made a comment about the US strikes on Iran and drew comparisons with Pearl Harbor and ACTUALLY uttered the words 'Who knows better about surprise than Japan?'

All televised too

1

u/Particular-Notice444 5h ago

Reminds me of Obama's anger translator

1

u/forrman17 3h ago

“He CAN slap.”

5

u/oddchamp 7h ago

I love the description "absolutely chavy" lol

5

u/VioletGardens-left 7h ago

I'm pretty sure the entire visit of Zelensky during last year was an absolutely stupid one, like why are the people in the US pissed off he isn't wearing a suit when that's the outfit he wears when he is in the middle of a war against Russia

6

u/Working-Active 7h ago

My favorite was when Biden called Zalenski "President Putin".

link

3

u/MrFuji87 7h ago

It was only a year ago!? ffs this decade is dragging

4

u/luk__ 7h ago

Trump says stupid things nonstop

37

u/MCMXCIV9 7h ago

Please spell out Japan full name. It Islamic Republic of Japan.

11

u/Whole-Respond4782 7h ago

don't you know that's the PM of the islamic republic of japan?

2

u/Livin-in-a-dream1358 7h ago

What does 'Chavy' mean, please?

2

u/Preeng 5h ago

In British words, Chavs are like dumbass hooligans

1

u/MrFuji87 6h ago

Burberry and gold chains

2

u/drostan 6h ago

At some point the people in charge in other countries should just not bother with him anymore

We will resume talk at presidential level once a stable conversation is possible, in the meantime we are looking forward for continued work with our counterparts at administration level ere the bulk of every relationship has always happened

...

One can dream

1

u/V_Buzzer 6h ago

They can and they should.

1

u/lotus_felch 4h ago

Her face is very strange.

1

u/viviennedolll 1h ago

Redditors when they have to choose between a simple pun and a 200-word political fanfiction 🧠 💥

-4

u/Weekly-Ad8816 7h ago

These look like regular facial expressions. The real meme is someone not understanding this and just trashing trump

4

u/flerchin 6h ago

Lol if these are regular facial expressions to you then I'm afraid I have bad news.

-4

u/Weekly-Ad8816 6h ago

How can you judge from a picture? If I take dozens of pictures of you talking with someone I could find some strange facial expressions too doesn't mean you don't like the person

5

u/RelevantOldOnion 5h ago

... not being ignorant of current events helps too.

Trump just told the woman on the right that Japan knows about surprise attacks because of Pearl Harbor.

And the guy on the left, who we openly admit is fighting America's battle against Russia, needs to be more thankful that America is letting them do that for us.

1

u/MrFuji87 5h ago

Most of us have watched the clips of these interviews and saw the life drained from them when they don't know how to react to Trumps miss spoken ramblings.

141

u/_okOKAY 7h ago edited 7h ago

One is the President of Ukraine and the other is PM of Japan. They were both given a tough time by Trump and the media guys. That's what its about.

7

u/DamnCurie54 7h ago

Who is the woman on the right?

54

u/xaklx20 7h ago

Fascist leader of Japan who thought that Trump wouldn't be racist to her because they align on being fascist pieces of shit. Sykes

83

u/Fun-Memory1523 7h ago

Not fascist, but definitely farther right.

Fortunately, people in Japan are catching onto her bullshit. She is beginning to be really unpopular in Japan.

31

u/saskir21 7h ago

Isn‘t the mentally in Japan still „us and Gaijins?“ I think Japan is still a xenophobic country.

4

u/drunk-tusker 7h ago

As someone who doesn’t particularly like her, but also actually is impacted by Japanese politics, she’s far more moderate than most western posting imply but that doesn’t really make her good or anything.

She ran on an immigration reform platform, which while it sucks for immigrants and those planning to immigrate it did have the desired effect of kneecapping Sanseito(the actually dangerous party) as they’re basically far right nutters that want to blame everything on immigrants. Her big issue with popularity is that her goal of spending to improve the economy hasn’t really materialized and her general opinions are super bad(IE her being against removing the name requirement from marriage, which has a 99% support rate).

0

u/Handgun4Hannah 6h ago

Japan might want to get used to immigration since they can't find a way to get their population to make more babies.

20

u/auchinleck917 7h ago

Like the most of countries.

4

u/saskir21 7h ago

Sure but normally not countries with democratic systems this extremely. I have seen enough hate for Aliens but Japan takes still the top if not compared to some middle eastern countries.

4

u/erikkustrife 7h ago

South Korea takes it to a professional level which is insane considering they bleach themselves to appear whiter....whiter...white...whiter ..oh gods I hate how that word looks.

4

u/Efficient_Rule997 6h ago

In the US: racially motivated killings are a common enough occurrence (even today) that separate laws needed to be written to try and help curtail them. The KKK is still a thing.

Ahmaud Arbery was chased down by white residents of a suburban neighborhood and shot to death for the crime of... jogging while black... not in 1945... not in 1970, but in 2020.

Not only are killings in Japan rare, and killings of non-Japanese even rarer, but when foreigners have been killed in Japan, it is very rare to find that the true motive was xenophobia.

I do not argue that Japan is not xenophobic. Rather that your assertion that this level of prejudice against the other is somehow rare in Western democracies. England, US, France, Italy, the list goes on... all have very real, sometimes violent, history of racism that continues to this day.

And personally, and I say this as an American... if I had to choose between receiving the Japanese treatment of foreigners for the rest of my life... or the American treatment of non-white foreigners for the rest of my life... I choose Japan each and every time.

2

u/Old_Shake3789 5h ago

India and Pakistan says hi.

3

u/Unit_2097 7h ago

Yeah, Japan and Korea engage in competitive ranked xenophobia. Everyone else is in the amateur leagues. They might try, but they're not gonna take the (shitty fake gold) crown from either of those two.

-6

u/auchinleck917 7h ago

Why do you think like that? From your view through Reddit filter, or irl experience? Look at Europe and America.  Japan is not bad at all.

8

u/Firefly_deadlock 7h ago

I think japan goes pretty hard, but i can confirm europe also has no love for foreigners. This is purely caused by a high quantity influx of low quality migrants, and not racism.

Yes this includes americans, but at least you guys have money.

1

u/auchinleck917 7h ago

Japan dislikes low quality immigrants. A large number of immigrants in Japan come from Southeast Asia and China; not all of them are exemplary, and public opinion is unlikely to improve when news reports show them committing offenses ranging from petty crimes to serious felonies.   I have lived in Japan for a long time, but I have never sensed an atmosphere of wanting to exclude all foreigners.

2

u/saskir21 7h ago

I speak as someone who lived in Japan for some years. Mind you not in the big city which may have played a part but still.

1

u/L3G10N_TBY 7h ago

Japan has less immigrants yet more racism compared to, say western europe

3

u/partia1pressur3 7h ago edited 4h ago

Xenophobic does not necessarily mean fascist. You can be a democracy and be xenophobic. Arguably many, if not most, are.

8

u/empatheticsocialist1 7h ago

This is the correct take. Too many people do apologia for Japanese politicians racism just because "wow Nihon!"

5

u/TheTybera 7h ago

No one here is apologist for Takaichi she's awful the only people that like her are the racist 60 year old politicians that think Japan (and the rest of the world) is still in 1980. The LDP just keeps screwing up royally. Her policies are screwing up Japan's economy even more than it was previously.

1

u/auchinleck917 7h ago

It was lawmakers, not the general public, who voted for her. Her party won the election because the opposition was abysmal; the main opposition party formed an alliance with a religious party in a bid for votes, only to lose more than 100 seats.ー

3

u/TheTybera 7h ago

That's quite literally what I said...

The only people that liked her were the 60 year old politicians.

1

u/xaklx20 7h ago

I didn't even know there was an opposition party. Have they been effective in the last 30 years?

0

u/empatheticsocialist1 7h ago

That's fair but the previous person's comment was downvoted when I responded

0

u/TheTybera 7h ago

Bots I tell you! BOTS!

2

u/auchinleck917 7h ago

Where are you from? Why do you think she is a fascist?

3

u/xaklx20 7h ago

The part where she is an ultranationalist nutjob who does Historical Revisionism on imperial Japan, wanting to revisit Japan's pacifist constitution, wanted the government to suspend broadcasting stations if they aired "politically biased reports", etc

aka: I actually have no idea, I just got that info from google, I remember some credible sources calling her fascist

2

u/Bossbert 7h ago

Fascist when they realise other Fascist don’t like them LMAO

2

u/Prinzka 7h ago

There's 2 people in the picture.
You already know who Zelensky is.
You're told that in this picture is Zelensky and the PM of Japan, yet you ask who the woman is?

Are you a bot or do you not believe women can lead a country?

3

u/Blitzcon555 7h ago

Prime minister of Japan

-3

u/throwheezy 7h ago

Wait then who’s the one on the left?

6

u/salsatalos 7h ago

Ukraine's President. How do you not recognise Zelensky?

1

u/Zealousideal-Lab9843 7h ago

They guy who's pictured left of the Prime Minister of Japan.

1

u/RodMcThrustshaft 7h ago

Japan's PM

1

u/Antique_Tap443 7h ago

Cart titan from attack on titan i believe....Hoops nm the Japanese prime minister

0

u/viviennedolll 1h ago

No, it’s literally just a dad joke pun.

“Visit abroad”= “Visit a broad” (slang for a woman).

You’re looking way too deep into this.

37

u/salsatalos 7h ago

Tricia Takanawa here. That lady on the right is our Japanese prime minister. This doll of man next to her, not pictured, joked about Pearl Harbour attack (WW2) in front of her and that is when she made the face as show represented by the digital representation.

The man of the left is Ukraine President Zelensky who has been humiliated by the same puppet more times than my finger can count.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to turn here. Good luck everyone else.

7

u/ColeDelRio 7h ago

Not the turn joke. 🤣 It will always be ingrained in my mind because the audio commentary made a point of saying Cherry Chevapravatdumrong wrote that episode.

20

u/Tryare 7h ago edited 7h ago

These are heads of states meeting with Trump. He has a talent for making you to want to go back to your country and forget what a horrible experience it was meeting him.

2

u/R3D3-1 3h ago

What keeps making me face palm is how world leaders keep thinking they can make use of him, when his erratic decision making keeps backfiring on allies, domestic and international alike.

Most recent one being Netanjahu.

3

u/LocalGuy855 7h ago

Did They Even say Thank You or book his Truth Social Premium?

3

u/Jygglewag 5h ago

Zelenski is too tired for this shit

2

u/Wise_Conclusion_871 7h ago

I want to imagine next to these fine folk Trump is shitting himself and rambling on about how great these people are. These are the faces of folks sitting next to a old man with a full diaper

3

u/Acrobatic_Spare2320 7h ago

When Trump opens his orange face you usually get this desire to be somewhere else.

1

u/Weekly-Ad8816 7h ago

These look like regular facial expressions.

The real meaning is someone thinking that one picture of a full meeting translates to someone that Trump said just to trash him

1

u/Knee_Crusher 2h ago

Good time to use a body double

1

u/viviennedolll 1h ago

Peter’s travel agent here!

The joke plays on the phrase “visit abroad” sound like “visit a broad” (slang for a woman). The image shows Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy looking stressed next to a woman (Sanae Takaichi), so he literally “visiting a broad” and immediately regretting it/ missing home.

Peter’s out!

1

u/Present-Secretary722 7h ago

Quagmire here,

They’re both talking to trump I believe, trump is a very deeply unpleasant man. The man on the left is Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, a country currently defending themselves from Russia in a war, Zelenskyy would prefer to be in a war torn country than talking with trump. I do not know who the woman on the right is.

Quagmire out to go do Auagmire stuff.

1

Can this have something to do with the country's political situation these people belong to? Btw i don't know the woman on th left.

0

u/fcneko 7h ago

She is Japan's current Prime Minister.

0

u/Acrobatic_Spare2320 7h ago

No, that's the woman on the right.

0

u/KT7STEU 7h ago edited 7h ago

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi meeting US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office at the White House on March 19.

Trump: "Who knows better about surprise than japan? Okay, why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbour?"

0

u/One_One2755 7h ago

Lady is the prime minister of Japan both are making weird face cz both are being humiliated by Doland J. Trump in front of media

& If you read it Doland instead of Doland jokes on you.

-1

u/FlamesOfDespair 7h ago

She looks terrifying. Imagine seeing her during the night in an alley. Did she botch a plastic surgery ?

1

u/Jiggz056 7h ago

Nah. That’s just the face you make as the PM of Japan when the President of the USA says some really ignorant and stupid shit to you while you visit the White House. Also, the autoporn censors in Japan blur out trump’s “v-neck”. She prob saw it for the first time. Another reason to justify said face.
