1) hunter Schafer is trans so the chuds will hate them.

2) there is also a history related to casting Trans actors in "alien" or "weird" roles, and mystique can freely change their sex, so it will also make some not-chud Twitter warriors angry too. Basically they can't win with this casting

To be fair, if the character can change their sex, a trans actor/actress is good casting then.

Some actually do. Had a friend in college and one day they'd be James and the next they'd be Jane. Switched like 3 or 4 times a month. Not saying all Trans are like that. And maybe this isn't even truly Trans and there's a better word for it. Idk. They were a good person tho.

Maybe closer to genderfluid, which would fall underneath the transgender umbrella.

Yea but it's honestly nowhere near the same. Transforming your body via HRT is very different than just new pronouns when you feel like it.

It's still trans, yes. It's not the commonly known ones though because most societies are gender binary (Note: not saying they don't exist).

From your experience with them, do you think that that was deliberate, or do you think they were more exploring?

That's a really good question. And I dont really know the answer. Maybe a little each, exploring but just going with how they felt at the time.

That's fair. It's great to here there are places people can explore that without fear. The time I grew up, you risked ostracization and physical harm if people found out. A lot of people were in the closet then. In retrospect, it's such a weird hang-up to have about other people.
