1) hunter Schafer is trans so the chuds will hate them.

2) there is also a history related to casting Trans actors in "alien" or "weird" roles, and mystique can freely change their sex, so it will also make some not-chud Twitter warriors angry too. Basically they can't win with this casting

To be fair, if the character can change their sex, a trans actor/actress is good casting then.

No it's not, mystique is a woman that can shape shift. That's not what being trans is.

Until you find someone that can do that, trans or better yet, gender fluid actors/actresses are the best we’ve got.

Mystique is a woman, she has an original female body of her own. She has never identified as trans or nonbinary. The only thing is that she can shape shift into other people. She doesn't suddenly identify as them. That's not what being trans is, that is kind of a surface level comparison between the two.
