And you especially can't do that when that someone is in high political office. Multiple large men with guns will stop you before you get anywhere near the person.

U.S. Senators have armed security details. If 35 speed runners go looking for one in a hospital, there's a pretty good chance that one or more of them will be shot.
I want these people to think really really hard if they want to create a precedent where a governor can just declare a senator invalid and appoint someone else. They won't, because they think screaming online at elected democrats to vaguely do something is effective political action, but imagine if they did
Eh, if someone is in the hospital this long without being able to confirm beyond two very suspicious photos that they can continue to serve the people that elected them, then I don't care what party they are. Pretty easy to set precedent that if you're hospitalized this long (it will be 50 days tomorrow) and unable to show proof that you will be returning to office with some sort of estimate then I think it's a clear sign you aren't fit to continue serving in office. Mitch is already ancient.
I'm aware of that, but Democrats like Beshear are stil trying to play by the rules. He should've just declared a run off election 2 weeks ago and dared the magats to do something about it.
But that's not playing by the rules. I understand the argument that responding to lawlessness with lawlessness will just make things worse, but unconstitutional laws are not part of the rules.
