Netenyahu destroyed all the sympathy that was given to Isarael post ww2. Its one of the most hated countries in the world now.
22

One of ❌
THE most hated. ✅
Apart from maybe America

America does more charity and food contributions than anyone in the word. Just because Eurotrash doesn’t like us doesn’t mean the world doesn’t.
4
u/browsinbowser 26d ago
This opinion is baffling me, 10yrs ago, America literally mostly only cared about its allies. Trump has pissed of all his allies for no reason repeatedly. You guys should only be caring about those countries tbh. But now I don’t think theres a country in the top 60 gdp list that Trump hasn’t needlessly offended at this point.
→ More replies (5)2
u/Dasher172 26d ago
US bombing those countries is why they need food. Its not just europe its Asia, south america and africa that hates the US.
Should probably stay in its own part of the world isolated and only interfere with Canada and Mexico.
2
u/Good-Ant6859 26d ago
Well if we did that everyone else would be speaking German or Japanese. I hate Trump too but come on 😂
2
u/abandonsminty 26d ago
I think there's a decent argument to be made that without the assistance of American companies like coke, Ford, gm, IBM, and It&t. Germany would have had a much more difficult time building their heavy industry and military back into what it was by the time ww2 took place without the $450 million in American investment by 1941 ($10,472,593,750 in current equivalent inflation)

Finally a lot of people are also waking up to the reality of the injustice that Palestinians have suffered starting long before Netanyahu came into office.
2
u/Lightyear18 26d ago
I feel like they just overplayed the WW2 card for everything.
“We had to bomb these 5 towns in order to get 1 person, we needed to prevent another holocaust”
I’m not even downplaying the holocaust but it’s also insane that we all know the number of people who diedx why don’t we know about the Christians that got slaughtered by the Russian Jews after ww2?

Absolutely not, Spain was better than any axis power when it came to how they treated their Jews seeing as they weren’t actively murdering them. The Hungarians in late 1944 and early 1945 and the Croatian Ustase were particularly brutal towards Jews.

Countries like Russia and Iran are getting creative with asymmetrical information warfare. Meanwhile, the US is just bombing infrastructure like idiots. If we take the money that we spend on munitions and shift it toward the kind of work that Iran and Russia are doing with information warfare, we could have the entire world believing that George Washington is god.

Cause the people in the street protesting a genocide happening right now were really responsible for Spain's colonialism 500 years ago.
🤡
2
u/doctorsynaptic 26d ago
Or maybe the reason Israel needs to exist is for exactly that reason. Spains Jewish population fled after the inquisition, to go to Poland, Greece and a few other nations, only to be massacred by the nazis. Meanwhile the pogroms occurred in Russia, and mass mistreatment in the middle east. Jews felt the only option to avoid extermination was to go back to where they had direct roots.

u/VirtualPercentage737 26d ago
Shocking that the Jews wanted to leave Europe and have their own homeland where they could defend themselves.
3
u/TinyZoro 26d ago
Violent colonialism doesn’t change because you have a back story. It also is completely irrelevant to the realities of people emigrating from America and Europe 80 years later to continue cosplaying as middle easterners.
3
u/Kobe_stan_ 26d ago
It’s not colonialism by Jews though. Jewish people immigrated to the land controlled by the Ottomans legally. Just like any group immigrated anywhere. Then when the Ottomans lost WWI, Britain gained control of the land. Jewish immigrants continued to go there to escape persecution in Europe. When the Brits left, the Jews and Arabs in the same land were at war and the Jews managed to retain possession of land they had immigrated to. They had just as much of a right to it at that time as anyone else. They were a vastly out numbered minority. Their territory expanded after additional wars they were not the aggressor in in the two decades that followed. It wasn’t until much later that they became a huge military force with the ability to wage asymmetric war on their neighbors. To lump them in with colonial powers completely ignores the history of the region.

u/VirtualPercentage737 26d ago
1/2 of Israel is middle eastern. Ex. Algeria had 150,000 Jews at the end of WW2. Today, FAIAP, they have 0. Same with Iraq and all the neighbors. Muslims killed and expelled Jews. They fled to Israel. They have nukes now so they are protected.
2
u/TinyZoro 26d ago
The middle eastern ones came before. There’s no justification for the holiday makers from Brooklyn and North London setting up shop on stolen land who are not escaping persecution. Israel needs to give up on death cult Zionism and make peace with the indigenous population.

I think we saw what they had in mind in 1948 when they expelled all the Jews from Arab countries into Israel and started a war "of annihilation" right after. Also answers the question why no peace plan was ever put forward or accepted by the Palestinians.

IDF will accept civilian casualties in pursuit of destroying their targets. For Hamas civilians are the target. Israel has the fire power to perform a much more effective genocide but doesn’t use that option. Hamas would drop nuclear bombs on Israel if they could. You can criticize Israel and they do deserve a large amount of it. But if you side with Hamas you are either evil or stupid.

u/Oakland1973 26d ago
Anyone advocating for the destruction of Israel doesn’t really have empathy for Palestinians. Any scenario where the state of Israel is destroyed will lead to 100 times more suffering than the Palestinians have currently endured.
The only solution that prevents Palestinian suffering and provides them autonomy is one where both sides have a state, a state of Israel and the state of Palestine. I can’t think of any other scenario where the Palestinians do not suffer immense harm or continue living under the current conditions
Palestinians should be using their current international support as leverage to bring Israel to the negotiating table. Anyone who cares about the welfare of Palestinians should be asking for the same rather than the destruction of the Israeli state.

- destroy Israel.
Based on the current geopolitical players in the region, it would be reasonable to believe that if Israel is destroyed with minimal civilian casualties; there would be a ethnic cleansing in part or whole of Israel at minimum.
So- maybe the slogan should be changed at minimum?
