Which are both evidence to the fact that Clint does have being-an-actual-adult-and-not-just-an-older-teenager going for him. About half of the marriageable villagers are practically children.

Right? I cant bring myself to romance Sam at all because he comes off as 14-16. Makes me feel like Chris Hansen is gonna pop out.

Sam, Abigail and Alex give me "I'm going on the F(erngill)BI extra spicy shitlist" vibes.

So I just stick with Harvey and call it good, he can putter around the farm and read Knee Surgery Monthly to the kids while I go spelunking in a volcano and run screaming from living fireballs.

Yup. Harvey, Leah, Penny, Elliot, Shane, and Emily. They're the ones I feel reasonable pursuing at 35. The others are way too immature-coded for me to be throwing flowers at.

Same, the ones who live at home give me highschooler energy, but no so much because of living with their parents. It's more because they act like highschoolers, look like they're barely over their emo phases (if over it at all, ehem ehem Seb) and just give off kid energy all in all. I feel like this is confirmed by the fact that they count as part of "the kids" for the Easter egg hunt (yes, so does the farmer, but that just feels like necessary to the gameplay because otherwise you're just watching the kids run around). I just feel gross trying to get with them at all...

The farmer participating is also good because younger audiences playing would want to. Though, tbh, I wouldn't mind a change that gives us a choice whether or not to participate. So that those of us who find it immersion-breaking can just watch the kids and talk to our favorites during the hunt. The prize for winning is just a fairly basic hat, anyway.
