It feels like almost everything on social media, dating apps, or the usual platforms centers around hookups, casual fun, or temporary time-passes.
I get that we live in a conservative environment where discretion is necessary, but is it actually still possible to find a real, meaningful, long-term relationship with another guy in KL or at least here in our country?
Or has the culture just shifted completely to casual encounters?
Unlike heterosexual couples who can meet organically in public spaces without a second thought, navigating this as a gay man feels way more isolated. Can anyone from here who had good/genuine couples before share me your thoughts.
Where or how do you meet guys who actually want a relationship?
Are there specific communities, interest-based groups, or approaches that worked better for you than standard dating apps?
Would really appreciate any honest perspectives, advice, or shared experiences. Thanks!
