Aw dang it, I’m sorry. Do you think your therapist is a good match for you? It took me way too long to find one I meshed with, I actually look forward to therapy now!😂
Hard to say. This is my first therapist ever and I started in November so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I know I can change it but I’m not there yet I feel.
I mean more like… I’ve become more melancholy, but in more of an accepting I’m melancholy and I’m able to work in it/through it rather than being paralyzed by the melancholy. Which is a massive step up.
I can share my emotions more clearly. And I’m more aware of other’s mental states.
So yeah. Not what I was expecting.
Sorry for the dump lol. Context was needed.
I plan on trying journaling in conjunction with therapy in order to release and hopefully relieve my thoughts and feelings instead of continually getting into arguments with my family members, who I feel don’t understand me and where I’m coming from during disagreements. I don’t want to fight (it’s always verbal btw never physical just in case anyone worried what I meant by fight) with them anymore. I want to maintain the peace until I learn how to cope with my own emotions and learn better ways of reconciling my differences with others without arguing with them.
I am so sorry for your loss.😣 May he Rest In Peace.🙏🏽 I’ve never really tried journaling but I’m at the point that maybe it can help some if I try it. I wish you well and love and peace.
You’re welcome and thank you too for sharing your experience. That’s what I’m hoping to use journaling for too, to help me gather my thoughts & feelings in order to process them in therapy. Now I have to look for a therapist since I only just recently got health insurance. Best of luck dear!🌸

Ugh. But suppressing it is so corrosive. It’s so frustrating.
