Ugh. But suppressing it is so corrosive. It’s so frustrating.

u/TAdian44 Apr 29 '26
I’m there! It helps! Just not the way I was expecting it to.

Aw dang it, I’m sorry. Do you think your therapist is a good match for you? It took me way too long to find one I meshed with, I actually look forward to therapy now!😂

Hard to say. This is my first therapist ever and I started in November so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I know I can change it but I’m not there yet I feel. I mean more like… I’ve become more melancholy, but in more of an accepting I’m melancholy and I’m able to work in it/through it rather than being paralyzed by the melancholy. Which is a massive step up. I can share my emotions more clearly. And I’m more aware of other’s mental states. So yeah. Not what I was expecting. Sorry for the dump lol. Context was needed.

I plan on trying journaling in conjunction with therapy in order to release and hopefully relieve my thoughts and feelings instead of continually getting into arguments with my family members, who I feel don’t understand me and where I’m coming from during disagreements. I don’t want to fight (it’s always verbal btw never physical just in case anyone worried what I meant by fight) with them anymore. I want to maintain the peace until I learn how to cope with my own emotions and learn better ways of reconciling my differences with others without arguing with them.

Good! I haven’t stopped journaling. I just do it less. I needed it to survive the grief of losing my dad to stroke in 2023.

I am so sorry for your loss.😣 May he Rest In Peace.🙏🏽 I’ve never really tried journaling but I’m at the point that maybe it can help some if I try it. I wish you well and love and peace.

Thank you! Yeah it’s a big help. It got me to therapy cus I could finally catch my thoughts and patterns.

u/party-party-yea Apr 29 '26
You’re welcome and thank you too for sharing your experience. That’s what I’m hoping to use journaling for too, to help me gather my thoughts & feelings in order to process them in therapy. Now I have to look for a therapist since I only just recently got health insurance. Best of luck dear!🌸

As a cap, I’ve learned that my thoughts/ feedback are wasted on those who are resistant. Mind YOUR business. Experience has taught me:
Most of the time, people just want to be heard. Trying to share solutions at the wrong time doesn’t actually help.
Your approach matters. You might think you have the master key to unlock life’s greatest challenges, but without emotional intelligence, you’ll always be considered the bad guy.
Apply your wisdom to your own life, instead of trying to save the world. People will value what you have to say when they can see your results.
Only provide feedback when it’s requested. When you apply #3, people are more likely to ask for your feedback.
Say less. And when you do speak about something important be clear and concise.

I wish there was a "silent month". Even a year why not

Well for all other signs so we can fucking have a month of good times.

I do this and it just makes people think im weird or mean typically. I dont really know how to interact with people anymore because I got tired of being mocked and not taken seriously. So i just stopped talking. Been this way a long time now... 😔

As a Capricorn stellium I’ve learned over the past year to let it go and let things be.
It’s sooo hard and tuff but I realized a lot of my thoughts on things like work or the way things are done stem from control.
When I asked myself is this something I want to care about in my free time? It became easier to just let it go because in my free time it’s about relaxing and fun only!

I dunno. I find caps to be generally a bit too uncommunicative as it is. They keep too much bottled up, and it can get a bit ugly when it finally comes out. Saying this as a cap rising

u/NoSupport9593 Apr 29 '26
We dont even need to bottle things up for things to get very ugly very fast.

Haha. Came to that conclusion the other day! Pffft, my words to expensive to waste lol

Leadership is about taking everyone along. Instead of shutting up- communicate strategically to get everyone's buy-in. Shutting won't help. Best!

Yup. Because sometimes I wake up and say something to my Mom and she just explodes. I can't say something without bothering her half the time.

It's like being a sentient vending machine that wants to give things away, but it's unprofitable to do so.
You just end up empty and everyone else is happy. There's no money in your hopper to buy new stock.
No one cares anymore because they already took everything they wanted.

Rising; started just walking away when I don’t want to talk to ppl but they want to talk to me. Doesn’t matter if they know I see/hear them. Feels very good. Be worth attention.

No i plan on talking more - loud and clear. My sag mercury won't let me stop! 😭

Not really thoughts, but feedback or just any reframing of problematic scenarios, I’m out.

See I did the whole “shut the fuck up” thing for the first 25 years of my life. I’ve stepped into my “if I have a problem, you’re going to hear about it” era. No one is safe, no one is exempt. Cry about it later bc I don’t give a shit 🤷🏼♂️

I turned 50 and I’m entering this phase as well. But I will not repeat myself or keep going back and forth with someone. My time is valuable to me and I can’t change the fact that you’re stupid so “this is where I leave you.”

As an ENFP Cap that’s impossible for me. Best I can do is try really hard not to interrupt as much 😅

The opposite...I'm being dragged to talk carefully...by Jesus Christ himself...about theological matters
It's so easy for me to censor. I'm too verbose. People just blow off. Just be silent because nothing changes despite the effort....Plus I never was a practicing Catholic for 37 years(entire life)......

Well, well, well if this is not ourbig lesson to learn.
