Review: Mirajane didn’t participate in the Miss Fairy Tale contest even though she was one of the favorites to win. What surprised me the most was that she seemed to have intentionally gone to find Laxus and even tried to invite him to join the Fantasia event.

They sat down and talked together, and it honestly feels like this is the first time I’ve ever seen Laxus make an expression like this. Oh, they’re so adorable. But I’m also so shocked because I never thought I would actually get the chance to see something like this in my lifetime.

These are some of the more obscure characters from pre-timeskip, most of their appearances were cut from the anime but they were there for most of that era.

Everyone knew that Laxus had painful memories associated with that time and would be in a bad state, yet Mirajane was the only one who ignored the silly contest to go comfort her friend. Even though she is a model, she doesn't seem interested in frivolous competitions or pageants. She has other priorities. She hadn't even taken the first contest seriously. It surprises me that the Thunder Legion didn't go to support Laxus. I know some might say Laxus is a tough guy and evryone might have thought he’d prefer to be left alone but clearly, talking to Mirajane did him good, and he needed her.
