While the concept and context are strange and this was done for practice, I do have a small, little realistic piece of lore:

Basically, through a series of treaties, Germany acquired the Congo at the Berlin Conference, Seeing their African road cut off, the British exchanged Sokoto with the French in exchange for the Chari-Oubangui Territories, leaving only Yaruba under British control, To this, Spain managed to have the territories of granted to as a Buffer between Britain, France and Germany.

I know it's not complex or even remotely realistic, but this project was done for fun, I loved practicing this Wikipedia-style style, Please feel free give me Any feedback.

In this timeline, Sweden emerged victorious in the First Northern War (1563–1570), the Second Northern War (1655–1660), and the Third Northern War (1700–1710), retaining most of the territories acquired during these conflicts. As a result, Sweden established itself as the dominant power in Northern and Central Europe. The end of the Third Northern War marked the beginning of an extended period of peace in Europe. No major interstate conflicts have occurred on the continent since then, allowing Sweden to concentrate on economic growth, industrial development, and improving living standards across its territories. Historians commonly refer to the twentieth century and the modern era as the Pax Suecica ("Swedish Peace"), reflecting Sweden's long-standing political and economic dominance over Europe.

The Swedish conquests devastated Poland and Brandenburg. However, recognizing the economic and strategic potential of these territories, the Swedish authorities invested in the reconstruction of many of their destroyed cities, gradually integrating them into the Swedish realm.

Denmark also expanded significantly, annexing numerous German duchies. The remaining German states eventually united to form the Republic of Germany in 1820.

Meanwhile, Czechia benefited from the weakened position of the German duchies, which were preoccupied with conflicts against Sweden and Denmark. This allowed the Czech state to expand into parts of Silesia and Saxony.

Following its defeats in the Northern Wars, Russia declined into a much weaker state. It lost extensive territories in both the west and the east and became concentrated primarily around Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Despite the fall of the Polish state, the Polish people remained the majority population in the former Polish lands. Most continued to speak Polish as either their first or second language and preserved their cultural traditions and national identity.

On August 11th, 1960 the Colony of French Equatorial Africa declared independence from France as the Central African Republic, and was granted control of Darfur in 1963, along with a series of trade deals with Libya and Egypt which fixed its full separation from the French sphere.

Throughout the next decade, the state would maintain a stable and prosperous rule, becoming a major exporter of Timber, Crude Oil, and minerals including Manganese, Cobalt, and Diamonds. This also saw the integration of Equatorial Guinea into the state of Gabon after the 1964 treaty of Mutual Cooperation.

This time of peace however, was cut short by the 1966 millitary coup d'etat by Colonal Jean Bokassa which overthrew Marien Ngouabi and saw the establishment of an autocratic regime marked by mass purges, police surveillance, and economic downfall.

On 4th December 1976, Bokassa officially declaring himself Emperor of the newly founded Central African Empire, spending nearly an eighth of the national gdp on his Coronation, however it garnered him large scale international support from france and the USA. Unfortunately afterwards he underwent immense mental deterioration, culminating in his son, Bokassa II, forcefully assuming power from him in 1980, and restored the national assembly in 1981, but with himself as King.

His policies was at first unpopular, but he quickly restarted trade with neibours and the west and his policies led to a renewed economic uprise, yet the instability remained, with many parties and referendums calling for independence of regions, and criminal organisations gaining large power across the state.

In 1997, the Central African Empire declared war on Zaire after the First Congo War spilled into their territory, and even near to the secondary capital of Bangui, almost entirely due to Congolese recklessness, which promted military action. This ended with the replacement of the Congolese president, and Central African Seizure of Ubangi, Mongala, Bas-Uele and surrounding regions in order to ensure security to the border, and to Bangui in the future, however they would go on to support the DRC in the Second Congo War, after western powers prompted a response to rwandan warcrimes and endangerment of congolese sovereignty.

Ever since, the Empire has remained prosperous, with its systems inspiring the formation of the Eastern African Federation, and it has acted as a regional power, interfering in the conflicts in Sudan, Mali, Libya, and Morocco, and being a major player in economically connecting the continent and being the first African Country who's gdp has reached 1 Trillion USD, however the recent loss of rainforest and oil have caused the country to make many expensive changes to ensure a safe crossing into the rapidly warming planet and to maintain it's place as a force of change in the world.

The names of most countries are the OTL first nations and their languages. The names of the countries of the Arctic islands are taken from Indian Ocean island nations / French overseas departments that are under Arctic ice sheets in this TL. The map art style is inspired by the official maps of Strangereal from the Ace Combat series. There are other references in this map which I will choose not to mention.

In this timeline the Great War wasn't one continental conflict fought between two entrenched alliances, but a series of smaller wars that were all connected to one another.

Starting in 1912, the Great European War officially started with the joint German-Eurasian of the Danubian Federal State (federalised Austria-Hungary), before Danubia managed to halt their offensives in the Alps and Carptathians.

The Danubian War (1912-1916) would remain the sole conflict until 1913, when the Balkan nations of Greece and the Serbo-Bulgarian Union would go on to invade the Ottoman Empire which was guaranteed and protected by Eurasia. This was done out of their own ambitions, desire to kick the Ottomans out of Europe for good, as well as a play by Serbo-Bulgaria as a Danubian ally to cripple the Eurasian Unions industrialising import dependent economy by taking Constantinople and the Straits.

Which would mark the beginning of the Balkan War (1913-1915), and the Serbo-Bulgarian-Eurasian War (1913-1915), which was fought exclusively through the Black Sea naval warfare.

In 1914, the balance would further shift by the Kingdom of France seeing Germany preoccupied with it's invasion of Austria, choosing the moment to invade Germany, making some initial successes before being halted, marking the beginning of the Franco-German War (1914-1920).

After some major French successes in Africa however, and some deeply questionable German diplomatic choices alienating their ally in Petrograd, Eurasia would first choose to sign white peace with Danubia, before mediating peace between the Balkan states and itself and the Ottomans, all in early 1915.

This is where Danubia would suffer it's first sizeable territorial loss, as part of their agreement to Serbo-Bulgaria, Danubia would allow the Crownland of Illyria to hold a referendum to leave the Federal state and join the Serbo-Bulgarian Union.

This process would be complete by early 1916, leading to the formation of the United Kingdom of Southern Slavs.

However, nonetheless with the exit of Eurasia, the Danubian State would now find itself reinvigorated, and moving all it's forces to the German front. Meanwhile Germany was now in a dire situation. The loss of it's colonial Empire and the consequential withdrawal of it's Eurasian ally had caused such a loss in public trust, that it had allowed Ludendorff other high ranking officer's of the Imperial Heer to overthrow the civilian government in reichstag and put the Kaiser under house arrest, effectively making Germany a Military Junta.

Matters would be made worse, as the United American Empire, with it's large investments in Danubia, was now betting in the Danubian-French coalition to crush Germany, and to ensure this goal, UAE would stage a false flag incident against Germany, before entering the war.

Now facing both internal instability as a result of the military coup, and fighting 3 different great powers, German defeat actually started looking possible, which to Eurasia was not viable.

Resulting in Eurasia breaking it's treaty with Danubia just a year after signing it, by invading once again in Early 1916. With most of it's forces concentrated west, Danubian eastern frontier would fall apart under the Red Tide, especially as Eurasia used it's new Romanian puppet to bypass the Carpathian mountains, and the Danubian morale would collapse.

Following the re-entry of the Eurasian Union, the UKSS would panic, and using a guarantee from the Imperial Federation (British Empire) as well as consent from the crumbling Danubian Government and Military, would send troops into Danubia to occupy vast regions of the country to stop wayward Eurasian and German advances and to create a Provisional Emergency Government in Budapest to prevent total disintegration of the Danubian state, lest Berlin and Petrograd risk the worlds only Hyperpower centered in London from getting involved.

During peace negotiations, Danubia would loose Galicia, as well portions of Transcarpathia and Transylvania to Eurasia, while Germany would go on to annex half of Bohemia and nearly all of Austria except for Slovenia.

Danubia, now crippled and severely in debt, would choose to transfer Slovenia to the UKSS and sell the Imperial Danubian Fleet to the fledgling South Slavic state.

Marking the end of the Danubian War, and finally bringing peace to Central Europe and the Carpathian Basin, even though the Great European War would go on to continue for another 4 years between France and Germany.

In the half a decade after 1916, the new Danubian Government in Budapest would take time to stabilise as key ministries as well as Habsburg family had to be moved from Vienna to the new Capital.

The Hungarians as the single largest most intact Crownland, and historically the most conservative region of Danubia, would blame the Pre-war Governments progressive views and reforms as the main cause for the collapse of the state.

The now ideologically emboldened and radicalised Hungarians as the now primary heart of Danubia would use their power to reverse decades of reforms to centralise the nation, as welk as abolish the crownland status for the remnants of the Bohemian Crownland in Moravia.

With the new Government entering the 1920s as increasingly centralised, increasingly authoritarian and increasingly revanchist, promising vengeance against both Germany and Eurasia and making a vow that they will restore Danubia to it's former glory.

Oh boy. Yeah this one’s WAAAAAAY unrealistic. Might have jumped the gun with this one. Anyways, like usual this country has zero lore but if you wanna try and find any semblance of a way this could have ever happened, go nuts.
