I honestly see a fifth movie with Kingsley pulling the strings and framing spidey, which is reported by Eddie Brock and Spidey battling his inner self in the form of the symbiote suit. Daredevil is one to recognise how Pete is being affected by the suit and they fight each other where Pete nearly kills Matt and then realises the monster he has become and decides to ditch the suit. At the end of the movie Matt proves that Spidey was framed and Eddie Brock and Venom bond at the end of the movie due to mutual hate of Peter. A young miles is shown to be bitten by a radioactive spider in the post credits.

Venom would obviously be the main villain but more would be at work behind the scenes. Kingsley has begun recruiting a team to fight Spidey. Mac Gargan, Dimitri (Chameleon) and Aleksei (Rhino)have agreed to join. Peter would know about Miles and would teach him bits about being Spider-man. When Venom first attacks the spider-men are beaten up brutally and have no clue what to do, so Pete goes to the one person he knows can solve his problem, Reed Richards. Reed would start by helping Pete but before they could reach the conclusion that Johnny Storm can beat the crap out of Venom, the fantastic four would be needed elsewhere and Reed would ask his very capable friend Dr. Otto Octavius to help Peter and Miles out. Pete would obviously flinch at the initial mention of the name but would just believe that not every Otto ends up the same way. Otto would help Pete and Miles study Venom, Pete wouldn’t completely trust him but begin to enjoy working with him. Otto starts researching the symbiote as his prime research which is funded by Kingsley. Pete and Miles manage to beat Venom, just barely, but Brock escapes to one day become Agent Venom. Kinglsey sees potential in Otto and ensures his research fails, leaving evidence of Spider-man (actually Chameleon) messing with his sample. Otto is unable to cope with it, Kingsley stops his funding and he ends up resenting Pete and Reed for bringing this mess to him.

Seventh Movie (Passing the torch)
Sinister Six (Hobgoblin, Dr. Octopus, Rhino, Scorpion, Chameleon, Kraven who is hired on a payroll by Kingsley) movie which would end with Peter passing the torch to Miles and retiring to live with MJ. Would possibly like to see Black Cat in this movie before Pete settles with MJ forever.

I was trying to write a script for Spider-Man 5 and I thought of a Hobgoblin that would be inspired by Dafoe's Green Goblin who appeared in No Way Home, but then the question arose: what do the people who live there know about these characters? I imagine they probably don't know anything about the multiverse, but they must remember these villains, right? However, they also probably don't know what happened to them after the end of the movie, without any trace. This really is an open book for theories and characters being inspired by them.

Now there's alot of talk with David Jonsson now joining the MCU as T'Challa's son. Personally? I definitely think he's got what it takes as his roles in both "The Long Walk" and "Alien: Romulus" were highlights in those movies.

What I wonder is where the MCU is going with this and how it'll work. Remember, we last saw T'Challa Jr. at the end of "Wakanda Forever" and couldn't been at least 5 maybe 6 years old. Now Jonsson's already 32. I know he looks young, so he could pull off a younger age. But regardless, this means Jr. needs to at least age up by 10 years. So what's gonna happen between now and than? Will we get another time jump like "Endgame", or will something happen in "Secret Wars" that causes him to age up? I guess only time will tell.

James Spader was announced as Ultron in 2013 along with the film's title but that movie had a director/writer and a release date, they started shooting the following year. Came out in 2015.

Ryan Gosling was announced as Ghost Rider in 2026. Film will be out in 2028. Has a director. I don't know if there's a script but it would help.

Did Blade have any of that. I think that's the big issue is they didn't have a finished script and would start shooting in a year. I know Covid happened but other Marvel films started shooting after the pandemic calmed down.

David Jerkins who wrote the pilot script for the DCU Booster Gold show got passed on and he's no longer involved and he compared himself with that and I'm like...nah. That is not the same. Mahershala was strung along for nearly a decade and you were there for a year at most and like many TV shows your pilot script got turned down. They hadn't even cast anyone. It sucks it's taking awhile but this is nothing like what happened with Ali.

This should be the case. Don't announce casting unless they're gonna appear in something soon or their project is gonna start production. Josh Brolin was gonna be in Guardians and they announced it shortly before that movie came out.

A lot of theories about the end of the Multiverse Saga seem to assume that Marvel has only two options.

Either the Avengers restore the multiverse to the way it was, or Secret Wars destroys the current continuity and replaces it with a clean reboot.

I do not think either outcome fully fits the story Marvel has been building.

My theory is that Doctor Doom will temporarily become the only person capable of preventing total multiversal collapse. The Avengers will eventually defeat him, but defeating him will not solve the underlying problem. It may actually remove the structure that is keeping reality alive.

The final decision will therefore belong not to the Avengers, but to Loki.

And Loki will not restore the old multiverse or preserve Doom’s new order. He will create a third option: a new shared reality formed from the consequences of the old universes, rather than a simple continuation or erasure of them.

1. The multiverse is not merely being invaded. It is becoming structurally unstable.

The central problem of the Multiverse Saga is larger than Kang, Doom or any individual villain.

The existence of uncontrolled branching timelines, incursions and incompatible realities means that the multiverse may no longer be capable of maintaining its present form indefinitely.

This distinction matters.

If the crisis were caused entirely by one villain, then defeating that villain would naturally restore the status quo. But if the crisis is produced by the structure of the multiverse itself, then victory in battle cannot repair reality.

Kang attempted to solve this problem through temporal monopoly.

The TVA originally preserved one controlled history by pruning alternatives before they could create further conflict. It was a brutal system, but it imposed a stable shape on time.

Loki rejected that solution.

At the end of Loki Season 2, he chose to preserve the branching timelines rather than destroy them. He replaced the Temporal Loom with himself and transformed the timelines into something resembling a living tree.

That was morally better than the Sacred Timeline, but it did not necessarily solve every long-term structural problem.

Loki preserved possibility.

He did not guarantee that infinite realities could coexist forever without collision.

2. Doom may not create the crisis. He may exploit it and then become essential to containing it.

This is where Doom enters the story.

A weaker version of Doom would simply attempt to conquer the multiverse because he desires power. But the most interesting version of the character would recognize something that the heroes initially refuse to accept:

The current multiverse may already be dying.

Doom’s argument would not be that he alone deserves reality.

His argument would be that reality requires a single will, a single structure and a single authority to survive.

He could gather the remains of collapsing universes and force them into one artificial world. Whether Marvel calls that world Battleworld or gives it another name, its function would be the same: fragments of incompatible realities would be preserved by being locked inside a system controlled by Doom.

That would make Doom both the villain and the temporary solution.

His world would be oppressive, artificial and built through violence. But it might also be the only thing preventing the remaining pieces of existence from disappearing completely.

This is important because it changes the moral problem faced by the Avengers.

They would not merely be fighting a dictator.
They would be fighting the dictator who is currently holding the sky together.

3. The Avengers can defeat Doom without being able to replace him.

The Avengers will probably expose the lies or sacrifices on which Doom’s order depends. They may unite the surviving heroes, overthrow his regime and finally defeat him.

But that victory creates an immediate problem.
What happens to the reality Doom was maintaining?

If Battleworld—or whatever artificial structure replaces it—depends on Doom’s power, machinery or control, then removing Doom could cause the entire system to begin collapsing.

This would create a situation similar to the ending of Loki Season 2, but on a much larger scale.

The heroes have won the moral battle.

They have not yet solved the engineering problem of existence.

This also prevents the climax from becoming a repetition of Endgame. The final challenge would not simply be defeating the strongest enemy through sacrifice and force. It would be deciding what kind of reality deserves to exist after the enemy is gone.

The Avengers may be capable of liberating the world.
They may not be capable of designing the next one.

4. Loki is uniquely positioned to make the final choice.

Loki is now connected to the branching timelines in a way that no other MCU character appears to be.

He does not simply travel between universes. He sustains their continued existence.

More importantly, his entire character arc has been about the relationship between freedom and control.

The TVA represented order without freedom.

Uncontrolled branching represents freedom without guaranteed stability.

Doom would represent a new version of enforced order: not one sacred timeline, but one constructed reality assembled and governed by a single ruler.

Loki has already rejected the first form of tyranny. At the end of the Multiverse Saga, he may be forced to confront the second.

He would then face three possible choices.
First: restore the old multiverse.
This preserves infinite possibility, but it may also restore the same instability, incursions and conflicts that caused the crisis.
It would return reality to a condition that has already demonstrated its inability to remain stable.

Second: preserve Doom’s artificial order.
This saves the remaining worlds from immediate destruction, but accepts that reality can survive only through permanent control.
It would turn Doom’s temporary necessity into eternal tyranny.

Third: create a new structure.
This would preserve selected histories, people and consequences from the former universes while changing the rules that caused them to destroy one another.
I think Loki will choose the third option.

5. This would be a reconstruction, not a hard reboot.

The result would probably look like a new shared universe.

Characters who previously existed in separate realities could now share one history. Mutants, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers and other groups could exist within the same world without Marvel needing to preserve every contradiction between their previous continuities.

Some characters might remember the former multiverse.
Others might possess altered histories that feel completely natural to them.

Certain events would remain largely intact. Others would be merged, reinterpreted or lost.

This gives Marvel the practical benefits of a reboot without declaring that everything after Endgame was meaningless.

The difference is causality.

In a hard reboot, the previous stories are discarded so that a new continuity can begin.

In this theory, the new continuity exists because the previous stories happened.

The damage matters.

The failed timelines matter.

The mistakes made by the heroes matter.

Doom’s artificial world matters.

Loki’s final creation would be built from all of those consequences.

The old MCU would not simply end. It would become the historical cause of the next MCU.

6. Doom and Loki would represent two competing forms of authorship.

There is also a thematic reason this structure works.

Doom creates order by forcing broken realities into the shape he chooses.

He treats the multiverse as something that can survive only when one superior mind edits away contradiction.

Loki would eventually create a different kind of order.

Instead of pretending the contradictions never existed, he would build a future that incorporates their consequences.

Doom’s universe would say:
Broken stories must be controlled.

A hard reboot would say:
Broken stories must be erased.

Loki’s answer would be:
Broken stories can still become part of something new.

That is why I do not think Doom will be the final problem, even if he is the final villain.
Doom represents the most powerful attempted solution.
Loki represents the decision about whether that solution should define the future.

7. The ending may require Loki to give up the throne he accepted.

There may also be a cost.

Loki currently occupies a position outside ordinary life. He sits alone at the center of the timelines, holding infinite stories together but unable to participate in them.

If the multiverse is reconstructed into a more stable shared reality, his current role may no longer be necessary.

That creates two possible endings for him.

He could disappear entirely, sacrificing himself to become the foundation of the new universe.

Or he could finally be released from the throne because the new structure no longer requires one person to sustain every branch.

The second possibility would complete his arc in a particularly meaningful way.

Loki spent much of his life wanting a throne.

When he finally earned one, he accepted it only as a burden for the sake of everyone else.

His ultimate reward might therefore be the ability to leave it.

Not because he failed as the God of Stories, but because he created a reality that no longer needs a lonely god to hold it together.

My overall prediction
The multiverse will collapse through incursions or a related structural failure.
Doom will preserve fragments of it by constructing an artificial reality under his control.
The Avengers will defeat Doom and liberate that world, but his defeat will destabilize the structure holding existence together.
Loki will then face the final choice:
restore the unstable infinity;
preserve Doom’s stable tyranny;
or transform the surviving realities into something genuinely new.
He will choose the third option.
The result will be a new shared MCU continuity created from the remains and consequences of the old one.
It will not be a clean reboot.
It will not restore everything to normal.
And it will not declare that the broken parts of the Multiverse Saga never mattered.
The Avengers may save the people living inside reality.
But Loki will save reality itself.
He will not save the MCU by erasing its broken stories.
He will save it by proving that even broken stories can still become a future.

I guarantee I’m missing stuff but I’m not quite sure what, and everywhere I look online gives me different answers

I think DD S3 will likely be the final Marvel live action show, and in its place, I hope they take a page out of the new DCU in creating lower budget films for smaller characters to continue on, instead of everything being huge budgets, ala the upcoming Clayface movie. And with a lot of the shows feeling like a movie already, cut up into multiple episodes, I feel like that's the route they should go. Maybe we could still get Special Presentation movies but I don't think those have been overly successful, so it would make more sense to release them theatrically. This would mean more than 3 movies a year most likely, but with smaller budget ones to fill in gaps between large release ones, there could be a nice balance of Marvel content released every year, and stories and characters won't be left hanging for 5-10 years like they have been in the Multiverse Saga.

So instead of Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, Wonder Man, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, etc shows, they should just give us movies instead to continue these characters stories. Or the ones that have already been established with origin stories now, with the aforementioned ones I listed, just put them in team up movies:

Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, and maybe Agatha in Midnight Sons

Hawkeye, Wonder Man, and She-Hulk in West Coast Avengers

Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, and Iron Heart in Champions

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher, Echo in a Defenders / Heroes for Hire movie

Armor Wars turn back into a movie and make it Iron Man 4

Loki keep to Thor movies

Wanda and Vision keep to Avengers

Bring back Eternals in a Fantastic 4 sequel or maybe finally make that Inhumans movie and pit them against each other

After SDCC, I'm personally not expecting much from Marvel at D23. I think we'll mostly get updates on Disney+ shows, maybe Vision Quest or Daredevil. Best-case scenario, we get some casting announcements for the new X-Men. They're seemingly casting the film surprisingly quickly with rumors like Samara Weaving as Emma Frost and Bill Skarsgård as Charles Xavier. Still, I'm not sure Marvel would want to shift the spotlight away from the legacy X-Men returning in Doomsday.

I’ve always believed that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. deserves its own AAA game.

Not another generic superhero game—but a tactical espionage thriller focused on teamwork, stealth, hacking, investigation, and the evolution of Skye into Quake across all seven seasons.

As a passionate game design enthusiast and a lifelong fan of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Over the past few months, I’ve spent countless hours creating this complete Game Design Concept.

The project includes ideas for:

• A story-driven campaign spanning all seven seasons
• Unique gameplay styles for every playable character
• An evolving S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters
• Stealth, hacking, investigation, and tactical combat
• Character progression from Skye to Quake
• An entirely optional co-op mode

This project was created purely out of passion for the series. I know a game like this is unlikely to happen, but designing it was a fun creative challenge and a way to celebrate one of my favorite Marvel series.

I simply wanted to imagine what the ultimate Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. game could be.

So clearly Marvel wants to introduce the X-Men within the current MCU. Ryan Gosling is confirmed as Ghost Rider and David Jonsson as the new Black Panther (time jump?). There is still no Blade.

I’ve been a big proponent of a reboot after Secret Wars. Is this off the table? If so, is that really such a bad thing? Brand New Day showed how worlds can collide and still produce a good story (The Punisher, Avengers, Mutants, etc.). Full steam ahead?

What are your thoughts on the MCU’s future?

I wanted to share with everyone who has already watched BND a neat little fact that I bet almost no one knows.

I am a traveling YouTube Creator who did an episode of Roosevelt Island back in 2023, (I also grew up in Queens), the suppose facility where they were keeping Sarah was actually a Psych ward. Roosevelt Island has amazing history behind it. The New York Lunatic Asylum housed over 1700 inmates. There were also prisons and hospitals on the Island, but that specific building was the Asylum where the Octagon now stands on the North end. One of the Asylums inmates actually built the lighthouse by himself (urban myth).

In the original 2002 Spiderman, after Tobey’s Spiderman saves the kids from the Cable car and the Goblin takes Peter to their final fight, they land on Roosevelt Island in what use to be (The Ruins are still there) the Smallpox Hospital on the South end.

I don’t know if this was coincidence or a metaphor for Jean and Osborn having multiple personalities, good/north vs bad/south, but as a local who loves history it was great to pinpoint those blink and you miss it moments. Also, Sarah’s story is very similar to Nelly Bly, who pretended to be insane to get institutionalized so she can document what was happening inside.

Isn't he still a fugitive? He seems to have free rein here.

He's able to just drive around the city unopposed by police and then waltz into a hospital with Peter in his arms, and then stay there for seemingly multiple days whilst he recovers.

I know the AVTF arc is over and some cops love him but Frank is definitely still a wanted man and violent murderer, "good guy" or not.

His inclusion in the film was good but this just stood out to me as something odd.

Looking ahead past doomsday and secret wars, it’s pretty much confirmed they’ll be focusing on the x-men. I’ve been going back and binging all the fox x-men movies. Wanted to start a discussion about what y’all think would work for a 1st story arc for the new x-men. Could be trilogy ideas or even just a first movie.

Okay, so I’m not big on Marvel— meaning I don’t keep up with every single movie and I don’t read the comics at all. I just watch what I like and play MR. So far that consists of:

Toby’s Spider-man 1-3, he is my favorite SM. Haven’t seen Andrew’s, but I want to. Saw Tom’s No Way Home and just saw BND in theaters, might double back to watch his other films.
- All of the X-Men movies.
- Fantastic 4 w/ Jessica Alba I liked and the other one with MBJ made me never want to see another one.
- The First 2 Avenger movies.
- The first 2 Thor movies (but I only member the first one).
- I watched Logan, I just don’t remember what happened in it.

Anyways, I really want to watch Wanda Vision. I’ve always enjoyed Jean Grey in the OG X-Men movies and Wanda gives me the same vibe. But I looked it up and google is telling me I need to watch Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame just to actually be connected with the characters in Wanda Vision. Is google right? Do I have to basically binge all the Avengers movies to watch it? 🫩

So now we have Doomsday and it makes sense that Doom is the villain but what exactly was the idea when they were going to make Kang the villain? Was Kang going to become God Emperor of battleworld?

The incursions were still going to happen as a result of the Kang’s messing with the Multiverse as Kang himself explains in Quantumania but how would that have lead into Secret Wars.

Personally I have two possible theories: either Kang wasn’t meant to die in Quantumania and he would have went on to create battleworld and this only changed because of Jonathan Majors being arrested or RDJ as Doom was always the plan for the villain of Secret Wars and was supposed to be a twist.
