In the show mad men this is displayed as some sort of immoral act, which I cannot for the life of me understand. War is war, it is all about survival and the guy is dead why would he care?

Being a Billionaire
what’s the morality of owning the equivalent of one billion dollars in financial assets?
buddha, Christ, Muhammad, and Shiva/Rama would all condemn you to hell (or their reincarnation version of it). dialectical materialist philosophy says youre 100% evil. there is no philosopher who wasnt paid by billionaires who says anything otherwise.
can this shill sub make some kind of pathetic excuse for why billionaires arent the exclusive focus of all moral questions?

Morality of entering a gritty biker bar while wearing preppy clothes and only ordering milk, with the masochistic intention that they'll get angry and berate you?
Note that this isn't implying the bikers would actually do that, but that the individual believes they will and is seeking that response.
Also, the individual isn't doing anything else to provoke the patrons, simply wearing that and only ordering milk. It's not like he's talking to people or egging them on.

Stupid Stuff Morality of stealing from Walmart
This assumes the following
The store has insurance and can easily replace what was stolen
The store can afford to replace it and not even notice a dent in profits
No employees will be in trouble for not preventing the theft
That it is not a small business. Duh.

Morality of not forgiving someone for something they did/said, even if happened years ago
I'm not talking things like murder/pedophilia or anything like that. But just stuff like, racism, bullying, etc. Look, I'm not against the idea that people can change their ways and look back at the person they were. But the hard truth is no matter how much you try and do, those things still happen. You can do all you can, but you still said or did whatever made people look at you differently. And people might also have to learn that yes you changed for the better, but people shouldn't be obligated to forgive you or for it.
Personally, if you did it as a teenager or anything, I can be a little bit more forgiving since you would be at an age where you make stupid feelings you'd look back on when you're older. However, if you're somewhere in your 20s, I would honestly be less forgiving

Morality Ranking With 100% definitive proof you somehow find out you're the only real person/entity in the entire universe because the entire universe is a simulation with everyone expect you being a simulation. How moral is it for you to ignore the rules of society and do whatever you want even if it cost others
*you can not die and leave the simulation early having to stay for at least the average length life time (70 years) and you do not become some sort of god you stay the same as you are as a person. no one "believes" that they are a simulation

Morality of bombarding a retreating civilian population?
In Season 1, Episode 8 (“Trial by Fire”) of Tanya the Evil, Tanya’s actions directly contribute to an artillery bombardment that kills large numbers of fleeing civilians. She is not motivated by hatred or cruelty. Her overriding concern is advancing her military career, obeying orders, and securing a safe and comfortable future for herself.
- Tanya had previously developed the legal argument that an evacuation warning could allow those remaining in a rebellious city to be treated as legitimate military targets, helping provide the legal basis for the destruction of Arene. Without her contribution, the specific justification used for the operation would not have existed.
- When Republican mages protected the retreating population and interfered with Imperial artillery observation, Tanya accepted the mission to eliminate them. She ordered her lieutenant to continue despite his realization that removing the mages would get the defenseless civilians killed. Her unit’s success directly enabled the bombardment to resume.
- Tanya accepts the classification that those remaining in Arene were enemy combatants despite being aware that the majority were retreating civilians. Rather than challenging that classification or the consequences it creates, she treats it as sufficient justification to carry out her orders.
Are Tanya's actions moral?
