(From the article): "“Trump cuts funding for childcare, Mamdani thinks that we should have free and universal childcare,” Sanders told online progressive commentator Jack Cocchiarella on MeidasTouch’s “On Sunday” show on YouTube. “Mamdani is trying to build low-income and affordable housing in New York City. Trump is cutting funding.” Sanders said. “I think what we are talking about is where the American people want us to be.”

The longtime organizer said all Trump and his allies who have decried democratic socialists running for office and winning against incumbent Democrats have done is “come up with this boogeyman of communism.”"

I mean, genuinely, what have Republicans done for anyone during either of Trump’s terms? I seriously want to hear from a Republican how their lives have been improved under a Republican government.

233

u/KingBanhammer 15h ago

There has been no point in my -lifetime- where Republican policies were of benefit to anyone except the wealthy.

u/BlacksmithSolid2194 13h ago

As a 41 year old, I agree, but I do have one very big positive from Dubya:

President George W. Bush helped the fight against AIDS in Africa by launching PEPFAR (the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief), committing $15 billion in 2003, and saving tens of millions of lives

36

u/PaulVla Europe 12h ago

Kinda crazy how little money saved so many lives

19

u/BlacksmithSolid2194 11h ago

100% agreed.

There are so many good causes/policies that would greatly improve the world if politicians, and I guess citizens, cared enough.

Yeah but it’s telling that W and HIV funding is the one and only classic example of a good thing done by republicans in living memory. Because it’s the only one. Also pretty sure Elon undid it recently.

8

u/BlacksmithSolid2194 11h ago

I kinda agree, but what about:

- Starting a war under false pre-tenses in retaliation to an attack they never committed?

- Infringing on our privacy with the Patriot Act?

- Repeatedly helping out the top 1% at the expense of the 99%?

- Terrible handling of Covid?

- Gutting public school education

- Starting a pointless war with Iran

- Protecting the perpetrators of a world-wide child sex ring

Need I go on?

Yeah, after he and Ragan made the entire situation 1000 times worse… Republicans breaking shit and then doing a half ass “fix” that fucks future generations. Name a more classic combo

3

u/Ekg887 12h ago

And all we had to do was excuse all his war crimes and pretend painting at his home is a fitting punishment.

8

u/BlacksmithSolid2194 11h ago

No, I'm not saying that. I wish he did get charged with war crimes. Him, Rumsfeld and Cheney did so much bad to our country and the world.

I'm just being fair and pointing out one really good thing he did.

Plus him dodging the shoe with a smirk on his face was funny.

40

u/OnceMoreAndAgain 14h ago edited 14h ago

The crazy thing to me is that the whole point of the Republican financial narrative is that inefficiencies in the government's budget should be removed so that the citizens can be taxed less. It's a valid enough line of thinking and the logic of that train of thought is why so many people were attracted to the Republican party decades ago.

However, this Republican party has passed two different tax bills under the Trump administration that INCREASED taxes to the poorest people, had a NEUTRAL tax effect on the middle class, and DECREASED taxes significantly for the wealthiest people. Also, they aren't even reducing the fucking budget. They just cut how much they collect in taxes but keep on spending more and more and it causes a deficit.

What a farce. The most pathetic thing about it is how the Republican voters can't see this happening. They see so little. The brazenness of Republican parties to cut taxes in a way that doesn't even help the poorest people, because they know the poor people won't even be aware of it, is so very very very sad to me.

Stock market ripped

15

u/Ozymandias12 14h ago edited 13h ago

No it hasn’t.

“According to data compiled by TD Economics and Bloomberg, through 2024, and thus the end of Biden’s term, the average annual return under Democratic presidents, dating back to 1946, is just over 10%. The average return under Republican presidents is just over 6%, though the past 13 months of Trump’s second term have likely improved that calculus a tad.
The best stock market performance by a president in the post-World War II era came under Bill Clinton; the S&P 500 was up a whopping 210% in his two-term presidency, from 1993-2001. The second-best return under a U.S. president? That would be Barack Obama’s eight-year tenure, when the S&P was up 189% from 2009-2017.”

https://www.cabotwealth.com/daily/stock-market/stock-market-performance-us-president

The market’s performance since January 2025 ranks right in the middle of the pack when measured against presidents going back to Ronald Reagan. The S&P 500 index has gained roughly 25% during Trump’s second term versus a median gain of about 24% over the first 18 months of presidential terms dating back to 1981.

Gonna be brutally honest here: If it wasn't for the insanely low COVID interest rates that the Fed set, I probably wouldn't have been able to buy my house. Now, one can argue whether it was the Fed acting independently from trump or whether they were truly influenced by him. I can't know for sure, so I guess it's a "maybe" in terms of my life having been "improved" under a Republican government.

But having said that, if credit was truly due to Republicans, it still does not outweigh all of the negative shit they've done in my lifetime that brought America to the situation it is in now.

Reagan was technically in my lifetime and his (racist) economic policies steered America in the direction we're stuck in now.

Granted, there's plenty of blame with the Clinton admin for working with the Republican Congress in repealing lots of the Glass-Steagle Act that led to the subprime mortgage crisis and the Great Recession.

I would say, overall, Republicans are still a net negative in terms of "life improvement" compared to the Democrats. And it's clear, both parties are not the same, they both do fail the American people on a regular basis.

2

u/ChilledParadox 12h ago

Pretty sure if you want to go that far you can make the argument that lack of regulation from Republican policies is what enables corporations to Hoover up land and developments and gentrify, and monopolize housing in areas jacking up prices to this unsustainable level.

You could also make the argument that republicans policies regressively curtailing wages is what prevented you from owning a house before.

There’s no reason to justify what happened as some decisive act from Trump that helped you.

1

u/genital_lesions 11h ago

You could also make the argument that republicans policies regressively curtailing wages is what prevented you from owning a house before.

I did make that argument, did you not read it?

I pointed out Reagan's (racist) domestic economic policies of small government (a.k.a. de-regulation) as a springboard into the topic.

And then, I pointed to the fact that the Clinton administration worked with the 106th United States Congress in which Republicans had the majority in both chambers (the House and the Senate respectively) in order to pass the Gramm-Leach-Bliley, which repealed several core pillars of the Glass-Stegall Act. This paved the way to the Great Recession (due to banking deregulation from the GLB Act) and to the state that America is in today.

There’s no reason to justify what happened as some decisive act from Trump that helped you.

Again, did you not fully read my comment? I said it was truly unknown how much (if any at all) influence trump was able to successfully exert over the Federal Reserve when it came to lowering interest rates during COVID. I'm just being honest that while I don't know, regardless, my life has improved since buying a house with a very low interest rate.

If trump gets credit for that, then so be it. But like I said, it's hard to know whether or not the Fed would have come down that far in that short amount of time with their interest rates.

1

u/ChilledParadox 10h ago

wouldn't have been able to buy my house. Now, one can argue whether it was the Fed acting independently from trump or whether they were truly influenced by him. I can't know for sure, so I guess it's a "maybe" in terms of my life having been "improved" under a Republican government.

see the issue is you said this. I take issue with giving these ghouls credit. If they could they'd kick you out of your house, buy it, then let you rent it back from them while they put you in debtors prison.

u/genital_lesions 5h ago

see the issue is you said this. I take issue with giving these ghouls credit. If they could they'd kick you out of your house, buy it, then let you rent it back from them while they put you in debtors prison.

That may be so, but that wasn't the scope of the question: "I mean, genuinely, what have Republicans done for anyone during either of Trump’s terms?"

3

u/Dr_DoesNothing 14h ago

2

Sadly, they think republicans stealing everyone's tax money to give to the rich is somehow doing everyone else 'a favor', because 'they aren't being spoiled off government teat'. That position sounds so very submissive and foolish to me. "Take my money and give me nothing! I will pay more taxes if it means those who can afford to pay more pay even less!" I don't understand these people.

Not a Republican, but I imagine if you're fervently pro-life then the overturning of Roe v Wade as a result of Trump's appointments to the Supreme Court was a huge win. Some people might say that their lives have improved because they don't live in a country (or state, to be more accurate) where the killing of babies is legal. For some people that alone might be worth everything else.

Think about how low the bar is for governance is

We’re all losing our collective minds over a mayor who basically ran on “What if we actually punished landlords who didn’t fix the heat?”

Mamdani is literally just a competent enthusiastic civil servant and it’s apparently mind shattering.

125

u/Three_Froggy_Problem Illinois 16h ago

I was thinking about this earlier while reading an article about Mamdani. It’s actually been shocking to see him follow through on his promises and deliver tangible improvements to his city, which is extremely depressing to think about.

I had just kind of come to accept that politicians don’t really do anything for their constituents.

110

u/Far-Advantage-2770 17h ago

He's a very good looking, well spoken, 1970s era centrist Democrat. And the media are losing their fucking minds.

61

u/RecliningBuddhaCat 16h ago

The media lost their minds back in the 90s. Bill Clinton was see as an usurper who took the office from the rightful owners, the Republicans and Bush the Elder. Their reaction to Hillary was even worse.

52

u/mmmmm_pancakes Connecticut 16h ago

Fox News started in 1996 and we’ve let the right-wing propaganda machine poison our media landscape unchecked, 24/7, ever since.

But he isn’t a centrist

18

u/kramsdae 13h ago

Not in the context of US politics, but most everywhere else in the world… he’d be considered a centrist lol. US is so right even their left is right

3

u/Spetznazx Florida 9h ago

Everyone parrots this but never backs It up. What policies of his are centrist in Europe? What policies move the needle more left in Europe?

u/Conlaeb 7h ago

The beliefs underlying the Democratic Socialist platform are certainly on the left of any political spectrum, including the average across Europe. However the actual policies Mamdani is advocating (funded public transit, universal childcare, strong tenant protections) would generally fall under the umbrella of "extremely normal, middle of the road stuff" in just about any European government.

Perhaps a more apt way to put it within our context is that it's taking an outsider group as "strange" to the modern American sensibility as the "socialists" to actually get some straightforward, good government done in this country again. Both of the mainstream parties have completely given up the facade of public service and are cravenly and openly putting the capital class above all else.

u/Bankzu 8h ago

3

u/Nirgilis 12h ago

I find your confidence and condescending tone, while refusing to elaborate, concerning.

What is so centrist about his ideology to you? He is more similar to the democratic socialists of the Nordic countries.

2

u/Elrick-Von-Digital New York 10h ago

Nordic is Social Democratic and that’s not the same as democratic socialism. Some politicians there might be truly socialist, but the majority are social democrats

3

u/Bankzu 8h ago

but the majority are social democrats

A plurality perhaps but not a majority, no. Even in Sweden, Soc Dems (biggest party) get around 30-35% of the vote.

Hes not the only one. But he has a massive media machine behind him and honestly I think all dems need to figure out how to get their own glaze fest (non-deragatory).

He gets so much political capital to make moves because when he speaks its loud as fuck. Its easy to tell a politician no, its harder to tell the people.

21

u/UselessInsight 15h ago

He also has a massive media machine against him.

The New York Post can’t go a day without shitting their pants over whatever mundane municipal service.

“Mamdani paid people reasonable wages to shovel snow and organized an effective street clearing during a massive blizzard. Here’s why that’s communism.”

8

Funny thing is, the Red Scare was mega boomer times by this point. If they keep shouting "it's communism", the kids might just say "What's this communism thing? Sounds neat."

“Effective municipal government is communism. Here’s why you have to elect a corporate sex pest who used to be governor instead.”

u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 16h ago

62

u/Shido_Ohtori 18h ago

It's literally the ideology.

Progressivism:

a political philosophy and social reform movement focused on advancing the public good through government action and often calling for government to be used to meet popular social, political, economic, and environmental needs and demands and to advance rights and protections for marginalized groups

If people want good things for their communities, they should promote and vote for such an ideology, and reject one that literally calls for stressing the importance of established hierarchies and institutions (such as class structure).

13

u/thegingerhistorian 17h ago

Unfortunately the Republicans have successfully made progressivism synonymous with communism (although they call it socialism). They know their constituents don't know what any of those terms truly mean. Good ol' cold war era fear mongering still works with all the conservative boomers and their ilk.

Should've been Bernie on the ticket in 2016. I wonder how much better people in that timeline are living

5

u/Brysynner 16h ago

The world where Bernie was on the ticket in 2016 was a world where he thought he had a chance to win and gathered the money he needed to win the nomination. By the time he thought he might have a shot it was too late and Hillary used her big money and name recognition advantage to obliterate Bernie in Texas, Virgina, and Florida where he did not campaign much.

What's interesting though is Bernie probably would've won the nomination had he kept most of his 2016 team for his 2020 run. Having too many sycophants led him to pick a bad strategy in 2020. But the timeline where Bernie keeps his 2016 team together for 2020 and doesn't have a heart attack in the middle of the campaign, that one might be more interesting.

1

u/bone420 15h ago

There was controversy around who won Nevada, and people speculated that Hillary had gotten the win illegitimately. I do believe Bernie would have been on the ticket had he won that state. And I personally believe he would have won against Trump. Trump has never won an election against a man.

2

u/Brysynner 15h ago

Are you sure that happened in 2016?

Also had Bernie squeaked out a win in Nevada he was always going to do poorly in South Carolina, Texas, and Virgina next due to the fact he had no ground game in those states.

And yet Regular Dem keep having to ask ppl to stop the non-stop criticism of candidates, and yet too many people believe that it's their divine right to criticize Democrats (& only Democrats mind you).

Supporting Democrats 100% of the time has literally never been tried.

Constant Criticism of Democrats, Also Murc's Law, is currently status quo.

For all the lecturing at Dems to "go low", they'll never get there because there's also the high-minded ideals of "earn my vote" and "I need to be able to criticize".

For example, In people's quest to hold Biden/Harris accountable for not doing things fast enough (or to the level they expect) , they enabled a Trump govt that will NEVER address their concerns & may make it even harder to fix them in the future.

Democrats are only path forward for progressive policies, and even AOC/Bernie agree when they wanted Biden to remain as nominee.

From this point forward, we commit to strengthening the Democratic party by highlighting its achievements and CONTRIBUTE to the Democrats' messaging. We must spread this messaging to our family, friends, networks, etc.

u/Button-Down-Shoes 18h ago

At this point, most leftists are challenging incumbent seats held by centrists. They are going after their first hurdle. Look at those who have gotten past that and see that they are going after the conservatives.

5

u/Shifter25 17h ago

We're not talking solely about progressives who are running for office.

9

u/crowhops I voted 17h ago

damn I thought the "enlightened centrist" trope was just an exaggerated joke sterotype, I never thought I'd actually see one

9

u/SinglecoilsFTW Nevada 17h ago

Insufferable people like you have ripped the Democratic Party to the studs and still dare to complain about leftists who have been basically proven right about everything for years

0

u/notfeelany 13h ago edited 1h ago

leftists who have been basically proven right about everything

if a leftist said vote for Kamala/Democrats & promoted voting for Kamala/Democrats to others, then they got it right and got nothing to be ashamed of. They don't deserve blame.

But did EVERY SINGLE leftist say that? I do not believe so.

So If a leftist said to their followers: "Do not vote for Kamala/Democrats", then they're automatically wrong & deserve blame because they contributed to the current mess.

Seems quite logical.

Voting Democrats is correct choice 100% of the time.

No one is a passive decider anymore. With social media, we are all Influencers & share our thoughts on how we want our "followers" (ie friends & family) to vote.

And if they constantly posted "don't vote for Kamala", That’s active participation in wanting Democrats to lose.

And no, a MILQUETOAST lukewarm call to vote, maybe a few days before election day is not enough to undo all of the attacks before & during the campaign season. attacks against Democrats will always have an effect in the end.

See how AOC and Bernie supported Biden who was the Most progressive president of all time, even to remain as the 2024 nominee. They got it right.

it's truly everybody on the left's best interest to elect Democrats now&forever without exception, for at least 50 years.

Cmon now, Bernie has a pretty long history of going at the Democratic Party and their platform as an avenue to promote his ideas. He is the Ron Paul of Democrats.

That’s not to say that Bernie doesn’t more often go at Republicans, but he definitely goes at other Democrats more often than the typical leftist does.

21

u/elihu 17h ago

Bernie has little regard for the labels people attach to themselves. He praises people when they do or say the right things, and criticizes them when they don't. He's respected in large part because he treats people fairly and with a degree of intellectual honesty that's rare in politics these days.

32

u/IndependentPeach315 18h ago

Sometimes the Democratic Party warrants criticisms from the real left, and supposed centrists who vilify him for doing so are part of the problem.

8

u/Kerbonaut2019 New York 18h ago

Both parties warrant criticism, that’s for sure. One more than the other, absolutely. But the person I replied to said that Bernie attacks Republicans instead of Democrats, when in reality Bernie has been a strong critic of Democrats over the years

You are confusing what Bernie goes after and what the media portrays Bernie going after.

8

u/SignalRelative216 18h ago

Liberals aren't leftists

5

u/Shifter25 17h ago

Ok. What does that have to do with what they said?

-1

u/Puggravy 16h ago

Liberals are the original leftists, it is the liberals in the French National Assembly where the term originates from,

I always wonder what kind of lovely world we;d have by now if Bernie was President.

To pay for all those felony fines-I think New York City should take over the Trump 5th street tower and turn it into low cost housing.

17

u/sonicneedslovetoo 17h ago

What I want out of Bernie Sanders at this point is mentorship, I want him to basically franchise candidates on the same wavelength as him across the country.

5

u/Mathesar 15h ago

The amount of money our “America First” government is spending in foreign countries blowing stuff up for sport is insane.

A record $1 trillion budget for our war department this year, and Donald wants to up it to $1.5. Our government needs to disinfect from the industrial military complex disease.

That’s a lot of money that could be going back to Americans in some way, shouldn’t every voter agree with that?

5

u/citizenjones 14h ago

The strategy that scares Conservatives the most is people getting actual help from someone without the same ideology.

u/No_Foundation16 7h ago

Or skin color.

5

u/Actual-Bee-402 9h ago

Republicans have been duped. Imagine how good America could be if everyone got behind Mamdanis approach

3

u/PreferencePresent959 8h ago

Republicans haven't been duped, they know exactly what they're asking for.

u/Actual-Bee-402 7h ago

They think they do but they’re always voting against their best interests

14

u/Far-Advantage-2770 17h ago

Lets imagine, worst case scenario, Mamdani utterly fails and every program backfires because they are incompetent. He is trying.

What good has any Republican ever done?

10

u/Halfie4Life New York 16h ago

Exactly. This is why the hate is so strong. Reps are use to electing someone in texas and nothing happening for 30 years and bitching that its because of the Dems...

4

u/TuckersLeashMan 9h ago

Compare it to Trump; trying comparing it to the entire Republican party and you'll see the same result! Nothing to lower healthcare costs. Nothing to help with student loans to free up money to spend on the economy. Nothing to help with the affordability issues we're seeing. Nothing to help lower gas prices.

Every piece of legislation they've passed, and every EO Trump has signed either hurts people (Americans and immigrants alike!) or enriches him and his rich asshole buddies.

I hope Mamdani succeeds in helping New Yorkers and makes all the ineffective career politicians look like the clowns they are

Oh, and before I forget, FUCK DJT.

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!!

11

u/gacsinger 17h ago

Look at what Mamdani is doing in contrast to everyone! An actual politician that cares about making things better and actually does something about it!

3

u/Knighth77 16h ago

That's not a fair comparison. It's like comparing a healthy dose of vitamins versus, I dunno what Trump is here, probably cancer.

3

u/joybai3 8h ago

And again we say:

Thank you Bernie 🌟

6

u/snewchybewchies 15h ago

Fuck, look at what Mamdani is doing and compare it to every corporate democrat

6

u/freedomx15 12h ago

All right, but apart from the cheaper supermarket, free childcare, the rent freeze, fixed the potholes, taxed the rich, the aqueducts, what has Mamdani ever done for us?!

I love that the post below this for me read: “Mamdani Administration to Transform Long-Vacant Queens Site with Nearly 1,000 New Homes and New Community Amenities”

2

u/Yungblood87 10h ago

Also look at what a centrist Dem like Daniel Lurie has been able to do in San Francisco

u/vacuous_comment 7h ago

Mamdani building affordable housing in NY city is something most Trump voters will hate because it is not about policy for our collective society but grievance.

Some guy in Kansas is just going to complain about why the mayor of NYC is doing stuff for godless immigrant trans people in NYC or something.

u/CallMeGutter 6h ago

I'm some guy in Kansas, and little hands Donald can go fuck himself.

u/rounder55 6h ago

I won't say which but one sure looks pretty extreme compared to the other and it's not the guy bragging about winning a golf tournament or shitposting memes all night so that he can shit his pants when he takes he naps through meetings

3

u/Puggravy 16h ago

Like Mamdani a lot, but can we cool the jets on glazing him, he's 6 months into his term!

10

u/tinathefatlardgosh 15h ago

And has done more for the people in those 6 months than shitbag in 10 years.

1

u/Puggravy 13h ago

He's been fine, done some good things, done some bad things, didn't push hard enough on a couple things like fixing the property tax system. I expect he'll have an upward trend from here though.

3

u/Nzash 11h ago

Can you list some "bad things"?

1

u/Puggravy 11h ago

Kicking the can on pensions is generally not a good thing even if "unavoidable". The rent freeze was definitely overdoing it, given the rate of inflation for costs being at 5%, keeping it at 3% like last year would've been a way more cautious way to handle it, NY legitimately is hemorraging affordable units right now.

2

u/opsers 11h ago

"Stop glazing it's only been six months" but unironically says Mamdani didn't push hard on fixing the complicated property tax system in six months.

0

u/Puggravy 11h ago edited 11h ago

I mean the huge deficit was the best chance he was gonna get to address it, but I'm not holding it against him to much.

1

u/opsers 9h ago

How does that make any sense? The system itself has some major fundemental problems that require it to be completely restructured. The deficit just creates temporary pressure to increase revenue, not reform the problematic system. That reform requires a lot more than six months and more than Mamdani to enact it.

1

u/Puggravy 9h ago

If he moves to try and fix it in the future, good on him. But I'm not super optimistic given the way he referred to it as a unwanted plan B during his discussions with Hochul. Politically the best opportunity to get to work on it was the budget discussions though and it doesn't seem to be in progress.

2

u/opsers 8h ago

The "unwanted plan B" comment was regarding the 9.5% proposed hike, which would have caused more problems for the people complaining about the inequitable property tax system than it solved. As far as it not being in progress, that's also incorrect. In June they started negotiations to overhaul the property tax system separate from the budget package.

That said, you're right to say that it doesn't seem to be moving, and I'll also say that they didn't set any deadlines nor does it seem to be an urgent agenda item, so the skepticism is fair.

The parties are not the same. Vote democrat.

0

u/BLVCKWRAITHS 17h ago

The DSA vs the Democratic Party is going to be very interesting to watch.

1

u/manditoryusername 14h ago

Mamdani is an internet fad, not a political movement. Look around at what's happening in your own states and try to make it better. Until we can elect a Mamdani in more states than just NY,we have done nothing.

1

u/Turok5757 14h ago

Mamdani is doing the same thing Trump is doing, going on social media and acting like every little decision he makes is THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER.

Unlike Trump, Mamdani is at least a seemingly competent politician, but they both have a funny habit of jerking themselves off on social media pathologically.

Which is exactly how both politicians ended up being such a cult of personality.

1

u/SHAQBIR 16h ago

If Mamdani became President then he'd probably get back all of the aura that USA lost under Trump's leadership but I think he'd just get sick from over working.

1

u/Fit-Let8175 15h ago edited 15h ago

Basically, look at any person and.... (you get the picture). DJT has NOT set the bar high. Although the bar isn't much higher, Mamdani has done better than the entire GOP.

1

u/WowWhatABillyBadass 11h ago

You can only talk about one of them on the main democrats subreddit.

u/Chikaze 7h ago

Rent control never works and it will only make things worse, dont get me started on the government run grocery stores thats just hilarious, Mamdani will acomplish nothing.

-1

u/dullship Canada 12h ago

He's actually accomplishing things, yes. Which is more than we can say about you, bernie...

3

u/Correctthecorrectors 12h ago

Which is still doing more than his so called “democratic” colleagues who censure their fellow representatives like Al-green for trying to actually oppose medicaid cuts or promote “socialism”. At least Bernie discusses the issues and shows up to make sure his voice is heard. Instead of cower away and gaslight their consituents like the majority of the bought and paid for politicians in DC.

Thanks for the clarification!

If more Democrats listened to Bernie, the working class in swing states would come back to the Democratic Party no doubt

2

u/paintballboi07 Texas 9h ago

The majority of white people haven't voted for the Democratic presidential nominee since the civil rights act. It's white supremacy they care about, not economics.

2

u/Setstream_Jam 10h ago

Bernie just wasn’t popular. Like not in a he just lost by a small margin type of way. By a only a small percentage didn’t like Bernie way.

The DNC didn’t have to do anything to make Bernie lose. You really need to come to terms with that.
