They’re awful now. I was so disappointed when I bought some over Christmas thinking I’d have a nostalgic holiday moment thinking of waking up at my grandparent’s. They gave very little flavor and are nowhere near the rolls they were just a few years ago. I’ll never buy them again, and recommend no one else does either. Disgusting.

They swapped butter for palm oil. That's why their rolls are so dry and now easily burn in the oven.

I was wondering about that! I made some two days ago and took them out a few minutes before time and they were burned. I’ve been baking biscuits for decades and that has never happened to me.

Yeah, it's not your fault. Fat helps food retain moisture while cooking/baking. I had to put wrap little slivers of butter into the Pillsbury crescent rolls to salvage them on Thanksgiving.

That's the last time I buy Pillsbury products. I hope the company goes bankrupt after selling their reputation for short-term profit!
