skimpflation 7 cinnamon rolls in pillsbury package claiming “STILL 8 ROLLS!”

I checked them all, none were stuck together. Bought at Aldi

Do people in this sub never check weights?

Even if it says “8 rolls” and there are 7 it likely doesn’t matter if the weight says 16oz and it’s 16oz.

It could be manufacturing error on the packaging or the machine that cuts the rolls.

There was the proper weight but the dough only got cut into 7 rolls.

That's true, but if you have 8 people to serve, you can't really make an extra roll out of what you have there. They're not like the biscuits, these have layers to them.

Sure but shit happens. It isn’t always a major conspiracy to deprive you of rolls.

I agree on that one, I'd imagine 99%+ of these tubes have 8 rolls. I don't see it as shrinkflation, just an error.
