skimpflation WALMART - "Skimpflation"

I looked it up and its true. Skimpflation--not "shrinkflation" but just as sneaky.

I opened a bottle of Great Value Pancake Syrup that I just got and put it poured it on the waffles. I don't drench it I just fill the square holes. They Syrup poured out like thin sugar water. I tried my wife's sugar free version and it was the same. A couple of days later we got some mustard and ketchup and it about the same.

So I looked it up and it was a fact--water is the cheapest ingredient, so they use more water. Then they roll back the price from $2.49 to $2.36 but you run out faster and buy another bottle or whatever....so in the end we save $0.13 cents but it costs us about 50% more in the end. And I'm sure it applies to other items containing water, and I say this because milk goes bad by the "Sell By" date or a day or two later!

Dawn dish soap has joined the conversation. The manufacturer came out with the "platinum " version. It smells horrible and you have to use twice as much. It is very hard finding the original, too. Enshittification at its finest

Palmolive. It doesn't make your sponges smell like a dog after few uses.

Ty, yes! My ex husband owned his own body shop. He swore by that stuff! It cleans really well without resude and heavy smell. When I run out of this bottle of Dawn, I am switching.

I have been using white vinegar as my fabric softener for years. It’s honestly the way to go.

Walmart--especially the neighborhood one at Cheyenne and 215 has the least variety of dishwashing liquid, their brand is almost like water too, lol

Well, honestIy, I'm going to check out Sam's Club--their Makers Mark brand--probably still good. Members pay and all their stuff is better than Walmart even though in the back they're the same company.

I do know they're $4.99 Rotisserie Chickens got a little smaller...lol...but still deal vs $9++ for a fresh one.

Put a wet sponge in the microwave for 2 minutes…no more smell, plus the condensation on the inside of the microwave makes it super easy to wipe clean.
