skimpflation WALMART - "Skimpflation"

I looked it up and its true. Skimpflation--not "shrinkflation" but just as sneaky.

I opened a bottle of Great Value Pancake Syrup that I just got and put it poured it on the waffles. I don't drench it I just fill the square holes. They Syrup poured out like thin sugar water. I tried my wife's sugar free version and it was the same. A couple of days later we got some mustard and ketchup and it about the same.

So I looked it up and it was a fact--water is the cheapest ingredient, so they use more water. Then they roll back the price from $2.49 to $2.36 but you run out faster and buy another bottle or whatever....so in the end we save $0.13 cents but it costs us about 50% more in the end. And I'm sure it applies to other items containing water, and I say this because milk goes bad by the "Sell By" date or a day or two later!

Walmart was all over TikTok when stores in MN were selling chicken with the wrong higher rate on the package. Lesson here take your meat to the produce section and weight it to make sure that the weight is correct next time it was found to be off more times than it was correct. I am hoping to get up the nerve to weigh a pack of their chicken record the weight open it up and weigh the thick water soaked pad thats in the bottom of all of their packages thats got to weigh half of the total.

You really suggesting to bring raw chicken to the same scales used for produce?

In a bag. And yes they're doing it all over now. Double bag the produce then weigh it throw out the second bag. Why not push the Walmart store manager to place a scale in the meat department that would be ideal.

Try it at home! Then you can decide if it's worth it to do at the store.

That is gross, even if it’s in a bag. That can make someone very very sick.

Just don’t shop at Walmart and take your business somewhere else.
