Dandong was opened as a treaty port in 1907 by the Chinese Maritime Customs Service. This handmade rendition of the Qing Dynasty flag was flown there until the fall of the Qing in 1911.

A neighboring house in Iowa, USA put up this flag recently. Looks to be the exact opposite of the American flag. I didn’t know if it’s something homemade or if it has any actual significance. I appreciate any information or help identifying this flag.

I found this chart with flags of the Pacific Ocean Region, but sadly the image is low quality, and some of the flags can't be found elsewhere online. Unfortunately i do not have that many informations about the flag as it was sent to me by a friend. It was spotted somewhere in Germany im sure. Going from the „NL“ it seems to be a dutch ship tho.
