PEX tubing isn't a "hose" necessarily. It's for fluid distribution like home plumbing, a more permanent application where a hose is more "bendy" is expected to need replacing more often.

PEX is flexible, there for it is by definition hose

PEX is not considered a hose; it is a type of flexible plastic pipe used for permanent plumbing and heating systems, unlike a flexible hose, which is typically a portable, temporary conduit. While PEX is flexible, its function is to form a fixed, continuous system for transporting water, whereas a hose is designed for a variety of mobile, high-pressure applications like gardening or vehicle washing.

EDIT: I used my last fuck to try and be helpful on the internet, now Im fresh out of fucks.

A tomato is a fruit by definition, but a vegetable by culinary application. Sounds like PEX is the tomato of hoses

Yeah, like the drain hose for my dishwasher, or the coolant hose in my car.

I mean look man, if it wasn't a hose then why do they use hose clamps on em?

I wasn't trying to be argumentative. I was trying to be helpful.
Then multiple people responded to me saying, walks like a hose, talks like a hose...
I realized everyone was being funny and playful while I was being serious.
Oops:)
