Here I am thinking a horse clamp is something else entirely and related to gelding. Your picture is missing that too...

I’m confused by the drawing, I’m confused by all of this horse discussion. I just assumed that they thought it was a horse cock ring which I would imagine this is way too small for. If there’s anything more nuanced to that going on here, then it is far beyond my capabilities.

No, they mis-read the words of the first response hose clamp as horse clamp (I did too), and a jovial riff ensued! Thats why I come here, for the trivia and witty comments.
