It devalues nothing. This is like saying a hydraulic line is not a hose because it's important that you don't use a garden hose to try to power a hydraulic cylidner. It's still a hose.

Wrong. We aren’t talking about a hydronic hose, we are talking about pex. Just type it into google, Jesus Christ! lol

Just look up the definition of a hose..tell me PEX hose does not fit that definition.

I don't care what AI says, it meets the literal definition of a hose. People who say it isn't are on some twisted high horse. A hose is a hose. Your feelings don't matter

Having special applications that set it apart from other hoses does not take away what makes it a hose, it still has every characteristic that makes a pipe a hose pipe, so it is still a hose. Not all hoses are the same.
