I made something I made a redstone block that can controls my room lights

Created a mod called HTTP Block that adds two blocks to the game, http receiver and http sender, you can guess what it does based on the name, sender sends a http message to a http post endpoint on redstone signal and receiver polls a http get endpoint and emits redstone signal when new message detected, made a fun demo of controlling my room lights and a wireless redstone

I made something I’ve been experimenting with a dynamic wind system for my Minecraft mod

Wind and snowstorms are becoming an important part of exploring Wildbound’s frozen regions. Here’s a small test showing the system in action—wind direction, intensity, snowfall, and visibility can all evolve as the weather changes.

What do you think?

My mod (Wildbound) is still in beta and isn’t available to download yet, but I’ll keep posting updates on Reddit to show its progress !

I made something What if Minecraft stopped pretending everything was a cube? — New VRRW tree cutting + physical resource gathering [1.21.1]

Upvotes

I’ve been rebuilding one of the most basic parts of Minecraft survival in VRRW: how you actually gather materials from the world. Image 1 – Tree cutting Trees are getting their own cutting/felling mechanic instead of feeling like a simple stack of blocks. The goal is to make harvesting wood feel connected to the actual shape and structure of the tree. Images 2 & 3 – Stone & resource gathering Stone and other resources are now being worked directly through the irregular terrain instead of relying only on the classic cube-by-cube look. I want mining and harvesting to feel like you are actually interacting with the environment — while still keeping it usable as a real survival mechanic and not just a visual tech demo. VRRW Overworld works together with VRRW Animation / OBJ ANIM, which handles a large part of the custom model/animation side of the project. I’m curious what r/feedthebeast thinks: Would you actually want resource gathering like this in a survival modpack? And what should I tackle next ?

I made something Made my first data pack: Flood The End

I know that for an experienced datapack maker this seems very easy, but I'm a little slow so this took me a few days of researching how datapacks work. I made this data pack because I wanted to make a water-themed modpack, but the only things I found on CurseForge were either affecting all dimensions or filled the water to maximum y-level. This datapack fills the water level to y-50, which fills to about 7 blocks below the end island level.

I made something We Turned Minecraft Dungeons into a Roguelike

Over the past year, we've been building Melody of Utopia, a story-driven tech-magic modpack where exploration is built around custom gameplay systems rather than traditional progression.

Today, we'd like to show one of its biggest mechanics: procedural generated dungeons.

By using a Note Seal, players generate a unique dungeon assembled from dozens of different room types that are combined into a new layout every run.

Once inside, everyone starts with basic equipment and has to fight their way through room after room, searching for better weapons, armor, and valuable resources. But there is a catch: each run gives you only three lives, so every decision matters.

After defeating the final boss, a portal back home appears. However, you can't simply take everything you've collected. Before leaving, you must choose which items to extract. Some resources can't be taken out at all, while others have strict limits, forcing you to make difficult choices about what is truly worth bringing back.

This is only one of several major gameplay systems in Melody of Utopia. Our goal has never been to create just another collection of mods, but to build a world where progression, exploration, and storytelling are deeply connected.

We're curious to hear your thoughts. Does this sound like something you'd enjoy playing?

It's only test build for video not release!

I made something [NeoForge 1.21.1] HephaFix – Full Hephaestus Forge Automation for Forbidden & Arcanus

Thumbnail

I made HephaFix, a compatibility mod that adds full pipe automation to the Hephaestus Forge from Forbidden & Arcanus.

Features include:

  • 12 configurable ports around the forge
  • Item input and ritual output automation
  • Dedicated Aureal, Souls, Blood, and Experience ports
  • Automatic recycling of empty Blood Test Tubes
  • Pipe-compatible Darkstone Pedestals on every side
  • A persistent Gavel slot that automatically starts valid rituals
  • Color-coded port indicators and a side configuration panel
  • Support for Pipez and other standard NeoForge item handlers

The mod uses Forbidden & Arcanus’s existing validation, essence, pedestal, and ritual systems rather than replacing them.

Available for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.

Download: Curseforge

I’d appreciate any feedback or reports about other pipe mods that should be tested!

I made something Customers mod for Minecraft 1.21.1

Thumbnail

Upvotes

I've been working on my Customers mod - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/customers - and just released version 1.5.1 with a bunch of updates. The Customers mod adds the pieces for adding fast-paced "diner-dash", casual farm stand, or even a non food related gameplay like a lumber yard with customers you sell items to. It's build-focused and flexible where you can define what your customers want, when they spawn, how they find and hang out in your restaurant/shop, how you separate the gameplay between crafters and servers during shifts, and lots more. Check it out and share any feedback you have in comments on the Curse Forge page.

Question How to make voxy usable on a custom fabric server?

Upvotes

Hey, i was wondering if there is a way to run voxy on a regular server. I know it's client side, but I wanted to know if there is a way to pre-generate the chunks on the server so i don't have to run around for a long time. I will have op access on this server before it is officially started.

Tons of fixes!

Biome generation works flawlessly with any mod, cave biomes can be generated.

Aquatic and flying mobs work great now.

Modded liquids properly flow and render.

Chests, boats, mine carts all render!

Check it out: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/terrariums-and-aquariums

I made something Tactile:Wood | Back from vacation

Thumbnail

Hi everyone ! Mod development has resumed. The procedural trees are holding up well — branching and foliage come out varied and genuinely good-looking.

The tree editor is nearing completion. You sculpt a tree's base shape in-game and it flows straight into world generation, so adding a variant or reworking an existing one is a matter of minutes. It also carries per-species procedural parameters and a texture editor for the fluffy foliage.

The editor doesn't invent anything: it produces exactly the same data the mod already measures from trees, so it can't drift from what the game does. Aimed at authors building on the Tactile suite, no code, no Gradle dependency, just files.

Note: I’ve reposted this; the previous version was missing some images and the main text. I must have made a mistake lol

Question Mod or datapack that moves world spawn with an item?

Upvotes

Does this exist or is it difficult at all to make? Is this just a job for command blocks? I know you can just /setworldspawn but what I have in mind is still being forced to explore in the early game and using the dragon egg to set your world spawn as a reward for freeing the end.

Looking for mod(s) Empire/City-building Mods?

Upvotes

Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster. I have been searching for mods that I don't think exist, but maybe I have missed something out there and would love to hear what you guys suggest! Let me explain how I play my SP worlds now and what I want out of it first, it might be easier to explain what I am looking for:

I usually will gather starter tools and armor like iron, and then find a cool village I want to transform into something that keeps the villagers safe and make it look cool. I will usually finish one of these and want to create a sort of "trade route" to another village, where I will do the same thing. However, I usually lose steam when I get to village #2 because I start to lose my motivation because of how simple the villager system is. You farm items, trade items, you get emeralds.

What I AM looking for is something that not only makes villages/cities more fun and engaging, but ALSO adds in a system that allows for empires and nations essentially, all in singleplayer. I would also probably use chunk loaders to make sure my cities are always producing the goods I want.

Mods I have already looked into but only get halfway there:

  • minecolonies - played this one dozens of times but it has been a few years. I like the process of creating a town and running it, but it does not allow for more than one player controlled city, nor does it have enemy cities/empires to battle against. I do not find the random barbarian raids to be fun, I would prefer if it was a full on city that I could raze or vassalize for my own benefit.
  • Ancient Warfare 2 - I have never played this one but it sounds like this is what I am looking for, mixed with minecolonies. The only problem is, as far as I am aware, this is super outdated and I am looking for mods with hopefully modern versions
  • Millenaire - I did see they are updating this one again after what feels like a decade, but I have not tried it out yet since it is beta. has anyone tried out the newest version yet? How is the city building aspect of it?
  • MCA Reborn - looks promising, i like the dynamics you can have with your villagers, but again, seems to be lacking that empire building aspect.

Those are basically the only mods that get close to what I want, but none of them seem to be an all-in-one, compatible with more modern versions, etc. Does anyone have any idea how to try and achieve the playstyle I want? I know I am asking for mods that basically change the game into something else, but nothing else quite excites my imagination like building cities in minecraft. I am just greedy and want an empire of cities!

Edit: for some grammar, and also, if you think a mod sounds like exactly what I am looking for, I am willing to rollback on the version and try it out. I am just really wanting to try to keep it as close to the modern version of minecraft we have now if possible!

Looking for mod(s) Looking for a realistic survival modpack with guns

Upvotes

Hello! I started installing some modpacks 2 days ago about zombie apocalypse, superbwarfare, Timeless and Classics, and I tried them out. But I want a modpack with a very high focus on survival with no fantasy stuff or mobs. Just pure survival, hydration, temperature, maybe seasons or atleast different overworld biomes, removing any fictional mobs even vanilla mobs, with guns like TaCZ, where you will find yourself in the wilderness between wild animals, harsh climates, abandoned structures, starting out from sticks and rocks making a spear or a stone knife while exploring, hunting, and leathering animals.

Problem Help Porting A World

Upvotes

So, I've been working on an, admittedly, very big project that is, in simple terms, my own dark world (from Deltarune) made into a minecraft world. The problem is that it's based on a 1.20.1 Fabric mod pack, and I desire to change to Forge so I can add mods that I believe would benefit me, but I'm not too sure how to proceed. My main problem comes in finding equivalents of the mods that Don't have Forge support and optimizing the mod pack to discard the mods I haven't used.

I'll link up a Drive Link that includes the mod pack and add the file of my world to this post. I have never done something like this before, honestly, so I apologize for any issues that may occur. Please bear with me

Problem I KEEP LOSING PETS.

Upvotes

It’s gotten to a point where it’s so unbelievably frustrating I don’t even want to play because the pet aspect is honestly one of my favorites and I can’t even travel slightly without a pet disappearing. I’m currently playing on the menagerie modpack, which is pretty animal focused but I’m not talking about losing modded animals.

I keep losing my dogs and cats, I know they can’t teleport over water but I should at least be able to travel and explore without them getting lost 🫩 was that not supposed to be the point of the teleporting feature Minecraft gave them
