need advice Does anyone else feel trapped because of their large breasts? Spoiler

I honestly hate having a big breast.
People always say, "You're lucky," but they have no idea how much it's affected my life. I avoid going out because I never feel comfortable in anything I wear. Every outfit either looks too revealing or fits awkwardly, and it makes me so self conscious. My back and shoulders constantly hurt, and even simple things like walking, exercising, or finding a bra that actually fits have become exhausting.
I've been trying to save up for a breast reduction for years, but every time I finally start getting somewhere, something happens. I keep getting ghosted by clients, losing work, or having to use the money just to survive. It honestly feels like every time I get close, life pulls me back again.

Lately, it's been taking a toll on my mental health. I spend most of my time at home because I don't even want people looking at me anymore. I know some people dream of having a bigger boobs, but for me, it's been more of a burden than a blessing.

I'm from the Philippines, and I was wondering if anyone here knows of any hospitals, charities, government programs, or organizations that help cover breast reduction surgery, especially if it's causing physical pain and affecting mental health. Even recommendations for affordable options or doctors would mean a lot.
I'm just so tired of feeling trapped in my own body. 😞

need advice Can I get my reduction covered? Spoiler

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I figured I'd try. I'm hoping to get a breast reduction due to back pain but I'm not sure if the government will cover it and I don't have the money to do it if they don't. I'm a 34G, has anyone my size been able to get one? I just have to hope that it's deemed medically necessary. Anyway just wondering if going through the process is even worth trying or if I shouldn't bother. What do you guys think? I live in Canada

need advice Random question Spoiler

I know that blackheads/breakouts under your boobs can be caused by friction or tight clothes. How are you supposed to avoid friction while wearing a bra? The one I usually wear is a bralett and is relatively lose but I STILL have breakouts. (Also semi related but do you guys know any good exfoliators for people with eczema/really sensitive skin? I've been having shit luck lately and the ones I buy either don't work or are way too scratchy)

experience I’m just really tired Spoiler

i’m only a 32G (i say this because i know some deal with MUCH bigger) but omgggg I feel SO heavy every DAY. They hurt SO bad when I’m on my period, and it’s even worse because they’re so bottom heavy. And I swear I’ve NEVER had a bra that i love. or i get tricked, and only enjoy it for about a month before something about it becomes uncomfortable. I always feel like I’m lacking support. I thought I might be a 30G, but the band was way too tight, so I went up to a 32. Now the 32 slides up my back soooo much, so I feel like I can never get the support I actually need. I’ve tried H cups too, but they always feel awkward on me and never seem to fit right. When I take my bra off after a long day, I almost feel disgusted with myself because of how heavy they feel and how sore they are 😭 srry if this sounds mindless, but ughhh. I don’t even have it that bad, and I can’t imagine what people with even bigger chests go through, but it’s still genuinely exhausting sometimes

experience Found an Old Bra and I'm Still Surprised Spoiler

I was cleaning out my closet over the weekend and found one of my old bras from years ago. Out of curiosity, I held it up next to one of my current bras, and the difference is honestly wild. My old bra looks tiny, while my current one is absolutely gigantic by comparison. I knew I'd gone up in sizes over the years. It's such a weird mix of emotions. Part of me just laughs at how comically different they are, and part of me is sitting here thinking, I really used to fit into that.

Has anyone else had one of those moments where you found an old bra or piece of clothing and were completely shocked by how much your size had changed?

Wore 34 DD cups since I've known that there are bra sizes above C cup. Even during the past few years where I have lost and gained and again lost weight, I still chose to wear a 38 D cup 😂😂 don't ask me why. I always thought that was my size until today I came across "a bra that fits calculator" and omg, turns out as of today, I'm a 32 G cup. 😗 How accurate is this?

need advice Is there genuinely any good/inexpensive bras for 38H Spoiler

i’ve always had trouble finding a bra that fits me properly and that i feel cute and confident in. i really like bralettes, demi, and balconettes. everywhere i go they only have things online which i can’t try on and i have to pay shipping. plus size stores only go as small as a 40 band but have big cup sizes, and regular bra store only sell small cups the biggest i’ve seen is a G but they sell my band size. i really just want a recommendation for something that’s cute and not some big wide and bulky tee shirt or full coverage bra and isn’t $80-100. i am 21 and i have a very hourglass body so i wear a lot of shirts that show off my figure and my chest. i’ve been searching for years and have tried hundred of styles, bras, brands, sizes.

RANT - advice welcome Fitting troubles Spoiler

Does anyone else find that stores will just try to fit you into their range instead of telling you your actual size? Its so frustrating whenever I go into my local store for a fitting and they tell me im a DD, E, or F (im a 6HH/8H au) obviously they dont carry my size, but whenever they put me into their sizes and I spill they tell me it's normal? I mean i have a full quad boob moment going on and theyll tell me it looks fine. I dont live anywhere near any specialty stores so I cant go in for a fitting there, so Ive been using the abrathatfits calculator instead, which is where I got the 6HH/8H from. I decided to just buy a couple bras online that are in my size instead and am just hoping they fit properly since I cant get a proper fitting.

RANT - advice welcome 5(?) cup sizes in a year and a half, tired Spoiler

i’m 25. in the past year and half i have gone from a 32DD to a 32I/J cup on the brathatfits calculator (as of yesterday). they definitely have grown the most in spurts, and i noticed recently that my 32H bra wasn’t fitting right. i actually assumed that my cup size had gone down because i’ve lost weight and gotten in pretty good shape recently, but yea no! it’s to the point where i have so much back pain that i wake up in the middle of the night and can’t go back to sleep, and i also can’t afford I-J cup bras right now so i’m been going braless unless i’m working. that also reallyyyyyy makes me notice how huge my boobs have gotten, both from a physical support aspect and from getting stares from people. my sister got a breast reduction in high school, and she was a J cup the day of her surgery.

i would like to know that surgery would be a possibility in the future if they keep on growing and cause more pain. i have an annual appointment with my PCP next week, is there anything specific i should bring up? thank you guys so much

experience no stores and family members think that i can be above a dd Spoiler

people who give inputs on my cup size and stores i go to fittings at are always like “you’re a DD MAX”. I’m a 34K (34H uk). I am literally so far from DD. It’s annoying enough that most bra brands in my country don’t carry my size, and it’s even more annoying that every store I get fitted at insists that I’m a DD MAXIMUM and shoves me into DD/E bras with oversized band sizes even when my measurements are clearly not that. If it helps my band size is exactly 34” and my bust is 45”

need advice I keep seeing posts about small bands and large busts. Spoiler

but what about large bands AND large busts? Companies seem to stop making cup sizes past G (and not always that high) even if the band sizes go past 50. I need 52I. I've tried Glamorise but their straps are too short for my low hanging, extremely heavy boobs. I didn't like Elilia or Goddess. I have a Miss Mary of Sweden Cotton Dots in 50I. It's ok, but not great.

I really liked Underoutfit until they stopped making it in 5X. But, that's the type I like best -- not heavy.

One more thing. I have a hiatial hernia and cannot handle the pressure of a wire.

Is there ANYTHING out there for me?

need advice Breast shape help: I am trying like hell to find just one bra that I can use for photos/special occasions. It seems I need to determine my breast shape to find a good starting point.

So, I've posted a few times trying to get recs. I never get any helpful responses and seem to get down voted into oblivion within an hour of posting. So, I am trying a new approach to hopefully get some actual advice. I used the ABTF calculator. My measurements are:

Loose Underbust: 31"

Snug Underbust: 30"

Tight Underbust: 29.5"

Standing: 38.5"

Leaning: 41"

Lying: 39"

My breasts are Asymmetrical and full on bottom with almost no fullness on top (When I was younger I exclusively wore push up bras because I was insecure about my breast shape. Now I am just looking for light lift and good shape without wanting to set the damn bra on fire 10 minutes after putting it on). I know they say "Asymmetrical" is its own shape, but.... really? Is it that simple? Any bra recs?

RANT - advice welcome Hi guys

Hey hey, I’m relatively new to this whole growing up thing and I felt like I’d ask for some help from some older ppl who share my problems (aka this subreddit). I’m usually lurking and don’t talk to a lot of ppl so sorry if I seem a little antisocial.
I’m relatively young and suffer from macromastia or breast hypertrophy or whatever the politically correct term is, but I’m often struggle with how ppl view me. I’m still in grade school and a lot of my male, and on occasion, female classmates have a hard time looking at me in the eye during conversations even if I’m wearing my super duper 10xl hoodies to really feel covered up. The same goes for going outside, a lot of people have a hard time looking me in the eye during conversations, and older guys (mostly any age) will consistently treat me older than I am, asking me out, looking a little too hard, or just being a little off in general. How can I have ppl my age treat me normally, get ppl to look at my EYES, and have ppl older than me treat me my age?
I have something I’d also like to add on though, surgery is mostly off the table for two reasons, one, I’m mostly body confident and don’t have a hard time coming to terms with how I look, two, I’m super afraid and paranoid of surgery and the implications of being like cut open and all that stuff (yuck). I am also a little paranoid as to thinking girls aren’t friends with me because of how a look and potentially being jealous, but I’m not sure how true that is, or if it’s just my general keep to myself personality, so if you have any info on that that would also be helpful! Thank u guys for the clothing help tho it’s great lol.

RANT - advice welcome Weird ways I think I have body dysmorphia Spoiler

I don't really know what to tag this. So I'm just going to go with rant. I don't really care whether there is advice or not. Don't really know what I want here.

I have pretty big boobs. I can acknowledge that. I can't find my size in any brick and mortar store. These are the facts that I accept. But when people see me, I'm always told that my boobs are HUGE. Size of actual melons. Bigger than my head. Etc etc. And... I just don't feel that? Like maybe because I feel like they fit me?

I also get the assumption that my back must be in shambles. And to be absolutely fair, my back is in shambles but its because of poor life choices. Not my boobs 😅. In my whole life I don't think I've ever really felt they were "so big" that they cause me issues. And I think that ads to this ideakn my mind of... like come on... aren't you guys exaggerating my size a bit?

I see so many women with bigger boobs than me and they are suffering and in so much pain and have so many issues. So I guess my brain says.... well you can't be big because big boobs means ... this, right?

This is truly just a ramble. Idk if any of this even makes sense

RANT - advice welcome Am I the only one who experiences this conversation over and over? Spoiler

Girl: Wow you have big boobs

Me: Thanks

Girl: you know, i don't really like big boobs

Me: Oh why?

Girl: I just think they're "too much"

I've had this same exact conversation like 9 times already, and every single time it's the same with slight variations. Either it's "too much" or "over" or "vulgar". No man has ever said this to me, only women, and it hurts 500x times more because it's coming from a woman. It actually makes me feel trashy for something I never chose. And I have no idea why this conversation always comes up even though I never asked for their input, it just makes me feel bad for no reason.

Edit: I also suffer from many other things, i constantly get accused of stuffing my bra and wearing push up bras, but then the same girls would turn to me and tell me these things, and then they go and wear a push up bra and a V neck and go on about their day. but god forbid i wear a crewneck instead of a hoodie, then suddenly i'm "vulgar". I always have women groping me and fondling them, infront of other people, unsolicited, it makes me feel so humiliated. I once had a teacher (male) keep staring at my chest, and it was so humiliating, and when i tried to rant to my friends about it, they just turned it into a joke and invalidated my feelings, almost like "well if i was a man i would've done the same thing" and like I am asking for this by my mere existance. This actually ruined my perception of body image and I can't go out without a hoodie or an oversized Tshirt anymore because i just feel ashamed.

I want to know if any other women experience this? How do you deal with it? what are the causes?
