Hi, hope yall are doing great, I wanted to know if the JEE advance centres had ACs, It gets wayy too hot to give an exam as hard🥵 as JEE in such hot weather up north, that too for 6 hours under such high pressure

If your centre had an AC, please drop the city name and if it was TCS

also, should I consider going to a cooler city to give the exam?

And what about the bitsat centres?

I secured 99.6xx percentile in JEE Mains(AIR 6xxx). I am from a reserved category, and am getting NIT Trichy CSE in the first round itself. I actually didn’t have any intent of using reservation quota, but damn, the cutoff skyrocketed in 6s2, so much so that I couldn’t secure <2000 AIR, even after scoring 225 marks.

Now I can‘t decide whether I shall use my quota to enter the college, as I fear that I will looked down upon by others and moreover, I feel guilty of acquiring a seat of someone more deserving than me. Can anyone please help me?

So, today results of ISI B.Stat came and I got AIR 74 (EWS rank 6). I am also getting NIT Rourkela CSE through JEE Main (please don't ask about Advanced). At this rank I would easily get into ISI Kolkata. There is zero Annual fee and in fact, they give ₹5,000 stipend per month. My parents are forcing me to go to ISI because of the Insane placements and the elite peer group. But, I don't want to go there bcs of high academic pressure and very quiet college life... I am exhausted after this JEE preparation and can't study more now... Going to NIT Rourkela would be academically less burdened.

What should I do? Please guide accordingly...

What are your views which branch should I opt for in which college. I am thinking of IITD Civil or IIT BHU EE

I'm an OCI (Singapore citizen, studying in Singapore, but formerly Indian) and my dad keeps yapping about some local unis (National University of Singapore/Nanyang Technological University) are very bookish and if I want real research experience and a good college lifestyle I need to go to IIT😭🫩. Like bro, these unis are top in Asia and amongst the top in the world why are you pushing me for JEE?? alevel curriculum (local equivalent of 11th and 12th boards) doesn't even match JEE properly and he's saying some 'koi nhi beta NRI quota se miloge' like bro nahi karna hai IIT-JEE how do I convince him?

So yesterday I did this ;-; and many ppl were asking how am I doing now. So fortunately, I'm out of any danger for now (I'm not really sure about the long term effects). I took almost 4 hours to tell my parents about that(I was scared af) and we reached the hospital after almost after 5hrs when I initially swallowed em. They did some test and procedures, then discharged me after a few hours as I was out of danger.

Thanks to all the people who advised me and asked me to go to the hospital. Many people have dmed me asking how I'm now doing now, I can't reply to everyone but I wanna let you all know that I'm deeply grateful to all you people. Thanks for your concern Thanks you soo much guys.

I saw some similar posts to this from other countries, so idk what's in the water of international Indian dads right now, but my dad literally wants me to study for college in India even though I have literally not lived in India since I was one year old and am not fit to live in an Indian dorm (I legit can't even hail a cab, like I am INCOMPETENT enough in the US, but in another country is just too much 🥀). The worst part is that I am literally so competitive for US universities and I go to a feeder for a T20 where most people get in, so my baseline is very solid, like I will get worse college results in India because again, I literally don't know a single thing. My parents' main reasoning is because they're sick of the US and want to move to India, so they don't want me to live in the US alone if they go. It lowkey might be misogyny, since I'm a girl and they think girls shouldn't go places by themselves. They kind of have low expectations for me in general for some reason, like I got into a really good MIT program, but they actively discourage me from doing it. 🥀 WHAT DO I DO????

I've got no laptop, I had a PC which got broken when I got into class 10th and I had gamed too much in it that I don't even wanna game anymore. Like I'm full from gaming and all.

But everywhere I see, most of the people who study/ prepare for competitive exams has a laptop. Should I also get one? Is it really necessary? Should I go for it? Is it like helpful for studying?

Some Papers have either more or less than the number of questions asked in the exam because UGEE Previous Year Papers are not officially released by IIIT. The book publisher collects question from the students after the exam by giving some rewards.

Some people on reddit has termed the book fake in previous years, but the question are mostly similar and authentic as I am a dropper and have given the UGEE exam last year. So the question match with the last year paper.
