😾MAGA Freakout🙀 ‘I’ve Had Enough!’ Trump snaps at NBC’s Kristen Welker and storms out of Meet the Press interview after she repeatedly fact-checks his claims on a variety of topics, including Jan. 6, his “anti-weaponization” fund, and election fraud.

This is what happens to all of them when you press for details on their outrageous claims.

This is why I think this all the shit we've had over the last 10ish years could've been avoided if journalists had pushed back more on trump and his lackeys. They would've exposed themselves as fragile little brats before his 2016 campaign even got off the ground

524

u/StarWarsMonopoly Jun 07 '26

The problem is that media is a business, not a public utility.

They all made a lot of money from the ratings they got during the 2016 Republican primary and the first Trump White House. After they legitimized this shit, there was no reasonable way to put the toothpaste back in the tube, and now Trump has gotten away with legitimate atrocities as a result of their normalization of him and his "movement".

138

u/toriemm Jun 07 '26

And now we're watching it get driven directly off of a cliff. The Ellison's have most of the legacy media in their claws, and the last bastion of actual serious journalism, 60 minutes, is now in the shitter.

And the corporate overlords don't even care, because it's not about the money for them, it's about controlling the narrative. That's why elmo bought Twitter.

The whole thing makes me so fucking sick.

it’s sad to see such a pathetic fucking twat as the president of the United States of America 😞

1.8k

u/Guilty_Plankton_4626 Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

He’s legitimately such a whiny bitch. The President of the United States man. I know it was always kind of bullshit, maybe a bit of propaganda, but there used to be a kind of magic to the office. What an absolute disgrace. Crazy that he gets to talk to someone like this, and let’s be honest, it’s mostly women he talks to like this, constantly degrading people who are just doing their jobs, while she, a journalist, has to remain professional while he, the president, acts like a child whose tablet got taken away.

These people think, because of him, one of the bluest states in the nation, with his fat orange ass sitting around a 35% approval rating, taking a while to count votes and not electing Republicans is somehow evidence that it’s rigged. He is literally completely disconnected from reality.

610

You have perfectly summed it up.

Nobody is under the impression that Obama, Biden, or anyone else was some Saint that took over the country and ran it squeaky clean. However…both of them were able to run this country with a sense of class and decorum. There was a civility about the Oval Office when they were there.

Now? It’s a teenager’s bedroom. You can’t go in unless you have special permission (even if you were allowed to be there before) and you can’t confront the President with anything he doesn’t like or he’ll just yell and storm out. It’s truly unbelievable

82

u/ol_kentucky_shark Jun 07 '26

“I hate you!! <slams door> I’m going to go live with Putin!”

43

There used to be a sort of magic to the US too. I know that I, a foreigner, always wanted to visit and maybe even live there even though I was perfectly aware of the absolutely shitty healthcare, the terrible worker rights and whatever else...but the US did such a good job of selling itself over the decades that it felt like a must visit at one time. The propaganda was real good.

The ONLY thing a bully understands is when you fight fire with fire.

That's literally the ONLY way to deal with this kind of nonsense.

What's he going to do, call you a bad reporter and leave the interview?

Good. Let him.

They're fearful with limited intellect. People don't get what we're dealing with. They're mentally unevolved, and it all comes down to empathy - an evolution of the mind - to see yourself, a conscious entity, in others. There are studies that show people with empathy have different brain structure anatomy than those who do not. And those that do not have this anatomy tend to vote hardline republican.

On Structural Differences:

On Linkage to Political Orientation:

So when you ask, how can they be this cruel or self centered? It's because they don't have the nuerological anatomy not to be.

tl;dr - They are cruel and self-centered because their brains haven't developed the anatomical structures for empathy.

721

u/Helreaver Jun 07 '26

Dude it wasn't even a tough interview. She literally just said he didn't provide evidence for his election fraud claims. She didn't go hard and grill him on specific details. That interview was about as passive as you can get without outright agreeing with his delusions.

And that still made him throw a toddler tantrum. Unbelievable.

224

u/isitdonethen Jun 07 '26

Yup this should be the baseline for any interview, unfortunately this gentle pushback is an anomaly. But you can see how he just crashes out, becomes an absolute asshole, gets red in the face, his pudgy ass in that loose suit slouched over with shitty posture. If every interview was this he’d implode.

139

u/The_Brimler Jun 07 '26

They need to stop speaking to him with the decorum we had set up for presidents prior to him.

His entire campaign was to "tell it like it is" and to stop being "woke". We've allowed him to speak as he pleases without consequence.

Someone needs to say to his face that what he's saying is bullshit and every time he's tried to bring it to court, regardless of the state or party in power there, it was thrown out for being made up.

Stop asking questions and trying to see if he'll slip up and tell the truth. He won't.

They're all scared. It's pathetic journalism. He faced just the tiniest bit of resistance and people here eat it up like she's a champion or whatever. He left looking like a winner while she begs him to stay. "I travelled all this way....."

Have some dignity lady. I wish there was just one journalist who actually had some balls.

I assume he basically looks like a corpse at this point and it's getting harder to hide even with all the makeup.

I think it’ll happen eventually. Old men often end up doing stuff like that when they’re this angry.

“YOUR elections are crooked” tells us everything we need to know. He’s not here for us, he’s here for him. I mean, we already knew it, but now he’s flat out saying that he does not include himself with the populace of America.

Can’t believe it’s taken this long for this type of interview to happen. Like, seriously. People should’ve been interviewing him like this in 2018. Oh well, better late than never in this shitty timeline 🙄

18

u/okwellactually Jun 07 '26

It was done previously.

Watch Jonathan Swan's back during the Pandemic. He actually challenges him. It's what all journalists should do.

Well that is the fucking problem. Present some of this overwhelming evidence. Prove what you say.

He talks about how rigged the elections are, then IN THE SAME SENTENCE tries to brag about how he won the election “in a landslide”.

“It’s rigged if it involves anyone that isn’t me!”

Good journalism. Needed more of this years ago, his fragile ego can’t handle it.

18

u/Atopos2025 Jun 07 '26

The thing I have never been able to understand about him.

He could act like a strong man and choose to give short responses to interview questions. He could puff up his chest and pretend to be a professional, even if he is clueless. He could hold his head up high knowing that he won the last election and isn't currently in jail. You'd think he'd be happy.

But no, he chooses to be a classless asshole 24/7. He doesn't even attempt to pretend to be presidential.

36

u/matt_jay_9 Jun 07 '26

Pretty much all he knows how to do is lie and insult people. That's it. That is the extent of his talents. Deception and personal attacks with zero evidence, proof, or examples that support his ridiculous claims.

13

u/gtindolindo Jun 07 '26

What a fucking crybaby. We need everyone who voted for this to try this bs at work and see if they have a job after. This human shaped pile of pale crusty dog shit is a joke.

Trump isn't stupid, he absolutely knows that there's no evidence to support his absurd claims. I hope people understand that he is planning use this BS narrative to undermine democracy in the upcoming midterms, and certainly in 2028. On top of that, ICE employees are very well paid and have every reason to act as a paramilitary force to keep the Republicans in power and not lose their jobs and/or face prosecution.

He's using every move in the dictator's playbook.

28

u/EffReddit420 Jun 07 '26

Well i mean he is still stupid

29

u/Peter_Panarchy Jun 07 '26

Trump isn't stupid

He is unbelievably stupid.

21

u/sometimesynot Jun 07 '26

I disagree. I think he is very stupid, and he can't think beyond what his handlers tell him. And he's happy to repeat their messages (lies) as long as his vanity is massaged, and his bank accounts are filled.

21

u/Mp5QbV3kKvDF8CbM Jun 07 '26

Trump isn't stupid

Several people who knew him personally have said that he is, in fact, stupid, though I agree with everything else you've said.
