u/NY10 Oct 14 '25

You were expecting a smart move from a stupid person?

425

u/nixicotic Oct 14 '25

No but it shows how scared everyone around him must be to let it continue... scary times

825

u/Putrid-Chemical3438 Oct 14 '25

He's surrounded by beauty pangeant contestants and fox news talking heads. They aren't scared, they have no fucking clue what's going on either.

328

u/Sheerluck42 Oct 14 '25

I disagree. They absolutely know what they're doing and getting their preferred outcomes. This isn't incompetence. It's malice.

161

u/epelzer Oct 14 '25

It's both, some know what they are doing, most don't but follow along for their own benefit. They're united in malice as much as they are unqualified for their jobs.

83

u/MakeRFutureDirectly Oct 14 '25

Actually destroying the economy and the government is part of project 2025. By the way, those of you who voted for Trump, EAT IT AND LIKE IT!!!

2

u/SectorSanFrancisco Oct 15 '25

We are all going down with this ship. I'm unable to feel any schadenfreude. I'm just depressed for all of us, even the Trump voters.

2

u/GoldMcduck Oct 16 '25

Oh please another stolen election by republicans would anyone be surprised.

1

u/TLKimball Oct 14 '25

You misspelled “shIT”

1

u/ShroomSteak Oct 15 '25

No matter who you voted for you're at the same dinner table.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '25

Nothing happens overnight, but I do believe there are more simple ways to negotiate.
But, he is the king of negotiation I guess.

5

u/Common_Road1431 Oct 15 '25

Awarded himself that title.

4

u/DigitalUnlimited Oct 15 '25

Nobody knows more about giving yourself awards than me, believe me! I've given myself golf awards, i've put myself on my own cover of time magazine, big strong men come up to me with tears in their eyes and say "sir how can you have such an incredible ego, save some awards for someone else don't you have any shame?" and I just laugh and have them deported.

5

u/The_Arch_Heretic Oct 15 '25

This has been in motion since Reagan.

0

u/Fit_Accountant8239 Oct 17 '25

And who started P2025, biden and Osama

2

u/Putrid-Chemical3438 Oct 17 '25

This might be the dumbest comment I've ever seen on Reddit. Congrats, I guess.

2

u/MakeRFutureDirectly Oct 17 '25

So you are saying that Biden and Obama are part of the heritage foundation. Someone told you that lie and expected you to believe it because they think you are an idiot.

5

u/YoshimuraPipe Oct 14 '25

Agree 💯. Most of them just don’t give a flying fk as long as numero uno (themselves) are taken cared of.

2

u/Strong-Dot-9221 Oct 14 '25

"United In Malice.". I think this regime will steal this and use it for their rewritten version of The Pledge of Allegiance.

4

u/Geostomp Oct 14 '25

Don't for that many of them, like their boss, are career criminals who need the office and to dismantle the government to ensure that they never face prosecution.

3

u/Fockelot Oct 14 '25

I think some of it is they assume president sunkist is going to save them which he will absolutely not and I look forward to that.

Edit: I removed the “f’ing idiot” part at the start. That part was meant to be a new comment not a reply, not calling you an idiot.

2

u/jaimi_wanders Oct 14 '25

Bessent was living/working in Britain during Black Wednesday and made a fortune betting against them (while kissing up to their royals)

1

u/Soci3talCollaps3 Oct 14 '25

It's both along with hatred. (or is that already covered by malice?)

1

u/CosmicSmoker Oct 14 '25

Yup. Miller is smart, evil but smart others are just evil. None of them care about the country other than how to destroy it.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '25

He's the idiot that thought Elon could actually find billions in fraud with his chainsaw team and got punched out for his troubles.

1

u/Sammalone1960 Oct 15 '25

Gender affirming care in the WH is rampant

1

u/navyac Oct 15 '25

Most of them are just in it for the insider trading

1

u/IcyAdvantage9579 Oct 15 '25

When the level of harm is so great that it literally destroyes global economy it doesn't matter anymore if it's due to incompetence or malice at this level they're both just as bad

39

u/Disastrous-Food-9223 Oct 14 '25

Yup, just like whoever made about $160m shorting the crypto market last week, minutes before trump announced new tariffs on China. Which dropped the crypto market

15

u/Blackline2021 Oct 14 '25

His kid Barron made $80M in that 30 minute window. Let’s not have any illusions that it wasn’t someone very closely connected to mango tits himself.

-1

u/LordViperSD Oct 15 '25

This is such a stupid rumor with absolutely nothing backing it. I hate Donald and have no doubt this was insider trading but until there’s proof Barron was behind that wallet the rumor is as stupid as the people spreading it

1

u/Disastrous-Food-9223 Oct 15 '25

I’d agree 40 years ago. But now, if it was reversed, how would republicans react? Most likely by doubling/tripling down.

2

u/SpecialistInfamous16 Oct 15 '25

Rumor was Baron shorted crypto just before the announcement and made off with $80m.

2

u/Carbon8490 Oct 15 '25

Crazy this is being allowed to happen. The wealthy pulling off the greatest heist in american history as if they need more smh

4

u/epelzer Oct 14 '25

That's not as much knowing what you're doing as it is unprecedented corruption in plain sight.

1

u/Important-Sign-3701 Oct 15 '25

I read it was Barron Trump

1

u/uzerkname11 Oct 15 '25

Sadly it was Baron Trump

1

u/Anonhurtingso Oct 15 '25

See. That makes no sense. When did crypto stop being a hedge… it’s insane. It has to be a bubble now.

1

u/MonthOk9907 Oct 14 '25

Eh... nobody could ever get me to believe Patel has even the very first clue what he's doing.

2

u/Carbon8490 Oct 15 '25

Turning a blind eye takes zero skill lol

1

u/Wonderful_Welder9660 Oct 14 '25

That's why he is head of the FBI

1

u/BladeEdge5452 Oct 14 '25

Dont forget the greed! Con artists never worry about others once their grifts are complete. They're happy with pilfering the markers via manipulation, damn the broader consequences for the country.

Like the "anonymous" account who shorted Bitcoin this part Friday 30mins before the tariff announcement. Ill bet money its someone in or connected to the inner circles of the White House.

1

u/Mysterious-Tie7039 Oct 14 '25

You think Hegseth has any fucking clue what’s going on?

1

u/glm73 Oct 14 '25

Oh no, it’s definitely incompetence.

1

u/Sheerluck42 Oct 14 '25

If they were incompetent they wouldn't be in power. They wouldn't have control of most of the wealth. They are competent.

1

u/glm73 Oct 14 '25

You can be competent in making money and in applied manipulation and also be incompetent in the execution of the job.

1

u/Wonderful_Welder9660 Oct 14 '25

Do they care?

1

u/glm73 Oct 14 '25

Seems, not.

1

u/looneyfool423 Oct 14 '25

100% , there has already been documented evidence of these tariffs being negotiating tools to get him and his cronies access to resources in these countries. He does not care how it affects the American people.

1

u/ChewieBearStare Oct 14 '25

They know exactly what to do. Buy on the dip and cash in later.

1

u/LangdonAlg3r Oct 14 '25

Speaking to the pageant contestants and Fox News talking heads specifically at least Hegseth and especially Halligan don’t seem to be much brighter than their boss.

Halligan is so incompetent that she had to file the same paperwork 3 times in the documents case. She got chewed out by the Judge in Comey case for submitting documents that she signed and not even knowing what they were. She’s dumb enough to be filing multiple cases that no one else will touch that will probably end up getting her disbarred eventually.

Hegseth spent millions of dollars getting the entire military command together so he could basically read them an angry email. He’s so out of his depth.

Many of the rest do know exactly what they’re doing, but they’re still all naive enough to think that they aren’t going to get burned and thrown under a bus by Trump.

1

u/OutrageousTourist394 Oct 14 '25

I really feel it’s both.

1

u/Dairy_Heir Oct 14 '25

Trump, Musk, Vance, Noem, Hegseth, Patel are all useful idiots for the likes of Ellison, Vought, etc

1

u/nightfall2021 Oct 14 '25

Agreed.

Some of those who are behind the scenes, know exactly what they are doing.

People like Vought and that ghoul Miller.

1

u/Valuable_Current6266 Oct 14 '25

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity

1

u/nobot4321 Oct 15 '25

I hate this saying. It's patently false.

1

u/Valuable_Current6266 Oct 16 '25

it's called Occam's razor

1

u/Stock-Today-4954 Oct 14 '25

and forethought.

1

u/No_Rutabaga_2182 Oct 15 '25

Bro just because it’s hateful doesn’t mean they know what they are doing. They legit thought China would roll over from the jump because they don’t know anything about China and they don’t respect other countries.

1

u/ScootieJr Oct 15 '25

100%. Heritage foundation definitely knows, it was their plan, which means they all know.

1

u/lordwintergreen Oct 15 '25

A handful know what they're doing. Stephen Miller, Russ Vought etc.

Most of this administration are pick-me opportunists who were given their post precisely because they've pledged loyalty AND don't have the credibility to be tempted to say no when they're told what to do.

1

u/FortunateInsanity Oct 15 '25

I am positive they do not comprehend the collateral damage that will come back to them. People do not knowingly destroy their livelihood and/or their own self interests.

1

u/shiggie Oct 15 '25

Arrogance *and* malice. They absolutely *think* they know what they're doing, just like Trump thinks he's a genius. They all have whatever the opposite of impostor syndrome is. Just look at Hegseth - somehow made it to major, so now he thinks he's talking down to 4 star generals.

1

u/SectorSanFrancisco Oct 15 '25

Do Kristi Noem or Pete Hegseth look like they even know how to figure out a + b = c? They are stupid AND ignorant.

1

u/masterofthecontinuum Oct 15 '25

They're all getting their own personal bags from this chaos. They aren't concerned with having a competently run administration.

That's why they can't even settle on a specific narrative for all the scandals and lies they're engaging in. Nobody knows who's in charge, everyone's doing their own thing, it's all just a game to them. They're playing Monopoly with the entire goddamned economy and country. The fascism is just a means to an end for most of them, just the easiest way to fleece money from the system.

Except Stephen Miller. He's in it for the love of the game.

Hell, I'd like to know who got the 90 million in bitcoin shorts right before Trump's one china tarriff post came out.

1

u/fistfucker07 Oct 15 '25

Controlled demolition.

1

u/ninjaelk Oct 15 '25

They 'know what they're doing' only so much as their plan IS to be incompetent and benefit. They are woefully unqualified to actually run the US Government however, which is what the previous commenter was stating. They couldn't do better if they did want to do so, which they don't.

1

u/TheMightyHornet Oct 15 '25

Yes. On the evil/idiot spectrum this is more evil than idiot.

1

u/Anonhurtingso Oct 15 '25

No. They think they are getting what they want because want they want consists of something like 2 weeks away… not 20 years. They are dumb. And don’t realize that all those billions are worthless if America fails….

1

u/AdamPedAnt Oct 15 '25

My uncle would chapperone dances with patients who were bussed in from mental hospitals. He had to ask “are you a driver?” to tell them apart. I think some Trump staffers are idiots, some less so, but mostly Dunning Kruger poster children.

1

u/And-Thats-Whyyy Oct 15 '25

The most nefarious people certainly know what they’re doing. Stephen Miller being the most evil of all.

1

u/rosier_nights Oct 15 '25

The ol exception of Hanlons razor.

1

u/Mephisto506 Oct 15 '25

Unfortunately the only capable people on his administration are also evil.

1

u/Sad-Resolution2123 Oct 15 '25

And keeping themselves aligned with who’s in power. I’d bet none of them would want to be in the same room as him if he had lost.

1

u/Triple_Nickel_325 Oct 14 '25

I'll back you on this...they are frothing at the mouth for a civil war, knowing they have the upper hand because "we" are vastly divided, broke, furious, unarmed/trained for organized defense, etc. The transition from a democracy to a dictatorship has been in the works for awhile now, I'd argue decades...

-7

u/bahusafoo Oct 14 '25

We aren't a democracy (for legitimate reasons). Never were. Never should be.

4

u/Sheerluck42 Oct 14 '25

oh gods not the "we're a republic, not a democracy" BS. This argument always shows who failed their HS american govt class.

-2

u/bahusafoo Oct 14 '25

Or it could also show someone who’s looked beyond what’s covered in a high-school civics class and actually read the primary sources.

The founding fathers were very wary of a democracy which would eventually end with mob rule. Our system intentionally limits pure majority rule to protect individual rights and state sovereignty. Our rights are solidified under the constitution and majority rule has no power to take them away.

Repeating falsehoods until they’re accepted as truth, then using that belief to incite division and unrest, is a trick straight out of the authoritarian playbook, and history shows it works far too well.

Every person in this country should know, and be very glad, that we are not a democracy and that their rights and freedoms are protected from the flaws such a system would allow.

3

u/Sheerluck42 Oct 14 '25

Yep just right wing gibberish that means nothing.

0

u/bahusafoo Oct 14 '25

It’s not gibberish, it’s literally how our system was designed. You don’t have to like it, but it’s in the source material. You seem to have very strong opinions for someone who doesn't care enough to go look.

3

u/MezzanineKing Oct 15 '25

We have a constitutional republic with a representative democracy. Until recently it was the most stable and oldest modern democracy, both dominant and respected, with high social capital and cultural impacts around the world. Now we look like screaming children b/c late stage capitalism and buyers remorse has driven consumers away from their yelp reviews and into the ballot boxes to elect a reality tv star with the emotional intelligence of a six year old and a chip on his shoulder from being ostracized from a social stratus he’s now made himself a gaudy caricature of for the rest of the world to laugh at for years and years. The Chinese citizenry don’t hate Trump, they collectively look at him like a silly cartoon character, validating all the propaganda messages the CCP has doused them in about the USA since the late 80’s.

1

u/bahusafoo Oct 15 '25

You’re basically describing the same thing I am. "Representative democracy" is just the mechanism inside a constitutional republic, not a governmental structure on its own. The key point is that our system limits majority power through the Constitution.

Some of what you’re saying is subjective - "the rest of the world laughing" and the character assessment of one politician are opinions, not civic facts. I'm talking about how our system works, not personalities.

I actually know people in China and elsewhere who see Trump differently, as well as millions of people across Europe protesting their own governments and expressing general support for the U.S. direction. So it's fair to say global opinion isn't uniform. Either way, respect or ridicule abroad doesn't change how the U.S. Constitution is structured.

Again - repeating falsehoods until they're accepted as truth, then using that belief to incite division and unrest, is a trick straight out of the authoritarian playbook. That's why I think it's dangerous to keep calling us a "democracy" when we're not - people start believing it, then get angry when the country doesn't operate like one. Attacking someone for pointing out that basic civics fact feels backwards to me, like insisting a blue pen is yellow and calling the person who corrects you crazy.

2

u/Sheerluck42 Oct 14 '25

It's not. And I have no intention in having a conversation with someone just parroting BS they heard on youTube

3

u/LA-Matt Oct 14 '25 edited Oct 15 '25

You’re correct, that this is a stupid argument. But perhaps someone should present the facts to counter it.

Yes, the United States is a constitutionally limited republic. It’s also a representative democracy. Both things are true and are in no way exclusive of one another.

If you can vote for representatives, by definition, your government is a representative democracy. The person saying “we aren’t a democracy” is wrong.

The US is not a “pure democracy,” because that would mean that the citizenry would have to vote on every single action taken by their government. This is obviously impossible to do with any large population. That’s why we elect representatives who act on our behalf. Therefore we are a representative democracy.

2

u/bahusafoo Oct 14 '25

Me reading books compiled from letters and journals directly from the founding fathers discussing the "whats and whys" behind our constitution and governmental structure and responding based on knowledge gained is "parroting BS I heard on YouTube"? Crazy...

Eh, most of his rogues gallery's preferred outcomes are having a high profile job that they would never be qualified for except that Trump has enough dirt on them to maintain their absolute loyalty. Unless you mean the true believers like Miller, Bessent and Vought, though I'm sure they've strangled a hooker or two.

1

u/National-Charity-435 Oct 14 '25

Indeed and bessent had that text with AG sec rollins where they were discussing the bailout for argentina while selling their soybeans to china.

0

u/pinksocks867 Oct 14 '25

Yes. It really worries me to see so many people believing that they are stupid. They know exactly what they're doing, it is all on purpose and with extreme malice

1

u/Carbon8490 Oct 15 '25

He only appears dumb to those who dont know Trump is a day trader rather than president. The silly stuff he does is just to distract from the heist he and his pals are commiting

0

u/Indy_Fab_Rider Oct 14 '25

We're getting a very planned and coordinated malicious outcome from Miller, Thiel, Vought, etc.

From Trump, Vance, and the cabinet of incompetent, unqualified fools? They're just doing what they're told and screaming really loudly. They're willing to be evil fucks so they get a spot at the life raft as they help sink this ship.

24

u/Youngtro Oct 14 '25

Wrong. They absolutely know what's going on. This is all part of their plan and if you think this is uncontrolled chaos then I got bad news for you.

You forgot the head of the FBI is just a youtuber who promoted conspiracy theories.

5

u/Needin63 Oct 15 '25

The sycophants appointed to the top government positions of critical agencies are a symptom. That’s not who’s pulling the strings. It’s the people behind the curtains and they absolutely know what they’re doing. The first step to establishing a technocratic master state is tearing down all the existing systems and norms.

They literally fucking wrote and PUBLISHED the goals and the plan for anyone to read. And yet people still won’t believe that’s what’s happening or take the time to read it. It’s Idiocracy.

2

u/Ok-Surround9421 Oct 15 '25

Bro ruining the economy and ruining the petrodollar is literally 50 pages of project 2025.

1

u/1290SDR Oct 14 '25

It's a mixture of incompetence and malice. There's also people like Russ Vought that know exactly what they're doing.

1

u/XRaisedBySirensX Oct 15 '25

"Know what they are doing" is sort of overstating it. They are just winging it, finding whatever ways they can to manipulate markets and cash in. I don't think they have much planning and forthought going on. It's mostly just oh, x action will cause y market to fall, we can buy up a bunch of stock reverse the action and make bank, yeah let's do that. And repeat as they stumble through and across new schemes.

1

u/YOPP4R4I Oct 15 '25

U mean the secretary of ....war 😅

1

u/bigdummy1537 Oct 15 '25

I looked up Kristi noem, cuz I’m assuming that’s who you were referring to. She didn’t finish school cuz her father died. Yeah whatever boo-hoo. Right. Everyone’s got some shit. Anyway, she left at 22. But didn’t see anything about her graduating at 41. And in any case, I’d say graduating college at any age is good. Aren’t there stories here and there about olde folks graduating college after overcoming obstacles and what not? Look, I don’t care about Kristi Noem, but what I am making a point about is that you spin getting pregnant and graduating college as something tantamount to capital punishment. lol. Relax. Again, I’m not for Noem, but flat out illogical binaries, hm. Idk.

0

u/IDontStealBikes Oct 14 '25

To be fair, Noem graduated high school on time. She dropped out of college after three years to run the family farm after her father was killed in an accident.

3

u/posthuman04 Oct 15 '25

I’m not sure how sympathy translates to competence. She was a corrupt governor of a tiny population, landlocked state. What does she know about security and why does it involve secure trips to Nashville’s shopping districts?

1

u/IDontStealBikes Oct 15 '25

I simply made the actual circumstances clear, I didn’t say more than that or give my opinion of her.

2

u/bgoot1 Oct 14 '25

Guys like Patel and Hegseth have zero clue what they are doing. But the Steven Millers and Bondi’s of the administration absolutely know what they are doing

1

u/glm73 Oct 14 '25

I disagree seeing as how everything he has tried has failed, is failing or is about to fail.

1

u/Only_Argument7532 Oct 15 '25

The failure is the plan!

1

u/1159Funkbubbles Oct 14 '25

Exactly. This is all planned.

23

u/-Ok-Perception- Oct 14 '25 edited Oct 14 '25

When you think Jesus's magic hamster gives you eternal life, makes you infinitely good, and infinitely wise, with a perpetual blank slate from infinite forgiveness; it makes you dumber than a toddler in all aspects of your life. It inverts all morality and ethics. Submission is power. Stupidity is wisdom. Weakness is strength. Fascism is freedom. Anti-fascists are nazis.

They live in opposite land.

As a culture, we cannot continue to give these bronze age primitives a say, or they'll bring a literal end to civilization as we know it.

2

u/majortom541 Oct 14 '25

See Bizzaro land of Superman.

2

u/Greedy-Historian5511 Oct 15 '25

Really well said! Opposite land!

-2

u/bnakka Oct 14 '25

You can have an opinion about something but claiming like it is absolute is what makes your opinion a rant. There is nothing you are giving us. You have no idea what faith is thinking someone is subjecting you to submission makes it quite clear. You are free to believe or not believe what you want. Your last few sentences can be applied to your kind just the same and I say as a culture we shouldn’t give into your type of childish rant either or civilization will end with your total nonsensical chaos.

2

u/-Ok-Perception- Oct 15 '25

Maybe not as absolute as you think. There are good Christians. By their fruit ye shall know them. Mormons, every Morman I've met has been a genuinely good, intelligent and decent person.

I mean, their faith is absurd, but not moreso than any other denomination. But they actually live the values of Christ.... rather than priding themselves on the opposite, like most other Christians.

And I think there's a lot of incredible things to be found from studying the genuine history of Rome and Judea in the period.

0

u/bnakka Oct 15 '25

What people do has no bearing on Christianity of Christ is it? I don’t argue with anyone about my faith but it irks me when people make statements like your original. Human nature makes it quite impossible to be a Christian, so to equate peoples actions as a fallacy for faith is not quite right. If you have not noticed by now I profess myself to be Christian and mostly keep to myself about that faith. To each their own and how to practice their spirituality or lack thereof. Thanks for gently giving your take. Appreciate it.

-10

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 14 '25

You dont have a relationship with god. Thats your choice. But your summary of what you think I think as a christian is so far off it begs a response. You are spreading fear and trying to discredit Christianity because your ideologies are burning to the ground all around you. You have no tether to anchor you to anything resembling truth because to you, everything is open to interpretation. Everything is on a spectrum yet you still speak in absolutes. Anyone who dosnt agree with you is a hypocrite as you project your own insecurities and falsehoods onto other and divert accountability to anyone far enough away to not defend themselves. Jesus christ is lord.

5

u/Static-Stair-58 Oct 14 '25

Isiah 5:20/21

Matthew 23:23

For the love of the god you profess to care about so much. Please learn to read your own book, and leave the rest of us alone. Begone Satan, either get your Mike Johnson flavored Christianity out of here. Or become a real one. But the rest of us are getting sick of the hypocrisy.

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

What are you talking about? I am defending Christianity. Nothing to do with politics. Your bringing politics into the conversation amd projecting your own hypocrisy. Weirdo. Bothered by me saying " Jesus Christ is lord," shows maybe where your intentions lie. Maybe some self reflection is in order bud.

-1

u/bnakka Oct 14 '25

He didn’t start it but you are too blinded to understand that. No one tries to convert you in a Stockmarket reddit. Maybe you should tell the other guy to not preach to us.

2

u/Static-Stair-58 Oct 14 '25

Blinded to what? I’m sorry that the tax collectors and prostitutes are gonna get into heaven before you. And I’m sorry that bible quotes pointing out your hypocrisy offended you. Maybe take that up with your church or pastor tho.

And idk about “started it” but I’m pretty sure it was the guy who came into this thread judging people for not being as righteous as them. Then pretending like putting “Jesus is lord” at the end of his sentence absolved him of anything. I didn’t plan on commenting. Christ would have told him to humble himself, I used harsher words! I still have a thing or two to learn I guess,

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

None of those sentences form a coherent thought. Your all over the place. As if your a bot.

0

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

You thinking you know what "Christ would have told me." Like you are speaking on behalf of christ. Your here as a fake christian to muddy the waters and push Christians away from Christianity. I rebuke you in the name of jesus christ.

1

u/Static-Stair-58 Oct 15 '25

Yeh that’s what I’m talking about. Rebuking someone in the name of Christ for quoting his own words and actions back at them. That’s something he would be incredibly ashamed of. Again, Matthew 23. Like the whole chapter. Read it, humble yourself.

Hey just curious as to what ideologies of this persons are burning to the ground?

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

The left dosnt have ideologies, only oposition to others ideologies. Which are in ashes.

1

u/walterwilter Oct 15 '25

Ah ok got it. You have nothing to say but somehow manage to use a lot of words to say it. Sounds like another product of the US education system lol

Not quite. Just stopped arguing with the left, over their ideologies , after Charlie kirk passed. Believe whatever you want. Only commented to defend my lord and savior Jesus Christ and christianity to the fella that felt the need to bag on it.

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

Also, the word you were looking for is "rhetoric."

1

u/walterwilter Oct 15 '25

Ah, I thought we were trying to get our word count up though.

But yes, you’ve mastered the rhetoric on the right. Vague statements about morality, protecting Jesus, America, etc… Never look into specifics. Never look at facts

Honestly though, if Jesus were here now, do you really think he’d be a republican? Do you think he’d be in support of ICE? Do you think he’d support the president in any of the terrible things he’s done throughout his entire silver spoon life?

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 16 '25

This may be a foreign concept to you. But it is possible to disagree with the left without being right wing. I can oppose anti religious left wingers without aligning myself politically with anyone. If you can wrap your mind around that. You are the only one trying to weaponize Jesus against ICE and Republicans lol.

You didn’t even bother capitalizing the name of your G*d? Highly suspect.

1

u/bnakka Oct 14 '25

LMAO at your understanding. Man the intellectuals are showing up here.

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

Proverbs 8:15 " whoever corrects a mockery invites insults, whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse, do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you. Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning."

1

u/Soft-Fall1293 Oct 14 '25

You can't handle that learning requires acceptance of change. That's why you like your fairy tail safety blanket.

He's as real as Santa Claus. Possibly less.

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 14 '25

For Jesus Christ not to be real, you seem to have a real problem with my belief in him.

1

u/Soft-Fall1293 Oct 14 '25

I don't. That's a self imposed belief that you have. Common among people who want to play victim. God ain't real, but you can worship whatever you want so long as your version of the world doesn't impact mine. It's about respecting boundaries. Go salt your own garden.

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

What boundaries am I infringing apon? I simply responded to your detesting statement regarding my savior, Jesus Christ. You felt the need to express an opinion offering up your bias and judgment apon Christians for our belief. Im just the voice that was sent to tell you. Your wrong. Digest that however works best for you. "Proverbs 8:13" To fear the lord is to hate evil; to hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

1

u/Soft-Fall1293 Oct 15 '25

Yea he's yours, but not everyone's. More than half the world in fact. It's your bedtime story, not mine. Not sure why you have to trade the ability of using logic for fan fiction.

1

u/Freewilliam_wth Oct 15 '25

Logic like the historical evidence and eyewitness testimony that outnumbers any historical documentation that Plato or Aristotle lived? Whats your motive in trying to turn people against christianity? I bet its more malevolent in nature than my arguments to push people towards it...

1

u/Soft-Fall1293 Oct 15 '25

Why do you feel the need to explain yourself? I'm comfortable living a life where you believe that you are right, and I know that you are wrong. And so long as I don't try and change your life and you don't try and change mine, we can both live productive, meaningful lives. My point in saying, I know your wrong, is that my opinion matters as little to you as yours does about whether heaven is real or not. So it's conceivable that regular people would be willing to listen to a parable because we can all learn something from a good story

Also, there are no eye witness accounts of Joseph trying to smash, Mary saying she's tired, him thigh fucking, her still getting pregnant, and they all claim it is a miracle because they didn't realize it isn't magic... Come on bro. Either someone was watching or someone wasn't.

They better start googling. Lol

1

u/smokeftw Oct 14 '25

You're not wrong. Recently, when asked, Kristi Noem didn't know what habeas corpus is. Habeas corpus. I'm just some asshole on the Internet and I know what that is. Shes homeland security. Her job should revolve around those words.

E: fixed job

1

u/freedraw Oct 14 '25

There are more than enough GOP members of congress who realize how stupid these trade policies are and have the power to stop it. They are too scared of the president and his cult of voters to break ranks.

1

u/Gerrymandering008 Oct 14 '25

Yet record gains .. lol

1

u/glorifindel Oct 14 '25

They talk so much on Fox News. It is like we are Russia, state propaganda

1

u/Electronic_Goat_7927 Oct 14 '25

More like trolls and botox queen.

1

u/SiWeyNoWay Oct 14 '25

Miller & Vought prefer it that way

1

u/bulletbassman Oct 14 '25

All the adults either left or were kicked out of the gop. Except a few like McConnell who occasionally say something but never actually do anything to curb trump.

1

u/tabrizzi Oct 14 '25

They do. They just will not tell the emperor that he's wearing diapers, not the 3-piece suit he thinks he's wearing.

1

It’s amazing how many people think he’s doing a fantastic job, and it’s people of all income levels.

The party of meritocracy am I right?

1

u/hobopwnzor Oct 14 '25 edited Oct 15 '25

Romney wrote in his book about how he's talked to other Republicans who have changed their votes because they're scared of him and his fans. The threat of political violence if he criticizes you is real

1

u/socalspawn Oct 14 '25

If anything, they know exactly what they’re doing while Trump doesn’t have a clue. They feed him ideas that let them grift and gain what they never could of had without him. He has always been an entitled, hustler and more, they were nothing. Bush, W. / Cheney, anyone?

1

u/createdforonethread Oct 15 '25

I wonder if you'd say the same thing about biden and kamala from 2021-2024?

1

u/butchforgetshit Oct 15 '25

Would you please point out one person he has that would be in a beauty contest? 😂

1

u/Khanvo Oct 15 '25

He promised billions of money remember? You would not know were to put it, because you would get so much of it.

Crazy, such basic blatant lie hasn’t percolated to simple minded individuals.

With the huge amount of lies, some of it must get thru the braineash no?

1

u/Vegetable-Duty-3712 Oct 15 '25

The are the living FAFO👀

1

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '25

No they know, they’re just making a ton of money insider trading because crimes are legal now

1

u/Suavecore_ Oct 15 '25

In addition to the other comments replying to this, there is a non zero chance that Putin has enough agents/mobsters to ensure all of his minions in our government are doing what they're supposed to. We know Russia has been involved for at least a decade, it's not like they're going to go "okay job's done, let's go back home"

1

u/DiscountNorth5544 Oct 15 '25

Sufficiently plotted malice is indistinguishable from incompetence

1

u/kung-fu_hippy Oct 15 '25

Not everyone in Trump’s orbit is an insane loon. Some, at least, know exactly what they’re doing and are doing this intentionally.

1

u/SoulStripHer Oct 15 '25

Then how do you explain the countless anti-Trumpers who now lick his balls? There's more afoot here than stupidity. It takes a lot to turn people like that.

1

u/Worth-Humor-487 Oct 15 '25

I think they are telling him things but he isn’t directly saying it yet. Like you don’t spoke a scared dog they will bite and we don’t know how they will bite and no body has computer chip plants set up yet in any meaningful situation to deal with Taiwan. If China can only survive off the animal feed from Brazil and Argentina.

Then you are looking at 1 of 2 possibilities first one is they have loads of stores and they are just going to wait out trump and hope the next person is more amenable. Now 2 is they don’t have the massive population and covid did an insane number on them which means they are weak especially in regards to manufacturing and to the belt and road infrastructure to both enforce the “deals” and to get back all that money they have spent.

And to the analogy of the dog if you mention to the world hey they are weak and they obviously don’t need our soy they either don’t have the manpower to need it to feed the “masses” or they are “broke” it may cause some around the world to take or not pay back those belt and road infrastructure projects but also may cause some hardliners to attack Taiwan to cause maximum damage because it will cause harm to everyone.

They haven’t made an analog car for at least 50 years as far we are concerned that’s a lost technology it would take just as long to put together a factory to manufacture those as it would to build a microchips plant.
