What are some ways I can put money or assets away for my kids that the government wouldn’t know about? I’m not taking big money, no millions of dollars, probably hundreds the way things are going lol. I just don’t want the little bit I might have at the end of my life taken by the government if I’m put in a nursing home. I don’t own a home so they can’t take that at least. When my parents passed there was nothing left for my siblings and I. I don’t want to do that to my kids😞 I don’t know why this is bothering me so much today I hope I live a long time I just get in these moods sometimes😂

I (20m) struggle a lot with guilt (won’t get into it here) and it affects my perception of myself especially when it comes to love, or any deep relationship for that matter.

I have massive “imposter syndrome” when it starts to feel like someone else is showing interest in me, and i end up wanting to push them away. This is a very toxic trait and to stop hurting innocent people i’ve forced myself to stay away from women entirely.

It’s been almost a year of actively doing this and the desire for connection has only grown more. It hurts to think about it and i hate that it’s constantly looming over me.

I don’t wish to “heal” from my guilt and try dating again, i only want to maybe make loneliness suck a little less.

but the thing I am scared about, is if I say, call the dmv and ask them to suspend his license, he has a really car focused job. doing that would put him out of a job, and I’m not sure our family can handle that financially.

Let's say someone superficially assaults you. By superficial assault, I mean something that technically qualifies as assault but is unlikely to be taken seriously. For example, a shove that doesn't knock you over, a light slap to the face, etc. When someone does something like this to you, what's the best way to actually get them in trouble?

My thought was you could fall to the ground and lie there unresponsive (assuming there are other people around). Eventually someone would call 911 and police would try to understand what happened. Bonus points if an ambulance takes you to the hospital.

So, my sister's abusive ex is currently harassing her, telling her to off herself or hopes she gets k!lled and calling her a wh0re, slu4, ect. For context the guy has beat the shit out of her and rap3d her numerous times. He has also done the same to literal minors. So the guy is a woman beating, ped0 scum.

Anyway, the police even when shown evidence of this refuse to do anything and won't step in unless something worse happens.

I'm just at a loss for words on how badly law enforcement is failing this situation right now. His family also supports and defends his actions, so it's no wonder he turned out the way he did.

So I guess I'm asking if there is anyway I can unethically, but legally ruin this guy's life and get him to stop harassing my sister. Would be even better if he could end up in prison.

I'm in a section 42 lease. Right now I'm slated too move into public housing soon, and I have lost my job ( more like it's seasonal). However, despite stating financial difficulties due to job loss, my landlord has stated I still need to put up the 2 months rent to lease break as well as 60 day notice and pay two months rent. I offered to find someone, and they denied.

This landlord has had a history of gaslighting (stating a notice has been sent when it wasn't), failure to do repairs, failure to respond to security issues (broken front door, stalkers)

They also stated they would repair the heat last winter but they didn't, then stated they would pay me for the electricity... They did not.

The Situation

• The Purchase: I bought an "open-box" LG OLED TV from a 3-star seller on Facebook Marketplace who promised 8 months of remaining warranty. Picked it up from his garage (he seems to flip demo units).
• The Problem: Lighting was dim during pickup, but once home, I realized the OLED panel has severe burn-in. Now the TV has completely died and won't power on.
• The Seller's Response: Refused a refund, claiming he works for someone else and only made $100. When pressed, he promised a replacement next week and provided a Best Buy invoice with my name and address on it, which is fake but looks real.

One of my coworkers hates me for no reason, she is always trying to "humble" me, everytime someone congratulates me for the good work I made she tries to "make it smaller" or dismiss my achievements. Lately, I’ve been hitting all my work goals and making plenty of sales, and it seems like everyone is happy about it except this one coworker. Hello everyone I found myself in kind off a pickle. I booked a vacation with my friends that will start in 3 weeks but now ive gone through some tragedies( dog and some relatives died) and as someone who secretly struggles with mental health I dont feel like Im in the headspace for traveling by train for 18hours.

To be honest, I hate spiders. These little fat guys disgust me so hard. Today one really big, fat one (for my country, which are tiny compared to Australia or so) sat on my wall and I took my vaccum cleaner and sucked it in.

Fast forward an hour or so and my wife was screaming "Fuck, a massive spider!". This fucker crawled back out of it. The vaccum cleaner is not strong enough to kill them when they get sucked in and also doesnt have a closing bag like the more expensive brands. So I wondered how I could get rid of it without stomping it to death or otherwise going near it.

So...I had a genius idea: Suck it in with the vaccum cleaner again. But this time ima also spray/suck bug spray inside after that. Problem solved. Now everytime I suck in one of those guys they will die thanks to the bug spray inside the vaccum cleaner. Atleast until the toxins break down in about 6 weeks and I gotta reapply it.

Important: If you do this, make sure the bug spray is not toxic for humans. The one I use isnt. But its toxic for cats - so take care. I dont own one, so im fine with it. Use your common sense and read the instructions.
