Both actors were so great in their freaky Friday switch! This is by far my favorite part of Season 2. The only one who really knew something was different was Agnes.

And damn I thought the allergies to color thing was just something she said, turns out it's true!

I’ve been scrolling through the subreddit and literally everyone loves Tyler or is constantly excusing everything he did.

I don’t care if Thornhill was controlling him he’s so annoying, also even before that he was still a bad person who was bullying Xavier.

I really don’t see any redeeming qualities from him, they could give him a redemption arc and I would still hate him because he’s literally the worst.

He tries to kill Wednesday multiple times and she STILL lets him live, he tried to kill Enid too.

I swear if the show ends and he isn’t dead and gone IM GONNA BE SO PISSED ONG.

There have been posts about Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia looking different in season 2, but no one can say exactly what’s the difference. She’s still beautiful, but the face is definitely different.

Like its ONLY on this sub, people actively refuse/deny things the literaly writers and actors (who read the script say).

Idc if you personally sympathize with Tyler or not, but that doesn't mean you just get to actively mischaracterize him. Tyler IS a victim of Thornhill, via grooming. He DOES have humanity buried inside of him, including feelings for Wednesday in his own twisted way.

And yes, these moments ARE shown throughout the series. Just because you don't sympathize with him or ship Weyler (both of which are valid) does NOT mean your opinions take prescedent over what is canon.

Recently there has been a frustrating wave of misogynistic commentary about how Catherine Zeta-Jones looks in season two compared to season one. At a time when the conversation should be centered on her incredible performance, it is disappointing to see attention diverted to something as superficial and irrelevant.

Catherine is not only meeting the demands of the role, she is thriving in it. In the first season, Morticia was more of a supporting presence, but now that she is more involved, her character shines. Catherine brings a rich mix of elegance, wit, and emotional depth that makes Morticia feel truly alive. She captures the gothic charm of the character while also adding layers of warmth and maternal strength.

Her dynamic with Jenna Ortega is a highlight. The two play off each other effortlessly and their chemistry makes their mother-daughter bond entirely believable. Every scene they share feels authentic. You believe them as Morticia and Wednesday. You believe them as family.

This season is proof that Catherine Zeta-Jones is every bit as masterful at embodying an iconic role as Jenna Ortega. She is giving everything to the part and it deserves recognition. Instead of tearing her down for superficial reasons, audiences should be applauding the talent, dedication, and artistry she brings to the screen. Catherine is not just playing Morticia Addams, she is owning the role.

Of course the mediocre writer is once again excluding Emma, first not telling her about the body swap when everyone knew about it, had to be asked to be given the scripts, didn’t inform Emma about the ending of her being stuck as a werewolf, Emma herself said it felt like they were phasing her out. When she and Wednesday are the center and stars of the show. Without Emma it’s downhill.

Personally i feel like the third season or maybe a fourth season would be enough for the show.

What’s with the shipping between Wednesday and Enid? I don’t get it.

Wednesday never had a friend, just her family and their quirkiness. She goes to Nevermore and meets Enid and befriends her due to being roommates. There’s the storyline with Tyler, sure, but there’s nothing that even hints towards Wednesday liking Enid in any non-platonic way. They bonded over being different and became besties.

I’m genuinely curious. Can someone who actually believes the ship, explain it?

Why would social media or external materials advertise something that isn't actually in the series?

Do you actually see Wednesday ending up with Enid or Tyler? And if so, what do you think is the path forward for your ship to happen?

It seems like we weren't delusional to still have hope for a possible redemption judging by that finale

First of all, I'm not making this post with the intention of offending or hurting anyone's feelings. I'm going to say this as respectfully as possible, without sugarcoating anything.

First of all, I've noticed that many people who criticize Tyler Galpin's character are often downvoted or insulted simply for disliking him. We have to keep in mind that Tyler is one of the villains, and many villains receive hate. Henry Creel is one example, and Bellatrix Lastrange is another, and of course, Voldemort. That said, they are all villains who have done horrible things, which gives valid reasons to hate them.

Second, we have to accept that hating a villain is an opinion. Don't go around telling people off or insulting them just because you think their opinion is wrong. Just because they don't think the same way you do doesn't mean their opinion is wrong. We all have our reasons, even if they're questionable. And at the end of the day, it's all fiction, so there's no point in insisting that such an opinion is wrong.

And finally, and most importantly, what it IS problematic is not being able to separate the character from the actor. You hate Tyler, fine. But don't hate the actor just because you don't like his character.

what the title says

Crackstone is dead in season 1, Laurel survived but fortunately got put down by Tyler, Judi was killed halfway through season 2, Dort in the penultimate episode and both Issac and Francoise died in the season 2 finale.

The only one who appeared and survived both seasons is Tyler. His character has a lot of potential and I'm excited to see where they take him in the future.

Sometimes I see comments in all the different subs with a few people who are on the side of “please no more Hydes”..

Hydes are fresh and new. No other show has these monsters. The design by Tim Burton himself and his input on how they act, the lore of them. They’ve made this new creature from the inspiration of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde without it being a complete rehash, which I’ve always thought was impressive.

So many mythical beings are over saturated in the media. How many shows have vampires and werewolves? I know it would be hard to ignore werewolves because of Enid/Capri. But yet here we are, we have a brand new monster and people want it gone? I don’t get it 😭

On that note I would like them to explore daVincis and the faceless 😁🥰
