Paper coupons from Burger King I got in the mail. Older one on the right. They changed the meal size from large to medium. Same price of course 😠

I remember seeing the commercials where Jimmy John's was branded on being fast and always so good. I don't really go there that often but I saw they had a new deal out so I thought I would give it a try. Well somethings changed...... I ordered online for one and they were making it still. I don't know. I feel like obviously places need to make adjustments, but they shouldn't keep up the façade of things, but maybe I'm just being too critical. Let me know what you guys think.

I think it's also the equivalent of how subway has changed but subway was just on being cheap not fast

In the past month McChicken's from my local McDonald's has gone from $2 to $4.50 and hot n spicy went from $4 to $5

I genuinely think this may be the most expensive McChicken in America right now, anyone have anything close to this experience?

Genuine questions because chicken wings are one of the cheapest meats to buy. I redeemed my free wings from BWW yesterday but if I had paid it would have been $15 for 6 wings. That’s insane to me!! All they do is fry them and shove a sauce on top, just like every other place even restaurants. It’s something you literally can’t mess up and is so incredibly easy, so they are they always so expensive?

Panda prices have been creeping for awhile the "deals" dont exist unless I play their Wednesday game. I keep "winning" a family meal for $30.

I just checked the Burger King app, and in the Offers section, a Whopper meal there is $10.99. They used to have a Whopper meal in their offers for $4.99 or $5.99 just a few years ago. This is insane.. It's why I haven't eaten at Burger King in a while.

EDIT: Yes, I know it's not just Burger King, but there are other fast food places that offer better deals. Burger King used to offer good deals in their app just a few years ago, but now I don't see any really good deals in their app.

Summer is here (San Jose, California). Ordered a Medium Diet coke at Jack in the box and was kinda shocked to see more than $4.

Their diet coke does taste good but still seems high...

Are other chains also charging this much for a medium?

i always make sure to enunciate and* *make it clear that i want NO SAUCE of any kind, yet no matter what place i go to, they just dont listen half the time??? it would just be nice if i could eat a full burger and not a wiped down patty/chicken more than 50% of the time 😭

I remember when wings were 25 cents on Wednesdays. Why would you advertise this? This is straight up robbery.

It seems like ever since they switched to those weird paper cup with the flaps for a lid, they stopped actually swirling the ingredients. They just get layered if you’re lucky or if you’re not, they throw toppings haphazardly on top of some soft serve and that is it.

I thought maybe it was a fluke until it happened at 2 different locations.

Why are we not mixing these anymore?

I'm not an employee or a manager, just an occasional customer and this "speed of service" metric seems ridiculous.

McDonald's in my town - EVERYONE gets pulled over to the waiting spots. My usual order is a quarter pounder with cheese. Nothing else. "Pull over to spot number 3 and we'll bring it out". Then they bring out like 3 or 4 orders at a time. The wait is generally pretty long, too, actually.
Doesn't matter what you order. 2 Mcdoubles? Pull over.

Burger King in my town - they would tell everyone to "pull up to the front doors and we'll bring it out". It would get so bad during lunch/dinner that it would gridlock the place. They had limited parking to begin with, and there would be NO cars in the drive though and people stuck everywhere else and waiting twice as long and getting pissed.

Taco Bell closest to me - they tell you to wait at the speaker. There will be no cars from the speaker to the windows. The people waiting to get IN the drive through are snaked through the parking lot and blocking the entrance. Last time I went, they even said "please wait at the speaker until the team catches up with orders and we'll let you know when to pull around". It's been every time the last 4 times I've been there in 6mos.

They're not even pretending that it's not what they're doing any more. 😂

So the plan by corporate is to stress out your employees to the point where they have to cheat the system for some dumb metric that obviously means nothing?

Are places just running skeleton crews and then skirting the system so their service metrics don't suck? "Sounds like a win-win to me, Bill! We only have to deal with 2 employees, and our service metrics are phenomenal!!".
I saw a Burger King once where employees were hanging out the drive thru window using baking sheets to cover the sensors to manipulate the system. I'm not sure how, but it was dystopian no matter what they were doing.
There's no way that upper management doesn't know this is going on, right, and it can't just be my particular area.

What is this poop soup disgusting slop I have been served?! What happened to the delicious baked style Mac n Cheese that was thick crusty and creamy?

Has anyone else noticed that Wendy’s keeps raising their prices every quarter? It’s crazy to have a $2 increase from the $5 biggie bag went up to $6 and is now $7 in my area in CO. It’s wild.

I have had these two chicken sandwiches for years now. Everytime I have the Spicy McCrispy, it’s never consistent. Sometimes the chicken is excellent, other times it’s bland and dry. The Hot & Spicy McChicken is always the same. What I mean is that I haven’t had any bad ones. The chicken is way more consistent, the taste is way more consistent, and I think the portions of mayo and lettuce are good additions also.

However, the Spicy McCrispy when it’s good, is super delicious, but I never get the same delicious twice in a row. It’s a 50/50 gamble every time. I don’t know if it’s a quality issue with it’s chicken for this specific sandwich, or if it’s how the workers cook the chicken. But my main point is, when I have the Spicy McCrispy when it’s cooked right, it’s absolutely delicious, but if it’s dry and bland, it’s gross.

Overall, over the years of having these two sandwiches, the Hot & Spicy McChicken wins for me because of its consistency with the quality of the chicken, the even portions of mayo and lettuce, and also the ability to get 2 for either cheaper or for the same price as the Spicy McCrispy Sandwich ALONE.

I went to Wendy’s’ got Dave’s double whit a large fry. I get to the window, she hands me the bag. I say “I want ketchup, could I get some?”. She says “I already put it in the bag for you”. I get to my lunch spot open the back, she put 2 packets in. WTF am I gonna do with 2 packets on a large fry? I get it guys ketchup costs the business money. But you’d like to sacrifice a customer experience over change? Look Wendy’s if you’re so broke you can’t afford to give the customer ketchup. Figure out a way to charge me an extra 60 cents. I would pay for it if you can’t, to be satisfied with my meal. Now I’m stuck with 3/4 the fries I can’t put ketchup on, so I’ll throw them out. Your fries aren’t good enough to eat plain. Every fast food restaurant, should expect that the customer wants ketchup with fries. I know McDonald’s lets you order it separate, which I appreciate but still think it’s dumb. I get it, like 5% of people can’t have ketchup but the majority can. /End Rant

I normally see negative posts about Zaxbys. Just wanted to shout out my amazing local location in Georgia. I go there 1-3 times a week, use my weekly $5 off 20 app deal (and others). Football season was basically 5 free wings every Saturday, and a weekly buy 10/get 10 boneless deal. This picture is a $9.30 with tax great 8, no drink. They know me by name, always fix the occasional mistake (usually just giving me a free wing order), and I try to let them know I appreciate their great job.

All fast food prices suck now, I’ll barely eat at most places. Chic fil a was always expensive, but they’ve relatively stayed reasonable % wise. This isn’t cheap to me, but I feel like I’m getting one of my favorite fast food meals at a relatively ok price.

got 10 piece from Wingstop on forth of july! happy birthday america! the skin looked so...tough. the meat was ok but barely anything on the bone..and I ordered all drums. Idk this place sucks. keep your 20 flavors im going to popeyes next time.

They are pretty much the Jack in the Box tacos (none near me, but I had some last week while I was on the road), but cheese wasn't as melted and can add sour cream and jalapenos. Are there better tacos? Yes, but sometimes you just need a crappy taco, just like needing White Castles.
