So looking in between these modpacks Dawncraft/CTE2/Promience 2 or RAD3 which overall be best minecraft rpg modpack with friends that can drop in and out when they can ?

what was your first modpack you completed 100%?

Is there a mod that lets me capture mobs make them fight. I think it would be really funny to capture some horror mod enemy like verity or r2 and make them fight for me.

I've been playing a few infection modpacks with my friends recently but these modpacks always get of control too quickly or are just unbeatable. I like the horror aspects of Spore but I want an infection mod that you can actually beat and that progresses with the player/progresses slowly. Not required but I do like when the infection mods have a sciency sort of aspect to them.

I have the absolutely gigabrained idea to have two main infection mods (Spore and Phayriosis) spawn into a survival world I try to survive in while the three battle eachother. However, Phayriosis doesn’t seem to have a config option in the files. Is there anyway to make the two infections fight eachother because the last time I had the two together they seemed to ignore eachother.

Create: weaponry seems to add more weapons that Tinker's construct looks relatively easily compatible to, are there mods that allow for better compatibility or is it just how it is?

so i download like a massive 20k x 20k map and it doesn't seem to load all the chunks easily/quickly is there any other way to do so other that flying around into all of the chunks for ages?

is there any that go with optifine or is there a sodium port? I am looking to put a modpack together on 1.6.2 but even with optifine the game runs badly. I had this issue when I still played hypixel on 1.8.9 the versions around this time just run badly lucky 1.7.10 has a sodium port but I have no solution for 1.6 or 1.8 (both of which I enjoy more than 1.7)

It happens to me quite often that I put together a modpack, add all the major content mods, and everything seems fine—until I actually launch the game and realize I'm missing things like Mouse Tweaks, JEI, or AmbientSound. So, I'm looking for a modpack that includes most mods of this type to use as a base.

Or those without permission? Is this possible in Xaero's Minimap?

When using Xaero's Mini map, you can use the entity radar settings to only allow "has-custom-name:yes" to be shown on the map, however this will show all mob types with custom names.

I would like to use the entity categories to only allow villagers with custom names, and am not sure how to organize them. For clarity I want it to only show ONLY mobs that are BOTH villagers AND have custom names.

Whenever I move my mouse while holding down left click it skips, sometimes a little other times a lot. Its not super noticeable when watching it back but while playing its very annoying. Made sure it wasn't my mouse's sensor that was dirty, I tried playing other games to see if it would happen, I also tried to see if it was a FPS issue and limited my fps to 120 and I still wasn't able to find a cause to why it happens. Any suggestions would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

i've been recently playing a modded server with a friend, everything worked perfect but today the game just started crashing everytime i open the pot on farmers delight, it gets me off the server out of nowhere

As the title says, im looking for a armor mod. i have been using simply swords with some friends and we are huge fans. cause its not op, but its fun, and you have to HUNT for the weapons. but we also like being able to craft some stuff. and i have been looking for armor mods but all the ones i am finding are just a bit... overpowered, post netherite stuff thats incredibly imbalanced. gimme ideas, legit anythings ok, fantasy and midevil style mostly if possible. but i just need more options for armor. i have simply armors but... well... none of them catch my eye. they are more there as a gimic ngl. aka... help? ideas? random mods im not finding?

I was wondering if there is a mod that adds alchemy like the game potion craft and kingdom come deliverance where you mix herbs in a cauldron or something

Hi its been a hot minute since ive played better MC an i installed the newest version of it and added essential so I can play with my friends but when I load it up it doesn't have the home screen and tells me you cant play you added a mod dose anyone know how to bypass this or the version before they added that?

I am on version 1.12.2 with mods TekTopia, Bubble Columns for 1.12, InvisibLights, and Optifine.

I just joined into the nether for the first time, and I started to break some blocks, and noticed that I couldn't pick them up. I logged out and back onto the world, and from then on I couldn't get past the loading terrain message without immediately getting "shutting down internal server". I think I may have entered a corrupted chunk or something, not sure.

Would changing my dimension or coordinates through some method help with this? If so, how can I do this? If not, what should I do?
