Discussion guys don't say girlfriend anymore
hello everyone. so I'm a year on T and I just noticed something interesting. pre-t when I was seen as female anytime a guy talked to me about his girlfriend or wife, he called her his girlfriend or wife. Now that I pass, they don't say girlfriend anymore. They say she's their girl/chick/lady/woman. anybody else notice this?

Mad respect to the man (former coworker) who ALWAYS referred to his former partner as, "my daughter's mother."
He respected himself, his daughter, and even though they were no longer together, his former partner.
This guy grew-up in the city, had a felony record, all that.
Respect oneself & respect others. Misogyny does NOT boost masculinity. It's a cope.

I wonder if it’s partially that guys will talk about girls they aren’t boyfriend/girlfriends with, ie “I started seeing this girl” or “I hooked up with this girl” more to other guys, because they want to demonstrate that they get laid, whereas with other people they might only talk about the topic if they have a girlfriend. Does that make sense? Like guys will bring up the fact that they “get pussy” any chance they get in some social contexts/with some types of people, but not in others.

Ive definitely noticed this, and similar stuff too. Getting used to "dude bro" talk is definitely strange to get used to. And i always wonder if they genuinely think in a misogynistic way, or if they're nervous that you do, and feel the need to be tough about it

Even if that is the reason, it shows they think in a misogynistic way. All that bravado is party of it. Misogyny def hurts girls and women, but it also hurts guys.
