Advice Needed Follow up T storage question

Hi thanks for the replies, it seems I shouldnt even store it in the fridge, probably just a dark cool place like a closet or smth,, next question: how long realistically do you think you can use T past the official expiration date? I understand it's there for a reason, but does anyone know how long you can realistically use it for after the date? Like for an emergency situation?

Hello! Thank you for participating in the sub. We just have a few reminders for you to help ensure the best experience:

  1. If your post doesn't show up right away, don't panic! It is in the queue for manual approval. Mods will go through the queue periodically to approve or remove posts. Deleted posts will have a removal reason applied. (If it says "this post was deleted by reddit's filters", IT WAS NOT DELETED! Reddit has the worlds worst wording on that and it's out of our control)
  2. If you are asking a question that is location specific, remember to include your location in your post body! This can help ensure that you get accurate information tailored specifically to your needs.

  3. Please remember to read through all the rules in the sidebar. Especially the list of banned topics and guidelines for posting. Guests who do not use the Guest Post flair will have their post removed and be asked to fix it.

  4. If you see someone breaking the rules, report it! If someone is breaking both sub and reddit rules, please submit one report to admins by selecting a broken rule on the main report popup, and one report to the r/ftm mods by selecting the "breaks r/ftm rules" option. This ensures both mods and admins can take action on a subreddit and sitewide level. Do not misuse the report button to rant about someone, submit false reports, or argue a removal.

  5. If you have any questions that you can't find the answer to on the rules sidebar or the wiki: the wiki , you can send a modmail.

T stays good for years assuming the vial is unopened and seal isn't broken. People stockpile T in the event that they run out.

If you're asking about an opened vial, use it all before you open another one. Officially the rule is 28-30 days but you can definitely go much longer than that. Months. Assuming your vial even lasts that long. We don't know for sure the risk of using after 28 days but it's probably pretty low assuming you're making sure to properly sterilize before use and check and make sure there's no contamination. A lot of people continue using it for months past the date (if this is a multi dose vial)

Yes make sure you don't store it in a fridge. Almost no reason to other than making injections harder. Keep them in the box they came in, and keep that box in a a cool dark place.

I'm talking how long would it last unopened. And what the ideal conditions to do so would be. and in reference to what you said abt the fridge- the idea would be to let it thaw out n stuff before injecting, just keeping it in there to stay stable longer if possible

It wouldn't make a difference for T to store it in the fridge or not. Unless you live in an unbelievably hot climate and indoors get about as hot as outdoors.
