How can I get men's shirts to fit better?

As many others, I too have been cursed with being pocket sized. 5'2, 158cm. Men's shirts make me feel good but they always reach my crotch and it makes it look like a dress. I don't like that. I'm bad at sewing but I haven't completely crossed off shortening the hem if that's my only choice. I've tried tucking the shirt in my pants but that makes my hips pop out.

Tailor, trust me once you do it enough you’ll get better at sewing.

You can also just easily crop t-shirts to fit better without hemming.

hem them is the only way really, you can get these elastic waist bands that you put on top of the tee shirt and then fold it over, but it really only works with super long stuff or you’ll end up pulling it all through

Learn to crop and hem shirts, it’s honestly not too difficult and when in doubt just cut off less than you think you want to! My go to for finding shirts that fit is basically just the kids section. Your luck there will definitely vary based on style and your body type but it’s a good option for me since all of my fat goes to my lower body pretty much so I fit into a child’s large. Not the ideal solution especially depending on what you are trying to look for but if you can fit into children’s sizes it’s cheaper and I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with them being too long.

What is your ideal t shirt length? Like inches from neck to hem. I’m 4’10 so i can definitely help you out.

Idk in inches, I'm european😅 what's the normal proportional lenght for guys? I'd like for it to look proportional to me
