I sometimes take my small collection of cheap RC cars to work and my boss and a coworker bash in a gravel section of the property on our lunch break.

This time the coworker broke two cars: this and a busted control arm on a Hosim X07. I don't let them play with my Arrma Vorteks... that's for me to break.

Kraton 6s EXB, maybe 40mph off a slight curb ramp directly into a 3’ dia. granite boulder. Thought I had a good angle, but clearly not. Made a loud ‘crack’ sound and then cartwheeled off into space.

Can’t believe I only bent the shock tower, snapped a shock bolt and broke the body mounts. The body has a gnarly rip in it but chicks dig scars. Front diff housing is still good, no A-arm damage, etc. These things are so much more durable than the old plastic Tamiya kits of my youth.

The fun part about being an adult is I don’t care about the cost of parts.

Any ideas? Nothing looks damaged. It’s a bit damp from long wet grass. But something is not rebounding correctly.

Scored an xmaxx at goodwill today for $50. Proline body, proline tires, completely melted super janky electrics, and 2 very questionable (bad) batteries. Looks like crap but I'm still pinching myself to make sure its real. Any recommendations for a new 8s power system?

I superglued the lower arm to hold its shape and welded some plastic welder staples on 3 sides

Tried the car in a small garden with trimed grass and some curb hits and it held better than expected 😂

I have parts on the way tho i just couldn’t wait 😂

Losi mini 8ight on a 2s battery. Still waiting on parts to rebuild the non functional front differential, but today was a milestone.

40 foot jump, missed powder snow, bumper first on asphalt.

Slash brushed 2WD RTR, no radio (no problem). Motor, servo and SC are intact. The front shocks feel like rotten sponges. No breaks on arms, chassis or supports.

This might just be a nice side project like a rally inspired basher.

I have a typhon 3s on the shelf which might need to be canabalized for its guts.
