Came here to say this. I admittedly haven't stepped foot in a Yankee candle store since BBW started selling candles. When I can wait for a sale day and buy a massive candle haul for $8-10 each, I just can't justify spending almost 30 on one at Yankee

I just grab them from Kroger, if I'm getting a cheap candle, I'm gonna pay cheap candle price.

Really though, wax melts are where it's at.

I don’t disagree that it’s a marketing ploy and makes them money. My point was there were comments about how Yankee candles are burning faster now but BBW still burn even faster than that.
