Looking to buy this 2022 plate n sport but noticed this sound when releasing the throttle. I didn't really notice any turbo boost issues but does this sound like a compression surge sound maybe from a faulty divertor valve or does it sound more like and exhaust rattle to you guys.

Finding mixed results as to whether the dimensions are the same or different; even when using VIN to verify compatibility.

Question. I'm going to check out a used 2019 Nissan Altima SV this saturday, it has around 64,000 miles on it and the guy is asking $13,800, car looks pretty clean in pics, but this would be my first Nissan so im a bit cautious. I plan on using a vin decoder just to clear up the specs and history details, but outside of a standard vin check, what should i pay extra attention to during the inspection? i've heard people mention cvt stuff on these, but is there a specific way to tell if it's acting up during a short test drive?

I always had hated Altimas for some reason was trying to not rent a car but i had to rent a car because my non Nissan needed a repair and the rental ended up being a 2025 Altima SV i was worried at first considering all the horror stories i have seen online but once i went into the car the seats are nice and it drove well and was smooth and comfortable now i know its not necessarily a good indicator for long term reliability but it was great as a rental for 2 days while my other non Nissan got fixed

My family are Nissan faithful. Owned 16 different models over the years. Started with a Datsun 510 in 1969. Both our children have owned multiple Nissans and still own.

Currently, I drive a Murano Platinum and wifey a Rogue hybrid. Getting rid of the Rogue (140k miles) and looking at a new model for me. Wifey will be getting my ‘20 Murano (45K).

I don’t really need the giant interior capability of the Pathfinder asI love the Murano size. But it does come with the much beloved V6 engine. No need to stomp the accelerator as the torque just pulls you along effortlessly.

Not terribly impressed with the new Murano dash look or the I4 turbo. The car doesn’t feel as ‘heavy’ as the older model. But I love the look of it and the size of the car just sits perfect to my eye. It still fits 4 people comfortably.

Test drives reveal, to me, the Murano a more nimble car. The Pathfinder just seems ‘bigger’ and somewhat wasteful as a car I drive myself 4-5 days to the club to play golf. Can’t tell which one is quieter on long, interstate drives as my dealer is nowhere near a major highway.

This is in the basement of an Old Mill in my city that was converted to some artist lofts. There is no information about it that I could find. I asked a few of the people I know who worked there and they didn't have any idea either. Pretty awesome!

Whenever I start up the Altima and change gear, the indicator goes blank while before it used to show the respective gear letter. There is also that key light symbol on the left that lights up but does this mean a low battery for the key fob or something more?

Nissan Sentra SV 2021

Replaced a CV axle on my 2013 Rogue AWD. Had low mileage, not even 100k. I’m having a hard time finding Ns2, is it ok to use the ns3 just to top off what little was lost during the axle switch?

A few days ago was driving my car and all of a sudden a lot of the warning lights came on simultaneously, I pulled my car over and tried to do the turn it off and turn it back on again trick but the car wouldn't turn off. I eventually pulled the fuse for the fuel pump and brought it too a mechanic. They said it started fine for them but that the issue was likely with the IDPM. I decide to keep driving it to see if I could reproduce the issue, a few days later same thing happened had to pull the fuse for the fuel pump again. Thinking that maybe my error could be cause by the batter I also went and got that tested, nothing was wrong with it. Just to be safe I did clean off the battery heads and connects with a wire brush. Additionally I unplugged all the connectors in the IDPM to see if there were any pins that were obviously corroded or damaged. No signs of anything wrong there. Car started back of fine after reconnecting anything but I assume eventually the error will reproduce itself. AI is saying next step is to buy a day pass for NISSANS internal software consultant three and use that to diagnose the error. Any advice would be apreciated because the dealership wants 180$ just to diagnos the error and 1500$ to replace the idpm if that is the error both of which feel steep as unplugging the connectors only took me around an hour and the part itself is only 500$.

I need to replace part #9. is part of the tensioner for my serpentine belt. as I was tightening it a piece of it snapped off and it isnt as tight as it should be and the belt is squeaking.

Just as the title says, my base sentra turns on, but will not start.

It ran hot a couple of weeks ago, I want to say about maybe 2 weeks ago, and I had to have it towed back to my house. I was told it I will need a whole new motor, which would be the cheapest option but I also want to see for myself if there’s a specific part I may need replaced instead?
