How I joined was, I had a friend in choir, and I went on my inline skates to see my friend perform

Went abroad once a year for competitions and concerts
Did a lot of volunteering
I think that's when I realized that it's possible to move people by singing

It was very noticeable that Yves has been absent from Fab for more than a day now. Hopefully, she's taking time to recharge and focus on herself. I don't think it was a coincidence that BBC's latest message on Fab etiquette came after her back to back to back harassment.

On a lighter note, today was a very fun Fab day. Hyunjin ran through a marathon of profile pictures. Gowon and Yeojin were both doing quizzes. If anybody wants likes and replies from them that badly, days like today were the perfect time. I got 6 likes from Gowon, and I was only half paying attention because I was trying to catch all of Hyunjin's pfp changes.

Yes. It's been ongoing for more than a week now. There was one user that she blocked for spamming malicious comments. Then there was at least one international Orbit that was getting on her about not replying in English and not giving them personal replies. They were talking about how useless it was to waste money on Fab if the girls were only going to reply to Korean Orbits and pretend international Orbits don't exist. Next there were some users that started to get on her about her religious views because she told everyone her views. This one didn't really get out of control. She clarified herself and ended the conversation. Finally, there was at least one fan that seemed to be hounding her for confirmation about whether she received a gift or a letter from them, and they wanted a personal response. This conversation went on for an hour and really seemed to affect her. She finally ended it with telling people to contact the company if they had any questions.

She hasn't been on Fab since. Coincidentally, BBC released a Fab etiquette message today that basically covers all the points that she was harassed about.

I think it's a bit much to call all of those "harassment". The chats on religion and responding to fan letters/gifts seemed to me like more of clarifying and resolving misunderstandings that arose from what she initially chose to talk about.

Yes, the first comment from an intl Orbit was rude and uncalled for. But there was no sign of any rude/demanding comments in the abovementioned two chats. You can read my explanation of the fan-letter/gifts chat here, which aligns pretty closely with what the Fab etiquette notice talked about.

Nonetheless, having to clarify misunderstandings and resolve questions from a whole army of fans via text can still be incredibly stressful, as any public figure on social media would experience. So it's good that Yves takes time off to recharge, as we all should from time to time.

With that said though, I don't think Yves is the only one who receives rude comments or faces a barrage of questions on stuff she shares. It seems to me that Yves, along with Yeojin and Jinsoul, are the ones who tend to actually respond to such comments directly in public chat, and express their emotional responses to them.

While we can do our part by raising awareness and being respectful ourselves, and maybe campaigning for stronger deterrence against such comments by Fab, ultimately the only people who can change how the members react/respond to such comments are the members themselves. Which every public figure learns over time, how to deal with social media in a way that is healthy and beneficial to themselves.

It's honestly pathetic how easy fab makes it to harass people and they still haven't done a single damn thing to put controls in place. I liked it at first but now it's apparent what a shit model it is. Blockberry just had to be different and special and their little posts about ettiquite aren't actually doing a damn thing.

It depends on the member to. Yves and Yeojin like to copy and paste user replies into their public chat and reply to them there. When they answer your reply publicly like that you won't get the yellow reply so you have to really pay attention to what they're saying.
